      That's something father's commonly say here in South East Asia too! Fathers always say it to the male partners of their daughters, that "if you fell out of love or you have an argument or don't wanna be together anymore just return their girlto them" just as she was handed before indicating not a single bruise whatsoever. They know when a girls father is like that that if even a slap, that boy's gonna be gone before the next sunrise lol.

      Him purportedly being on Meth probably didn't help either. You'd have to be a serious psycho/sociopath or have your brains scrambled by some pretty serious drugs to do what he did. I do agree with you though, don't jump into marrying/living with somebody you don't really know.

    • @nathalytoledo6323
      @nathalytoledo6323 3 місяці тому +23

      Yes, it is better to date for years before marriage. You really need to pay attention to the person you will spend the rest of your life with. One major red flag is him calling her "trophy", which is something that I would never like to be called or want to call my future husband. Minor details, but similar to the act of humiliating your partner with cake on their face and becoming aggressive/competitive (without any previous discussion) during the wedding day.

      My college advisor repeated this to his students on a regular basis, especially when speaking on violence: You are the person who knows your heart through and through, and you should consider how frequently you surprise yourself. Now consider that perspective when you're trusting someone you know, and even more so when you're trusting a stranger.
