I made a spinning top from an old bolt (without a lathe).

I don't have a metal lathe so I built Frankenlathe 1.0 (a jig for my drill press) and set to work on this rusty old bolt.
The result is a tiny 0.5 oz (14 gram) spinning top that spins for 8 minutes (with a bit of practice).

Thanks so much! 🙏I made a couple of prototypes with tapered sides and was struggling to beat 6 minutes so I was really surprised when this one easily surpassed 7 minutes and after a bit of practice I could achieve 8 minutes. Gotta admit my fingertips were pretty sore by the end. 😄
