I always check out different videos from other channels whenever they cross my feed but they're never as good as Brandon's vids from tattooing 101. Thank you for the consistent reliable value 🙏
Thanks so much for your awesome videos! It would be super helpful if you posted a link to the image file so that one could do the lesson along with the video… not sure if that’s an option, but figured I would just mention it.
Love your videos! i would LOVE... to see you guys trying out I AM INK and doing tattoo with it, we don't like it in our shop compared to the old good stuff since we can't use inks that's not REACH compliant.
I have a black flower tattoo, from my first tattoo, but i like make some red color on it to look more beautiful, how can i do it? Do you have some video for editions the old tattoos ? Thank you so much ❤
First off you guys are great. I love you guys! I was wondering if you could start telling us not only what needle grouping but if it's a standard 12 or 10 gauge. Appears a lot of people only use 10 gauge. Thank you guys and again much much respect!
@@Tattooing101 thank you for responding you guys are great. Hands down the best channel on UA-cam for this content. Can you use 10 gauge to color pack. I noticed on the video review for the CNC Q2 starter kit he used a 10 gauge curved mag to pack the butterfly with. Also another question I have the difference in the tapers maybe you guys can make a video on that what you would use the different length tapers for.
Super helpful content! Also I have a question, I haven't tattooed on real skin yet, I'm still practicing... My main concern is damaging skin during shading process. I'm always mindful with my hand pressure, the angle and angle. I just don't know how many times I can go over the skin until it's considered damaged... Do you have any tips on that? I'm just always worried about skin damage... To the point where it's stopping me from trying on real skin :(
What shade of greywash do you use for the shading? Also will you guys change your stroke throughout the tattooing process (lining, shading and colour packing) your videos are super helpful guys can't wait to see more
I typically set my machine between 6 - 8 volts with the magnum. This range provides enough power for smooth shading without overworking the skin. However, the optimal voltage can vary based on your machine and personal technique. It's essential to adjust accordingly to achieve the best results.
When im doing fake skin, the lines dont go in solid black. There is a sort of thin line of no ink going through the line i just did. Hard to explain but i hope you get it. Its good ink and the cardridges i use are good ones too, the only thing i can think of is the fake skin, its a thin skin and not so thick as yours. Do you think that can be the problem?
Great video, awesome sharing! Seen your contest for the inkjecta and I just really hope I could win it. Been at it forn2 years now, banging out decent work with my Ambition Soldier but I think I'm ready for a true top grade professional machine to take my skills to the next level
Got this problem with bleeding skin. Like bleeding that much that session don‘t last over an hour. A lot of my clients have this. Thought it was me so I: 1: tightened the skin more/ less 2: slowed down/ sped up the machine (Cheyenne Hawk) 3: less/ more needle depth 4: change needle cartridge brands Then thought it were the clients (though it happens to around 70% of my clients) and asked them to not drink coffee, energy drinks etc 3 days prior to the session. Sleep well, have no stress etc etc. Didn‘t help. Every now and then I have clients that just don‘t have this problem and I work on them in exactly the same way. Can you please tell me what can be done to stop these clients from bleeding?
Also no NSAIDS, no blood thinning meds, no drugs or booze, no nothing 48 hours b4. Often clients will take something to help alleviate pain but it can make them bleed like crazy. So no-thing. Tell them that even though they may want to, it will cause more pain trying to get color to take when it can't due to the pain meds, etc. Also watch your depth. Practice skins require more depth than real skin in most cases as it's more dense.
@@alisarose1407 thanks for your answer but this I allready know. I have been tattooing since 2006 so I have a bit of experience. I tell/ ask all my clients about pain tablets/ coffee/ alcohol/ energy drinks/ drugs/ not enough rest etc. And they all say it‘s none of that. I have had a needle depth as shallow as 1,5-2 mm and as the ink don‘t even goes in deep enough they are bleeding like virgins attending a gangbang…
What size needles did you use for the outline and what for shading. I am very new and that would help a lot of you did this in all videos, Thanks a lot I really enjoy and learn a lot by watching your videos
Anyway, I ALWAYS HAVE a PROBLEM of SHADING (!!! 😪💧😥) in Sketching & Drawing the Picture on a Commonly Piece of Paper OR: on a Sketching Book; & that Surely Makes me Feel "Frustratedly Stress" in doing the Drawing. 😥💧😭
As long as you use water and clean it out you can use it for as many colors as you want to do with that size needle. He said if he switches sizes there's multiple needles. @@39fromhell69

First of all THANK YOU! You helped me out a lot! 🙏🏻 But I have a question, does anyone know which mag is used for shading and packing? :)
Also, what size needle did you use to do shading?
Ok is it me I’m slow or you didn’t use the gray wash in here? Just the solid colors

Bro! Not bad but I do think u should’ve put a little red in the bulb part of the flower just on the edges of the black transition
Beautiful 💝
When using the fake skin should I still change my needles as if it’s a real person or is it okay to keep using the same needles for the fake skin ?
merci beaucoup pour c'est video . super bien expliquer ! encore merci
Is it okay to tattoo over the outlines? Like when you added the green color on the leaves

Beautiful one! I heard cooking oil takes off the ink pretty well from the fake skin 😅
What needles did you use for this
Watching you pull lines on 10 slower than I pull lines on 7😂 so get nervous that I’d tear up the skin going slower

When I practice I use 7rl . What is a good size needle to use while practice to get a clean line? Or is it me? 🤔
you can practice with any size i like 7rl and 9rl to start
Just slow your hand down and speed up your machine. If they're bleeding extra, slow the machine a bit more.
I’m going to assume that grey wash is 50%
Done subscribe and like and notify master.. please do tutorial how to create grey wash on ink cup and how to deep in inks. Thnks master

Wait so when you colour you use only one needle? Just clean it in water after every colour? I thought 1 needle per every colour
I use one cartridge for all colors but I use a 11cm or an 15 cm so multiple needless
