I grew up about 20 min from them in Massachusetts Used to go see them in night clubs in 1972 , before they became famous for a $3.00 cover charge LOL and yes, they did sing this song
Aerosmith is to me the best American rock band. I saw the the first time in 1973 where they opened before Robin Trower & Mott the Hoople. I had never heard of them before. I was hooked from the start. I saw them many, many times thru the 70’s. One of my favorite live bands. Steven Tyler (vocals) has such a great voice and he is constantly in motion. They are a must see live band. Enjoyed your very first reaction to them. It was much like mine. Shock & Awe!
@@shawnmichael777. Me too. If both Trower and MTH hadn’t played as well as they did that night it could have been disaster for them. Aerosmith was bringing the best out of whoever came next on stage.
I wholeheartedly agree. You must pursue your dreams or nothing will happen or change in your life. This was classic Aerosmith displaying the goods and Steven Tyler's voice is at its prime.
The triple standing ovation was great, funny and I feel it was deserved! I gave them one as well. Your interpretation of the song afterwards was very inspiring, thank you! I liked how Mia was enjoying it so much it led to her singing along and it was quite clear that you too Juliet were really enjoying it. Tremendous choice of an all-time rock classic! And they are from where I live, Boston. I work with a guy who knew them in the early days here.
The next one by them HAS TO BE Sweet Emotion. I could have sworn you guys had reacted to Aerosmith, considering the groups you have loved....and Aerosmith is right there.......don’t know how they’ve fallen through the cracks...BUT. So glad you loved them.....excellent band.
I have listened to this song hundreds of times and watched many, many reviewers and none of them said it was pretty, that is the perfect word for it. You young ladies have really good ears for music. For thirty or forty years I have been listening to that song and could never come up with the right description for it until now. Wonderful.

Thank you for this reaction! I remember hearing this song on the radio for the first time when I was about 8 years old and loved it from the start! I was lucky to see them in concert as a teenager and still have their greatest hits album!
YEE Girls yeah Mia sing it.. great interpretation of the song..one of my favorite songs, you know I never thought about it being pretty but you're right.. it is I met my first wife while this song was playing it's always been good luck good job girls thanks
I agree when it comes to The Warning, especially since their new single drops on the 21st!! Another interesting thing is, when Juliet was talking about following your dreams and she said, "Work for it," I was thinking that's just what Paulina said, I believe in their first TEDx Talk at UNR!
I think you got the message perfectly - and, trust me, when you come back and listen to this song four or five decades from now, you'll feel even more emotional. The first international rock tour concert I ever experienced with my friends was a gig by Aerosmith in Helsinki, Finland. Aerosmith are such a great and versatile band. No virtuosoes among their ranks, but they have published more virally catchy hits than you could cram into a week long rock festival. A fourstarload (=****load) of great music videos also. They've got a really nice funky groove going most ot the time - it's fun and well-made hard rock. There's a lot of adult subject matter, but you're probably headed that way anyway. When I heard them first time, they had made music for more than two decades already, so we knew we'd be showered with well known hits that night. The overabundance of these 'powerballads', however, seemed to become a bit of a burden for their credibility during those years, imho. The long ballads became the industry standard for a long while, and were considered an effective way to push the album and single sales. Not many of those ballads compare favourably to 'Dream On', I reckon. But they certainly occupy lot of time when you insist on putting them into your live set. Two or three groovier rock songs could've been crammed into those precious minutes that any of those slow swimming whales took. But no. The commercial pressures often levy a heavy tax on the artists' long time credibility. I love your videos so much, you are such sweet, smart ladies. I hope you seriously consider incorporating active musicianship into your lives - singing, playing, reading, writing, improvising. Please learn the joy of improvisation! Learn the basics of different instruments and practice rigorously the healthy techniques - but sometimes just switch instruments at a whim and start jamming coming up with riffs and building little compositions. These are the ways most of the guys you're reacting to started their stellar careers in rock'n'roll. Most of them were not particularly smart when it comes to sex and drugs though. If you concentrate on the music, you can try out ideas, and make playful experimentations and be sure to make all the possible 'mistakes' so you can start suppressing that ever present fear of errors! Open your minds to the arts of foreign cultures and the past centuries. I promise, giving your brain a regular dose of active music education also pushes you ahead with anything that has to do with languages or mathematics. You'll get badly hooked on _learning_ . Finally, engaging all your elder family members to any degree of musicianship will stimulate their cognitive capabilities enormously, which will help them fight off those memory degrading deceases that currently plague the Western elderly population. Music is such a healthy hobby, and it will provide lifelong challenges for everyone. Much love from Finland. Keep up the good work.
Wow! Great reaction! I am surprised that you had not heard this song previously. It was really interesting to see you react to this classic for the first time!! Definitely a great message in this song's lyrics!

You re-introduced me to a timeless classic which I hadn't listened to in sometime. I so enjoy you ladies and your channel. Really a treat to watch you introduced to music that meant so much to me in 1969!!! Thanks to you both....
Thanks for posting this. I really enjoy you two and your reactions, your interpretations are usually close to accurate. There are things you won't get because you weren't alive at the time the music was created, so who could expect you to? I have been a fan of Aerosmith since the 70's. I saw them in concert twice. The first time was one of the best concerts I've ever seen. The second was one of the worst. I've seen garage bands play better. Doesn't matter, I will always be a fan and this is one of my favorites. Some other tunes to check out from these guys: Back in the Saddle, Lightning' Strikes, Sweet Emotion, Magic Touch, Love in an Elevator, Eat the Rich, and Livin' on the Edge. They have many more great tunes, but these are my personal favorites, and I left out the most well known song on purpose, others will recommend it.
My best friend Jimmy and I used to play air guitar and crank this song up super loud in his room or mine. We wrote the lyrics and would try and dance like Steven Tyler and Joe Perry. We're talking about 1975 and 76.
(I had to look it up but) This song is almost fifty years old! Still an iconic and valid song for society to listen to. They did good! :) Awesome reaction to it!
A friend explained to me that the inspiration for this song was Steven Tyler's vision and dream of Aerosmith's ultimate success at an early time when the band was ready to give up on themselves. It was Tyler's conviction that the band was destined for success. Rock bands attain success the same way that success is attained in any other life venture, by exercising the courage willing to risk failure and the willingness to persevere in the face of adversity. In other words, it's all about faith and virtue. The rest is history.
Definitely a standing ovation. When I was around your age, I recorded this off of the radio, and would listen to it over and over and over again. Probably my first favorite rock song ever that I didn't hear from the older kids in my family. I've now seen Aerosmith a few times, and this song brings out all the lighters, and nowadays bright cell phones. People cry and stuff - it's really heavy! Almost everybody loves this song. A total classic.

Aerosmith...one of the best U.S. rock bands. With a few exceptions ('Pump' album from '89 for one) they pretty much lost their hard rock "edge" after their first five albums ('73 - '77), which were incredible.
I always wonder why people have the craze about Aerosmith (OK, Walk this way is great and all, but...) until I discovered this song only very recently ! Then I had the same reaction as Mia had ---> "Sing with me, sing for the teaaaars..." ---> YES dude, I do !!! ^^
Steven Tyler has said many times that the best Aerosmith song is “Seasons Of Wither” off their second album, 1974’s “Get Your Wings”. It would be a great song to react to next. Actually, most everything they did between their first album in 1973 until 1978 was incredible. For some reason, once they all quit doing insane amounts of deadly drugs in the mid-eighties, their music really went downhill fast. Not that anyone should feel they need to abuse drugs to make great music!
One of the greatest rock songs of all time. Love it. The lyrics are so inspirational and uplifting. Eminem sampled this song. One of the most influential rock bands in American history.

Hey girls nice reaction to Aerosmith one of the great rock bands of all time !! For me it started with the album title song of Toys In The Attic !! So much more for you to do with Aerosmith !!
Aerosmith had their first period of success in the mid 70s and then they boomed again in the late 80s for never fade away again but always be relevant, forever...their music videos from the 80s with Liv Tyler (daughter of Steve Tyler) and Alice Silverstone Crazy and Crying are MTV epic. Add I don’t want to miss a thing and then all Rock’n’Roll they made
@@albertoarenas4017 ahh yeah you’re right, it was The remake of Walk This Way with Run-DMC that came in the 80s. The songs Crazy and Cryin is from the Get a Grip album that was in mid 90s or so
Driving home to Houston after ten days working offshore, the radio played this song followed by Heart "Magic Man', then Robin Trower's "Bridge of Sighs." What a trifecta. That was in '74 and I still remember that moment.
great choice girls this was aerosmiths epic like their stairway to heaven their child in time their bohemian rhapsody.I recommend walk this way with RUN DMC an interesting and ceative collaboration
Aerosmith...oh dear, another rabbithole... A lot more great songs there. So many I have a hard time recommending any. I bet we will see more of them sometime.
You guys are awesome. I love how you have just gotten better and better. You also clearly follow the rules in a delightful way. Shame on anyone for even thinking about giving you a copyright issue. Thanks and keep up the great work :)
I'm 2 weeks late on this, but loved your reactions. I knew you would like this ,because the vocal is stellar as is the band's instrumental performance.Probably Aerosmith's finest moment.
Aerosmith Dream On (MTV 10th Anniversary). Granted a studio recording will always be more technically perfect but as demonstrated by this live video, music was never intended to be played in a vacuum.
You can see Zeppelin influence.....soft to thunder....and Plants influence on Stephen Tyler. Jimmy Page played with them occasionally...and Stephen mentioned that Jimmy approached him about being his vocalist for a collaboration in the early nineties.....but Stephen wanted to stay with the very successful Aerosmith......When Zeppelin died, Aerosmith kinda scratched that itch.
An example of bands with instrumental intros and a great tune that follows. Genesis, Behind the Lines off Duke, 1980. Phil Collins liked it so much, he did his own version on his first solo album, Face Value. Would love to see you do either version, or both!
Great reaction and thanks for sharing. Aerosmith had another song very similar in the same time as this called 'Sweet Emotion' that I think you both will also enjoy. Then check out 'Walk this Way' :) Chris
@@frankmccollum1443 When I was eight years old I acquired a tape of Aerosmith, my favorite song from it being Last Child. This was in the early seventies, I guess. Five years later I first heard Bohemian Rhapsody, and I said to my dad that I wanted the 45(!) for Christmas. He said, "No, son. You don't want to get into that 'rock and roll' stuff." Then my sister started listening to country music so she gave me her old 8 track tapes, including Nazarath Hair Of The Dog and BOC Secret Treaties. There was no turning back from there, but to this day I consider Last Child to be the first time I fell in love with 'that rock and roll stuff'.
Hello Ladies! This is the more mellow side of Aerosmith, they are America's most hard rocking band of all time. the 70's was their best period. Walk This Way and Sweet Emotions are classic hard rock song's. Also their albums Toys In The Attic (1975) and Rocks (1976) are one of the greatest hard rock albums of all time. Check them out. Always like your reactions.
Now that you've heard the studio version, do yourselves a favor and check out the live performance from the IHeart music awards. I promise you won't regret it.
There's a brand new all-girl death metal band from Brazil called Crypta formed by ex-Nervosa members Fernanda Lira (vocals/bass) & Luanna Dametto (drums), former lead guitarist of Burning Witches Sonia "Anubis" Nusselder and ex-Hagbard guitarist Taina Bergamaschi. Their first single is From The Ashes, please check it out, they're on Napalm Records.
It may be hard to believe but this gem wasn´t a hit back in 1973 when it came out. After their huge success of their "Toys in the Attic" album featuring the mega hit "Walk this way", "Dream On" resurfaced and became a big seller.
I just had a thought after all these years of hearing that song. At the end, right after he sings at the end, "Maybe the good Lord will take you away." The music almost sounds like the siren of an ambulance! Almost like DOA by Bloodrock.

Add I don’t want to miss a thing and then all Rock’n’Roll they made
Liv and Alicia Silverstone videos where in the 90s
@@albertoarenas4017 ahh yeah you’re right, it was The remake of Walk This Way with Run-DMC that came in the 80s. The songs Crazy and Cryin is from the Get a Grip album that was in mid 90s or so
1975 we were singing Dream On louder than Aerosmith at the Springfield Civic Center in Springfield Massachusetts. We all knew the words.
Driving home to Houston after ten days working offshore, the radio played this song followed by Heart "Magic Man', then Robin Trower's "Bridge of Sighs." What a trifecta. That was in '74 and I still remember that moment.
Those moments when we are driving, especially at night, and there are the right songs, become some of the best nostalgic memories
great choice girls this was aerosmiths epic like their stairway to heaven their child in time their bohemian rhapsody.I recommend walk this way with RUN DMC an interesting and ceative collaboration
Great job as always girls...Aerosmith has so many hits and great songs...do more...
This is one of the few songs you can sing along with while reacting to it, because well...he's literally asking you to sing with him
Great reaction! And once again I have to compliment you both with your cool rock tees. I must say you’re building quite a collection!
Absolutely Love "The Standing O's".... AWESOME!!!
Awesome reaction, guys!
Brilliant song very hard for most people to sing love both of your reaction to it!❤
Thank you Ray!
Great reaction ladies can't go wrong with this rabbit hole chk out more from them....there still rocking to this day 🤟🤟
Sweet Emotion another great Aerosmith song
Aerosmith...oh dear, another rabbithole...
A lot more great songs there. So many I have a hard time recommending any.
I bet we will see more of them sometime.
You guys are awesome. I love how you have just gotten better and better. You also clearly follow the rules in a delightful way. Shame on anyone for even thinking about giving you a copyright issue. Thanks and keep up the great work :)
Awe! Thank you so much for your kind comment!
YEE GIRLS About 75 to Go 😁 you know 🌎 you have the world
I'm 2 weeks late on this, but loved your reactions. I knew you would like this ,because the vocal is stellar as is the band's instrumental performance.Probably Aerosmith's finest moment.
Basically Led Zeppelin came out with Stairway and Aerosmith said Hold my beer
Yeah two Equally Amazing songs.
You 2 got me emo over a song I've prob heard 100 times, congrats.
Aerosmith Dream On (MTV 10th Anniversary). Granted a studio recording will always be more technically perfect but as demonstrated by this live video, music was never intended to be played in a vacuum.
I always look forward to the "Yee!". LOL! I don't have a clue what it means, but it's obviously something to you two. : )
Aerosmith - Dream on Postmodern jukebox cover with Morgan James (her voice blows your mind)
Gotta hit up Sweet Emotion...one of THE greatest riffs in rock and roll...
Without this song...I probably don't make it through the 70's. An anthem for all generations.
An example of bands with instrumental intros and a great tune that follows. Genesis, Behind the Lines off Duke, 1980. Phil Collins liked it so much, he did his own version on his first solo album, Face Value. Would love to see you do either version, or both!
You ladies are experiencing a time when the most talented musical artists ever in history came together.
This was our high school senior song.
Great reaction and thanks for sharing. Aerosmith had another song very similar in the same time as this called 'Sweet Emotion' that I think you both will also enjoy. Then check out 'Walk this Way' :)
Chris
Check out Walk This Way with the rap group Run DMC, it was Aerosmiths return from a absence to get cleaned up from abusing drugs.
My favorite Aerosmith song. Its older and there's another version where the Boston Philharmonic plays in it. Enjoy ladies.

Boston Pops version.
40 years later and Aerosmith has still refused to sell out from their original sound. Have you heard Last Child yet? I think it is their best song.
One.., of their best.. I salute ya tho..
Great song, great reaction. Plenty more 'smiths you can react to !
Welcome aboard, young ladies! This is a great song, in my opinion 👌.
You just listened to Rock's First Power Ballad. 🙂
Thanks for reacting to this. It is a classic in EVERY sense.
Areosmith "train kept a rolling" Killer song!
We'll let our dad know to look them up! Thank you !
Lynyrd Skynyrd - Freebird live at the Oakland Coliseum, 1977 - it's a MUST WATCH ladies.
Curtis Loew!!!
Yes, Standing Ovation!!!
Hey you, great reaction! It's been a short while since I watched one of your reaction videos, and it seems like Juliet (if I am not mistaken) grew like 15 centimeters. Well I guess time pass by. That might be a theme of this song aswell. Good to see you girls rocking out again, it spreads joy! I hope you will react to Tool - Lateralus (maybe followed by the mathematic analysis afterwards) soon :D Keep healthy and thanks for the content!
