During his employment at that station he's heard ALL of those attitudes and racial slurs before. It''s just that now they're directed toward him.

I actually like this dude for exposing racism in the force. And taking pride in his heritage.

We need a law that forces everyone to take a DNA test... I´d love to see the results of those who use racial slurs...

He didn't need a DNA test. I could have told him before I saw him; his name is Cleon Brown.

Welcome to our life, officer. But you're going to have to develop thicker skin (pun intended), because the purpose of these people's taunting is to make you feel like you are "lesser" than they are--when actually you now know, and they know, that you are probably stronger than they are both mentally and physically.

Unfortunately there are so many people, not only in law enforcement, who are not culturally sensitive & quite ignorant, believing the stereotypes that are presented to them, mostly through the media. Very sad situation & I hope this man wins his case

Why is their Police Dept making a fuss over a white officer having a little Black ancestry? It's very common for whites especially in the South to have some black ancestry. And African-Americans with white ancestry. Because back in the 1700s & 1800s a lot of white plantation owners fathered bi-racial children with their women slaves. Many of those Bi-racial children grew up and inter-married with other whites or African-Americans. Most of their white descendants are probably unaware of their African roots.

At 18%, that means he had a black grandparent or a mixed parent who passed for white.

Even before he took the DNA test he had all kinds of signs he is black. First is the description of his father’s looks and how his father had curly hair. Next is his body build and the shape of his skull. Lastly HIS NAME.😂 Common now with a name like Cleon Brown he definitely had to know something was up.😂

18% is actually a lot. Which means his father was double that amount, illustrated by his description of having darker skin and dark curly hair. A lot of free black people passed for white so... White people should go slow when it comes to ancestry delving. But I love his acceptance of his DNA. Maybe he should move to a more diverse city/town. peace
