Now do the same thing in FNV with only items from Docs’ house. I’m wondering if the courier stash items will be valid since you technically “get” them there.
Just letting you know that when you do the "Can you beat Fallout New Vegas using only items from doc Mitchell's house" you'll have to drop all the items the Doc gives you because they technically came from outside the Doc's house. He says they were your belongings from before you got the lead implant from Benny
@@shard7549 Hmm tough to say. I'm leaning more towards a yes, but I could also see why people would choose to say no. I believe that a nice compromise would be to not count items bought from Doc, but count items obtained from him through dialogue checks (the stimpacks and doctor bags) or from pickpocketing
@@Mr_KuKy I mean, if you don't accept money from outside Doc Mitchell's house then there's only so much you can get from him anyway. Sell him his own books, use that money for stimpacks, and that's about that

The baton is a surprisingly effective weapon if you invest in sneak and critical perks. I once decided to keep it as my dedicated melee weapon and name it Slappy.
I think a rolling pin run would be hilarious!! You would need to play as an older lady and you’d have to wear a pre-war dress 😉 They can be upgraded with ballistic weave and I think it would be a really fun run to watch!
I love these use only vault item runs. Not only are they very challenging but having Nerbit improvise and come up with unique ways to solve problems is very entertaining.
I like the idea of a “bowling for soup” run, where you can only use the striker to kill and healing is only available using soup (plus sleeping and drinking) It would be more interesting if there was a mod where you could use a bowling pin as a melee weapon, but I’m not sure if there is one. Love the runs too !
That was lame as F. Mid at best. I thought of chucking a Warthog at NPC's like in InfernoPlus's Cursed Halo Mod. Call it the "Warthog Run", MF do better.
Can you beat Fallout 4 without experiencing any “oversights” from the developers. Play it on survival, and if any glitches, oversights, etc. come up, you have to immediately restart the game from the beginning. Also play it with the minutemen because they are the most glitchy faction. Love your vids man!
That’s going to be longer than the Metal Gear video if he gets what I like to call, The Curse of Sanctuary. Basically, it auto-cancels all dialogue in Sanctuary.
Geez…you want him to suffer. Nerbit once had a glitch where father was floating while he was taking out the institute in the final mission. Your run would have made him redo the whole thing again…. 💀
I love the counter balance in Nerbit vids of the Gunners in Green Tech either being a cake walk or slog, and it's usually obvious which is which, but it keeps him humble.
This video gave me a similar idea. Can you beat Skyrim using only item's from the Helgen tutorial? Maybe on the survival difficulty that requires you to sleep, eat, & stay warm?
You know, hearing Nerbit talk about how good VATs is makes me really curious how hard a VATs Only run would be. As in, the only way you can deal damage is in VATs. Might not be hard, but I am very interested in how good it could become by the end of a run.
It's very doable in all three modern titles, but 4 is built around VATS existing as an entire playstyle and not just a panic button. 3 has the hardest time because of the worst accuracy AND your weapons degrade quicker (Fun fact, that's a thing). New Vegas is somewhere in-between.
@@jordanthejq12 *3 has the hardest time because of the worst accuracy AND your weapons degrade quicker* Actually it could be one of the easiest. With Grim Reaper's Sprint your AP are instantly refilled every time you get a kill in VATS and (if you allow exploits) you can get unbreakable guns from Operation Anchorage.
@@jordanthejq12 NV would be harder, less damage resistance in it, some enemies like spore carriers can't reliably be targeted in VATS, nor can Dead Money speakers, and Grim reapers sprint was nerfed.
@@stm7810 While that is true there's a few more perks and powerful consumables to boost your VATS so I'd say its easier if you try a bit. 3 isn't very hard especially if you get GRS but for most of the playthrough it might just be a tad boring to (same in early NV tbh) as you'd spend a bunch of time in cover or running in circles waiting for your AP to come back
@@FreshMint1527 good point. though at least for the Fallout 4 1 it could be that you have to also only move in VATS using VR, so you only move when you have the AP for it, like the FLASH with asthma.
Is Nerbit bready for that though? They'll be fine travelling as long as they head (y)east. If he doesn't concentrate on melee he'll be toast After siding with the institute, the railroad will baguette what's coming to them If you're on survival, making sure you (wh)eat well will be a matter of loaf and death Lol i could keep going but I feel like I should apologise for these puns now haha
The rolling pin run idea got me thinking about chefs. You should do a Julia Child run - she lead quite an interesting life, and I’d love to see how you interpret her in stats, abilities, and gameplay. Bon appetit!
I do have an idea for a iron man run in skyrim(and not what is sounds like) It is based off ultimate Ironman run in Runescape :you can't trade or sell to merchants :you need to craft everything you use be it weapon or armor :can't pick up armor or weapons from bodys(I say you can only pick up lockpicks, potions and gold) :you can only disenchante items form quests :and you must carry everything on you. You can't store items in anything unless you build a house : the difficulty is expert ot higher :survival The only 3 goals are beat the game, get at least a 50 in Smithing to make a set of Nordic carved Armour and make a house If you do this challenge I recommend playing as an orc for the racial ability, and the ability to access stronghold which would be useful to get ebony. I also wouldn't recommend playing a mage because you can't bye spell books. I found a misc of flames and melee really works and mabey a bow And thanks for reading this This isn't my idea, it comes the channel @Joov he made an entry video on this. He also included permadeath in his challenge which I don't recommend because it makes the game a lot harder
Happy Nerbit day. 🎉. It took me longer than I thought to realise that I really look forward to Friday due to your videos, in manner I sort of rely on them to get me through. Thanks man, have a good weekend.
Simply can NOT wait for the throwback video: “Can You Beat Fallout 111 With Only Items from Vault 4?” . Only seven-hundred years and one real-world nuclear fallout to go before Todd Howard XVII reveals the release date!!
Fun as always. Suggestions: Party Girl run. Must be under the influence at all times, if you're not drunk, then you can't progress until you are. If you run out of booze in the middle of a dungeon, you have to retreat and get more booze. Bonus points for only using Vodka and Bojrbon for healing. Extra bonus points for getting Buddy to make ice cold beers. Charisma perks only. That might be too easy, since you could use Inspirational to make companions play the game for you. I'd suggest Intimidation, Animal Friend, and Wasteland Whisperer only, but you can't make humans turn on each other before lvl 23. On the upside, without damage and crafting perks, every new weapon has potential, without worrying about type.
Swedish Chef run You dress as a chef, use the rolling pin and, can only heal with food and things you cook Bonus points if you do an entire episode with scrambled speech
I have thought of the ultimate run: "Fallout 4 without" the entire run you are not allowed to have any items in your inventory (except those needed by the main quest), you can haver no armor and must use bare hands in all combat. This would prove all possible "without" runs possible which I find funny also the idea of a random naked vault dweller taking down the institute to be quite funny
Given the size of 111 compared to 101 I think this challenge should have included using Sanctuary as well. Just can't do any settlement stuff beyond building the teleporter, and you could trade with Carla as long as she was on the right side of the bridge.
If you do that rolling pin run, I think it would be funny if you did it as Muriel from Courage the Cowardly Dog. Maybe you could use Dogmeat as a companion since it would be thematically appropriate.
Re the rolling pin run, you should do a "could a chef survive a nuclear apocalypse?" And wear chef clothes/hat and only use culinary weapons like knives and rolling pin. No stim packs, but become a master chef but cooking all the recipes.
It's actually pretty easy to get the Cryolator before level 20. Just ask Cait to pick the lock for you. I'd argue this doesn't violate the run either if you just recruit her, take her to open the case, and the dismiss her afterwards.
So Kellogg was technically in Vault 111 during his mission, and the challenge was to only use things that were in Vault 111. . . Kellogg and all his stuff were in the vault. Honestly, I think his items could have counted. 😆
I did a rolling pin run and recorded it, haven’t gotten around to posting it but the worst part is finding one, a tip for you is to stay low level and try to get one from a vendor like Carly or Trudy
Would love to see a rolling pin run in multiple games. Would also love to see "Can you beat Fallout 4 with only The Gainer?", "Can you beat Fallout 4 with only Baseball Grenades (being a pitcher)?", "Can you beat Fallout 4 with only Predator grenades?", "Can you beat Fallout 4 with only Kremvh's Tooth?", and "Can you beat Fallout 4 with only the Rockville Slugger?"
A rolling pin run would be interesting but only if you make it a character style run, maybe a grandma run? Low endurance and perception but you gave that old man strength
When you suggested the Rolling Pin Run I immediately pictured an Irish Mami Run, allowing only the following items. (aside from Quest related items of course) Rolling Pin Chef's Clothing Prepared meals (both crafted and looted, no other consumables)
Well if we wanted to get technical. It is actually possible to get the Cryolator without investing anything into lockpicking. Cait can pick Master Locks the minute you recruit her. Just save, give her the bobby pins and let her at it
Video Idea: Can You Beat Fallout New Vegas As The Scout From TF2? - You Can Only Use A Lever-Action Shotgun, A Pistol, And Baseball Bat For Weapons - Your Main Task Is Being A Flirt, Annoying, And Cocky Little Shit - Run Around Alot And Drink Alot of Radioactive Soda Because That's Canon
You should do a “Granny run” where you use a rolling pin, no running and you’re incredibly cheap and can only buy the cheapest items. Lmao I’m only half joking… Another popular idea is a Chef, and I think that one has merit… cooked food only for healing/buffs, rolling pin or other kitchen equipment as weapons, and maybe a flamethrower for some extra fun since chefs use fire and torches! Haha Also, you could RP as joining whoever has the best food, or something like that… the character follows whatever path brings them to good food, like purifying the capital, joining the institute for their hydroponics and clean kitchens, and perhaps siding with Mr house or yes man for that penthouse lifestyle of gourmet food!
Fallout NV has a wild wasteland encounter where some grannies ambush you and attack you with a rolling pin. Now I want you to picture yourself roleplaying as one. Come on.
Technically, other than items to build teleporter to institute, you need to pick Kellogg's brain to go into his memories, items to build prime, and berillium agitator to complete the run, but alas nice challenge
I'm *very* glad you mentioned the rolling pin, my friend. Can you beat fallout (new Vegas, 3, or 4) as a grandma? New Vegas would make most sense with that encounter where you find all the grandma's. The rolling pin is literally the main part of that idea.
23:40 finally, after all those years, background fallout music that isn't the same droning fallout 3 exploration music that's in every single video playing all the time.
Take the rolling pin a step farther and make it to where you have to play as a chef. So basically you have to use the rolling pin and your only healing supplies are items you cook. And chefs are always working so you can't sleep to heal.
Someone in the comments here mentionned a granny run and I think I'd love to see such a themed run. If however you wanted to focus more on "just the rolling pin" I'd recommend Fallout New Vegas for its large variety of consumable items you can use to boost your melee capabilities: poisons, drugs, not-quite-drugs and perhaps even alcohol with Cass although I'm not sure she'd be willing to use a rolling pin with you though. Heck there's a video on UA-cam of a guy clearing Quarry Junction on Very Hard with a rolling pin. Above all, keep it fun, the adventure is more fun than the pain.
I’m regards to the cryolator, you can use dogmeat to “fetch items” and he will grab the gun through the locked container therefore bypassing said lock.
For the rolling pin run I think you could do Fallout 4 as a "master chef." Chef's hat, white outfit, rolling pin and can only heal using food you cooked yourself. Your goal is to cook every single food recipe and to do the nuka world quest to unlock to weaponized soda as your ultimate weapon. That way you have reasons to go out and do stuff beyond the main quest and the ability to work towards a late game power up.
Here's a challenge for you. Can you beat Skyrim as Artemis, the goddess of the hunt? You would play as a female Imperial. Your outfit will be hide armor, with the Savior's Hide you get from Hircine. Your weapon would be the golden bow you get from the Saints and Seducers pack. Your main objectives are to hunt one of every kind of animal and monster, and beat the main story line to hunt Alduin.
You can get the cryolator early by taking dog meat down to the vault, bring him as close as you can to it, and command him to look for items. He will simply take it out of the case and afterwards it will be found in his inventory along with some ammo
Everyone saying about getting the Cryolater with Dogmeat, that glitch doesn't work anymore, and hasn't for a while

Now do the same thing in FNV with only items from Docs’ house. I’m wondering if the courier stash items will be valid since you technically “get” them there.
Thats up to the challenge runner.
The 10mm pistol is big if allowed, as well as the vault 13 canteen, obviously op haha
Just letting you know that when you do the "Can you beat Fallout New Vegas using only items from doc Mitchell's house" you'll have to drop all the items the Doc gives you because they technically came from outside the Doc's house. He says they were your belongings from before you got the lead implant from Benny
Does buying things from Doc Mitchell count though?
@@shard7549 Hmm tough to say. I'm leaning more towards a yes, but I could also see why people would choose to say no. I believe that a nice compromise would be to not count items bought from Doc, but count items obtained from him through dialogue checks (the stimpacks and doctor bags) or from pickpocketing
@@Mr_KuKy I mean, if you don't accept money from outside Doc Mitchell's house then there's only so much you can get from him anyway. Sell him his own books, use that money for stimpacks, and that's about that
@@nikoincroatia With how some quests give you caps you might have a hard time keeping the count of what you got from the doc's house and what was obtained outside. Selling everything you are allowed to and buying most of the things early on might solve that issue.
But those items are technically in mitchells posesion, which all he has to do is not tell the courier that he has thier stuff, and its his
Dude your channel is a gem. Keep up your awesome work, and never drop the dead pan commentary!
I thought "dead pan" was a reference to the frying pan run
The baton is a surprisingly effective weapon if you invest in sneak and critical perks. I once decided to keep it as my dedicated melee weapon and name it Slappy.
The DBZ abridged Vegeta "Oh No" when you saw the behemoths health bar had me crying.
I think a rolling pin run would be hilarious!! You would need to play as an older lady and you’d have to wear a pre-war dress 😉 They can be upgraded with ballistic weave and I think it would be a really fun run to watch!
like the old lady gang?
I love these use only vault item runs. Not only are they very challenging but having Nerbit improvise and come up with unique ways to solve problems is very entertaining.
I like the idea of a “bowling for soup” run, where you can only use the striker to kill and healing is only available using soup (plus sleeping and drinking)
It would be more interesting if there was a mod where you could use a bowling pin as a melee weapon, but I’m not sure if there is one.
Love the runs too !
love the reference, good on you
You should do Jabo’s mod that gives you a new weapon after every kill. Might be a very fun challenge. Got me back in fallout 4.
30 Minutes of Nerbit after a long schoolday, cant get better than that :)
@theflyingfag5557 im sorry My glorius leader
HELL YEAH
@Mao Sorry to her that… Best of luck!
i hope you learned a lot from playing fallout ,some lessons are only taught in the wasteland.
@@Stalker6622 i definitly learned that Patrolling The Mojave will make me wish for a Nuclear Winter
I immediately just thought of you chucking a radroach at someone.
Radroach almost sounds like radec run.
That was lame as F. Mid at best. I thought of chucking a Warthog at NPC's like in InfernoPlus's Cursed Halo Mod. Call it the "Warthog Run", MF do better.
@@BlackMoonHowls ?? No warthogs in 111, my guy
Can you beat Fallout 4 without experiencing any “oversights” from the developers. Play it on survival, and if any glitches, oversights, etc. come up, you have to immediately restart the game from the beginning. Also play it with the minutemen because they are the most glitchy faction. Love your vids man!
You satist
@@jordanthejq12
*3 has the hardest time because of the worst accuracy AND your weapons degrade quicker*
Actually it could be one of the easiest.
A rolling pin run sounds fun, but I'm just afraid that it won't be doughable.
Get out! 🤣
Who's to say he won't rise to the challenge?
Is Nerbit bready for that though? They'll be fine travelling as long as they head (y)east.
If he doesn't concentrate on melee he'll be toast
After siding with the institute, the railroad will baguette what's coming to them
If you're on survival, making sure you (wh)eat well will be a matter of loaf and death
Lol i could keep going but I feel like I should apologise for these puns now haha
The rolling pin run idea got me thinking about chefs.
You should do a Julia Child run - she lead quite an interesting life, and I’d love to see how you interpret her in stats, abilities, and gameplay.
Bon appetit!
Its a pretty big assumption that every enemy corpse originated from vault 111, but there was a gary clone vault, so...
I do have an idea for a iron man run in skyrim(and not what is sounds like)
It is based off ultimate Ironman run in Runescape
:you can't trade or sell to merchants
:you need to craft everything you use be it weapon or armor
:can't pick up armor or weapons from bodys(I say you can only pick up lockpicks, potions and gold)
:you can only disenchante items form quests
:and you must carry everything on you. You can't store items in anything unless you build a house
: the difficulty is expert ot higher
:survival
The only 3 goals are beat the game, get at least a 50 in Smithing to make a set of Nordic carved Armour and make a house
If you do this challenge I recommend playing as an orc for the racial ability, and the ability to access stronghold which would be useful to get ebony. I also wouldn't recommend playing a mage because you can't bye spell books. I found a misc of flames and melee really works and mabey a bow
And thanks for reading this
This isn't my idea, it comes the channel @Joov he made an entry video on this.
It’s always a good day when a good episode gets a sequel 👍👍
Simply can NOT wait for the throwback video: “Can You Beat Fallout 111 With Only Items from Vault 4?” . Only seven-hundred years and one real-world nuclear fallout to go before Todd Howard XVII reveals the release date!!
hindsight is a funny thing
Fun as always.
Suggestions:
Party Girl run.
Swedish Chef run
You dress as a chef, use the rolling pin and, can only heal with food and things you cook
Bonus points if you do an entire episode with scrambled speech
Thank you for all the Content
Thank you all for watching :)
And now to combine a "starting area only" run with a character run to create the "Can You Beat Fallout New Vegas As Doc Mitchell" run.
Since the outside of vault 111 should count, there is a butt load of radaway outside in the crates.
You can also use dogmeat to get the cryolater.
Wait, *what*? How?
@@FerrousPrime it used to be possible (may still be on unpatched console) to ask Dogmeat to find items = he will steal the cryolator
This is one of your best videos yet, both editing and writing wise.
Also it'd be really cool to see you beat Fallout 4 without healing
I have thought of the ultimate run:
"Fallout 4 without"
the entire run you are not allowed to have any items in your inventory (except those needed by the main quest), you can haver no armor and must use bare hands in all combat. This would prove all possible "without" runs possible which I find funny also the idea of a random naked vault dweller taking down the institute to be quite funny
A rolling pin could be linked to a number of characters so I think it would work well in a chef based run would love to see it
Given the size of 111 compared to 101 I think this challenge should have included using Sanctuary as well.
I've had this idea for a while since i knew it'd be absolutely horrendous to play through, glad someone actually did it
You actually failed when you ate your first person because they are not from Vault 111
It's actually pretty easy to get the Cryolator before level 20. Just ask Cait to pick the lock for you.
I'd argue this doesn't violate the run either if you just recruit her, take her to open the case, and the dismiss her afterwards.
There’s also a dogmeat glitch where he can retrieve the Cryolator. Nerbit has exploited glitches before so idk if this would violate the run or not.
I’d love to see you attempt a speed run with tons of hectic mods to spice things up.
Would love to see a New Vegas run using only Holy Hand Grenades.....the cross explosions
It's always a good day when Nerbit daddy uploads.
:)
Rolling Pin Only run in Fallout is something I've wished of showing to others, PLEASE DO IT, IT'S JUST LIKE THE PAN RUN!
22:54 "Take that, sir! Behold, a grown man weeping like a-" *_Hydrogen bomb vs coughing baby_*
Can tou beat fallout 4 as marcus fenix?
Dunno if you'd allow it but dogmeat can glitch you the cryolater. Take him there and tell him to find stuff, and he eventually just grabs it lol
I actually had a lot of fun running through my game on my channel with only the security baton, you just took that to the next level
A rolling pin run would be interesting but only if you make it a character style run, maybe a grandma run? Low endurance and perception but you gave that old man strength
When you suggested the Rolling Pin Run I immediately pictured an Irish Mami Run, allowing only the following items. (aside from Quest related items of course)
Rolling Pin
Chef's Clothing
Prepared meals (both crafted and looted, no other consumables)
Well if we wanted to get technical. It is actually possible to get the Cryolator without investing anything into lockpicking. Cait can pick Master Locks the minute you recruit her. Just save, give her the bobby pins and let her at it
Video Idea: Can You Beat Fallout New Vegas As The Scout From TF2?
- You Can Only Use A Lever-Action Shotgun, A Pistol, And Baseball Bat For Weapons
- Your Main Task Is Being A Flirt, Annoying, And Cocky Little Shit
- Run Around Alot And Drink Alot of Radioactive Soda Because That's Canon
I just realized your profile picture is Electrode from Pokémon. Thats pretty cool
Nerbit finally learning he can make the rules whatever he wants. I'm here for it, just have fun when you make the videos brother
You should do a “Granny run” where you use a rolling pin, no running and you’re incredibly cheap and can only buy the cheapest items. Lmao
I’m only half joking…
Another popular idea is a Chef, and I think that one has merit… cooked food only for healing/buffs, rolling pin or other kitchen equipment as weapons, and maybe a flamethrower for some extra fun since chefs use fire and torches! Haha
Also, you could RP as joining whoever has the best food, or something like that… the character follows whatever path brings them to good food, like purifying the capital, joining the institute for their hydroponics and clean kitchens, and perhaps siding with Mr house or yes man for that penthouse lifestyle of gourmet food!
To answer your question I would love to see a rolling pin run. That would be awesome
Fallout NV has a wild wasteland encounter where some grannies ambush you and attack you with a rolling pin.
Now I want you to picture yourself roleplaying as one.
Come on.
> rolling pin run
CAN YOU BEAT FALLOUT: NEW VEGAS AS ONE OF MAUD’S MUGGERS?
Technically, other than items to build teleporter to institute, you need to pick Kellogg's brain to go into his memories, items to build prime, and berillium agitator to complete the run, but alas nice challenge
I'm *very* glad you mentioned the rolling pin, my friend.
Can you beat fallout (new Vegas, 3, or 4) as a grandma? New Vegas would make most sense with that encounter where you find all the grandma's. The rolling pin is literally the main part of that idea.
7:25 Deathclaw been playing Halo: Reach trying to kill that damn Elite
Is that still an achievement in the MCC?
i'm an autistic person who gets hyperfixations on games ppl like you making fallout videos still makes me very happy!! amazing content!❤
23:40 finally, after all those years, background fallout music that isn't the same droning fallout 3 exploration music that's in every single video playing all the time.
Damn, that super mutant at Fort Strong must have been a TF2 Soldier main.
Take the rolling pin a step farther and make it to where you have to play as a chef. So basically you have to use the rolling pin and your only healing supplies are items you cook. And chefs are always working so you can't sleep to heal.
Any mitten squad video would prove yes you can
waking up on Saturday to a new Nerbit video is a fave part in my routine
I’m regards to the cryolator, you can use dogmeat to “fetch items” and he will grab the gun through the locked container therefore bypassing said lock.
a rolling pin marathon of all three games, back to back?
I’d be very interested in watching live Nerbit do challenges
Literally Mitten Squad legacy
This is one of the best written and edited nerbit episodes yet
For the rolling pin run I think you could do Fallout 4 as a "master chef." Chef's hat, white outfit, rolling pin and can only heal using food you cooked yourself. Your goal is to cook every single food recipe and to do the nuka world quest to unlock to weaponized soda as your ultimate weapon. That way you have reasons to go out and do stuff beyond the main quest and the ability to work towards a late game power up.
I know you asked about the rolling pin play through but honestly I’d want to watch just about almost any play throughs that you’d make
Here's a challenge for you. Can you beat Skyrim as Artemis, the goddess of the hunt? You would play as a female Imperial. Your outfit will be hide armor, with the Savior's Hide you get from Hircine. Your weapon would be the golden bow you get from the Saints and Seducers pack.
Your main objectives are to hunt one of every kind of animal and monster, and beat the main story line to hunt Alduin.
i still don't get why he took the cannibal perk, that's just breaking the rules of the challenge
something about this man is just so chill, makes me just happy ya know?
You can get the cryolator early by taking dog meat down to the vault, bring him as close as you can to it, and command him to look for items. He will simply take it out of the case and afterwards it will be found in his inventory along with some ammo
Love your videos! Always happy when I see them uploaded. And rolling pin would be awesome.
