REPAIRING MY CRASH DAMAGED BMW 520D LCI (PART 4)

Welcome back to the channel and the latest episode on the BMW 5 series.

In this one we make great progress, we go for the first drive and find some more work to do :( that leads us onto replacing the rear wheel bearing, I had to remove the whole hub and driveshaft as I couldn't find the right socket. The driveshafts are often seized in these hubs so it can also make separating them much easier anyway.
We take a closer look at the warnings/faults we have with the pedestrian protection system and the airbag and get those all sorted ready for the mot.
We managed to get all those other bits required finished and the car passed its mot! that meant I could finally start turning my attention to getting the interior back to a good standard.
Finally we say goodbye to the car for a little while whilst we get it sent off to the bodyshop to have all the exterior issues taken care of.
