Bought a 2013 520d m sport touring. This video has been really helpful as it has most functions as this one. However mine is a manual transmission which I prefer, Great information video Thanks. 😂

The Auto Hill is the best button on there, its not only for hills but hold the car if you are at the redlight and you dont have to keep your foot at the brake. And you didnt explain the button for keep the air in, really wanted to know what the automatic button does for the "keeps the air out" button.
Or in my case drive through you can leave it in d and it keeps hand brake applied.

Great Handover Video! It's a shame that many dealerships don't take the time to walk people through these particulars. There were some things that I didn't know suck has the positive and negative posts under the hood (bonnet) Perhaps on another video you could walk through setting up driver profiles. Your pace is good and relatable. VERY well done!

Before anyone goes f10 shopping, don't be fooled by this video. An average one wouldn't have most things he showed and sat nav half the size. And this one is an M sport, so the seats, wheels and bumpers etc are different too as well as buts you can't see. Hope this helps someone

Great video dude! Ordered a 2016 F10 getting delivered this month. First time BMW owner. This video gave me most of the knowledge I need to get in my car day 1 and feel good. Any differences between this 2015 and the 2016s?
Enjoy the new car! Not a lot of differences. They were on the run out before the new model. I prefer the drive of these though 👌
Wow I got this car for student driving and it only came with the m sport package but none of these advanced features which keep you safe especially for new drivers, my next may be a fully loaded 535i if I can find one used

Good question. It's not actually a button. It is the interior temperature sensor 👍

Great information. Love my 535i M. Technology is second to none. Now BMW needs to figure out how to stop all the oil leaks that BMWs are known for. 🤬
Great video, I noticed I don’t have a few of the features like.. hud display, lane assisting heated steering wheel,touch pad controller,I have a 2011 535i, is there anyway to unlock some of these features for mines?
Unfortunately you'd need so many additional sensors and modifications for everything you've listed it wouldn't make financial sense

auto hold, no hill hold. press it when in a traffic jam and you can release the brake. the car doesnt move till you press the gas pedal. Thanks for the vid anyway! gettin my f10 LCI in a few weeks :D
The Auto H isn’t actually for hills it has a Hill Start Assist system whatever it’s called, that button actually holds the brakes allowing for the driver to remove their foot from the brake pedal

I'm pretty sure it did. Some of the BMWs only worked on the Touring models but I think this had the 'smart opener'
Hi, is there a way to change the time size? for some poeple, it is hard for them to see the time and I was looking to see how to make it bigger or at least different form/style (like the clock instead of digital numbers). Also, what is the buttom (all the way tot he right) next to "blind spot " button (it shows i----car). 19:43. thanks
I'm not sure on the clock size. The other button you mention is the adaptive cruise control. The specific icon is the distance that you follow the car in front. Hope that helps 👌
@@ForecourtFilms didn't u mix up the lane departure and switching lane collision button? As you showed at the screen it showed that the left button is for collision warning and the third button is for keeping in the lane (lane assist)

Hi. It has led lighting throughout but I think I'm right in saying that you only ever have a choice of two colours. So yes it does, but it's not particularly configurable

Hi. Thanks for your comments. No night vision on this one. I've had it on a previous generation 5 series. I think it's the head up display icon you may have seen

Its all most like my f10 2015 4cil. Only that it doent have is the cámara and the head display, and some other two fuctions it doent have but I LOVE my f10 2015😊

At the time it was around £21,000. Now it is probably closer to £24,000!

They are for options that don't come standard. It's quite rare to find a car with this level of specification.
Watched tge whole video to find out about a button i have in my car. You literally talk about everything but that particular button. I am talking about the one under the MODE button next to the radio on/off switch
Thanks for watching, sorry I didn’t cover it. If it’s the button with 2 cars on it, it is the traffic programme for the radio. It will interrupt media or other radio stations with traffic reports. Hope that helps. James
lots of false and missing information here. Confused lane departure warning with lane change warning, confused Auto hold with Auto Hill brake (which it doesn'T even have as an automatic), didn't go into detail about traffic jam assist and automatic steering...
Patronising. Assuming someone doesn’t know how to use the most basic features as in wipers, lights and indicators etc 😴
Interesting thought. This video was intinally a personal video for a gentleman that was treating himself as a retirement present during covid when we weren't able to demonstrate the controls in person. I wanted to cover everything for him and the video has proved to be helpful for many others.
How many cars you have you handed over to new owners?
@@ForecourtFilms I’m sure the gentleman is capable of working out how to unlock the doors and use the wipers, headlights and indicators. I’m sure appreciated being shown how to use the various optional extras the car has. I’ve personally handed over 100s of vehicles and have never needed to show anyone how an indicator stalk operates 😴
@@DoubleG79234 He was coming out of a small hatchback that didn't have lane change indicators. I've shown over 3000 people their new cars and tailor the handover based on the car they currently have or their experience. If you're so clued up, why are you even watching the video?

Please cut your nails but apart from that the video was very helpful. What would also be helpful is if you mention what feature is an optional extra as you go on.

Surely the length of his nails is none of your concern? Great video. I had a 530GT a few years back and it was nice to get re-ordinated with it (thinking of getting a 525 Touring).
