It's sad the game is often broken depending on which faction you use such as harvester errors or auto winning with certain units in the risk style game.
You know, I just had a thought. The goals of the Reaper and Traveler cults seem like they are often opposed. In a human society this would lead to conflict between cults, but I wonder if the Traveler cult’s emphasis on subterfuge means that they manipulate other Scrin cults to avoid conflict among their own kind.
Traverler-59 is yuri army in C&C3 , wit the mind-control units , or compare Scrin wit Xen Alien Controller of half life , the Cultist look like Headcrabs of half life .
Yeah the art team probably took inspiration from Half Life for the Cultists. The spawns are actually just the Prodigy unit connected upside down on the humans.
Weird, considering that they have the same aircraft as normal scrins. The only differnce is that the normal scrin got the shield Upgrade will traveler got a speed Upgrade.
It's also weird that the Hexapod is associated with Travel-59 when for them it's a strong unit but kind of cumbersome to go with their mobility focused playstyle. Reaper-17 by contrast relies heavily on it as they are build for outgrinding their enemy and their shard launchers are the perfect escort. They also lack the devastator warships which means they rely on the Hexapod for artillery support. The main units of Reaper-17 like the Devourer tank and reaper tripod are also fairly slow so for them the low speed of the Hexapod is not a problem.
@@MrMarinus18 I mean to be fair, the Hexapod is built on the battlefield rather than brought but if you must rationalize it, they want to have an anvil for their hammer :)
I think the second Scrin invasion of Earth can go in many ways. If Nod and/or GDI found a way to destroy the threshold tower, this will prevent the invasion from ever happening all together. But if they weren't able to destroy the threshold tower then the invasion will happen, so: If before the time of the invasion, GDI succeeded in defeating Nod and using their sonic weapons to purify Earth of Tiberium, then the Scrin invaders will have to deal with a unified Earth devoid of Tiberium which they may just leave and never decide to invade in the first place. If Nod won before the Scrin invasion and succeeded in 'embracing' Tiberium, then the Scrin will have to deal with a unified Earth that has full control of its massive Tiberium supply and Tiberium-based arsenal and is ready to use it. But if the Tiberium wars just kept going and nor Nod or GDI were able to decisively win, then the Scrin will have to deal with both Nod and GDI which probably will unite temporarily against them (from past experience). But if they didn't, the Scrin will have a much easier time taking over with their full might that didn't exist in the first invasion.
Well the first invasion was by a mining group not a proper army. I suspect if series continued I'd be a twist Kane was some type of alien and went to get some reinforcements at the end
Wouldn't be much of a twist. Maybe the final mission would be to deploy an unconventional tiberium weapon on the tower to cut off their invasion. They did specify it was immune to conventional weaponry.
@@codyarcher3263 The other issue is that Kane is interested in the Scrin. The Scrin were also interested in Kane because he saw Tiberium as the future for humanity which meant he was willing to aid the Scrin Indirectly in tera forming Earth. He also used the threshold tower with some his followers to take the Tiberium off world to presumably to Scrin territory. This might also prevent a second invasion of earth as Kane return all the Tiberium to the Scrin basically and hypothetically could meet with the Scrin Overlord and Learn from each other and possibilities they could use for Tiberium. But this could also forge an alliance that would end in both factions getting even at GDI with a new invasion force and with kanes experience he could give the scrin a road map on to effectively conquer humanity and turn earth in tiberium rich wasteland again. Or Kane along with scrin ended up being some strange test to see humanities resolve and that humanity is needed help to against so other unknown threat that even the Scrin need help with. And that Kane if some how was an other worldly being. Making his Terrorist Organization a sorta psuedo threat test how resilient humanity is and that he wanted the scrin to come to earth with its mining force as a final test for humanity. Once Humanity succeeded he would later than use the tower to remove the infestation of tiberium back to scrin occupied space. But this was all done with out the Scrin or GDI knowing. The First theory and second theory seems more plausible. But it just seems weird that Kane was fanatical about Tiberium as humanities future. But then decides eventually to take all the Tiberium off earth via a portal and allow Earth to revive itself and return to its formal and natural carbon based state. Seems odd to me lol.
[[[***NON CANON***]]] This is just a game theory but with Nod and Kane in control of Threshold 19, doesn't that mean they have access to a massive teleportation network? The Scrin Threshold towers are designed for harvesting vast quantities of Tiberium (ichor) from a planet and act as interstellar gateways. With Nod in control of the last tower on Earth they have an enormous edge over GDI. Technically speaking they could already be attempting to infiltrate through the portals. Maybe Nod tried but reached an impassable obstacle. They needed the Tacitus in order to successfully operate the portal network, and understand the Scrin as a whole. In 2052 they attacked the Cheyenne Mountain Tacitus Facility and reacquired the Tacitus Data Matrix. In 2052 Kane is able to achieve ascension. The problem now is ''How does Nod get past the Scrin?''. They could probably be attempting to invade through the Threshold 19 portal network with the Marked of Kane. Through that, The Brotherhood Of Nod are probably becoming an interstellar society, whilst GDI is stuck trying to clean up Earth and prepare for a massive Scrin Invasion. We only have cancelled games to go by but in the Tiberium FPS; the Scrin invade in 2058. The war was apparently going to be on a galactic scale. Westwoods Tiberium Incursion allegedly has Nod as a background faction where GDI, Mutants, and Scrin are the main factions with CABAL returning in an Expansion Pack. Also at the time of Tiberium Incursion, the world is mostly cleaned up of Tiberium. If CNC3 is anything to go by then EALA's storyline and setting is not too disimilar from what Westwood originally had in mind... But take into consideration: EALA's lack of creativity and love for CNC... The Tacitus apparently enables one to control Tiberium itself. What if Nod or GDI create their own mock up of the Tiberium concept, therein no longer having to rely on the substance as a resource?
I'd wager that the Scrin would just bring their full forces to bare first, the first invasion failed because they tried starting out small and trying to weaken their enemies from the inside of their own bases, since that didn't work their likely going to play it a bit safer and blast the major bases around the world from orbit then swoop in to mop up any survivors followed up by setting up their own base of operations.
The problem is the Scrin intended to harvest large amounts of it, and as shown in game, they were surprised on how "young" the Tiberium was. Earth wasn't ready for harvesting like they initially thought. Humans weren't supposed to be an issue if Kane hadn't lured them to Earth prematurely.
When your figure out the scrin you fight were only a harvesting unit. That's fucking terrifying. We weren't fighting their military but their workforce. Yet they still almost had us on our knees.
