I have the mini pro 3 and can honestly say that it can withstand some strong gust of winds! Of course it being a smaller drone it does tend to get a bit shaky if the wind gets too strong.. but other than that it’s a fun and durable drone!

I got my truck back, its got a huge dent in it and i didnt know my insurance had just lapsed so im not covered for any of it😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 the only thing that really helps me get over the death of my little brother!! This is what we used to do back when drones were just becoming a thing!! we used to make our own Rc flying contraptions, now he is gone!! When he left, I took my DJI spark and was gonna throw it in the river and decided to fly it instead and from that day foward, everytime I sent mine up, I think of my little brother!! The way his eyes would light up when he would fly his drone, it was and still is something special to me and him, we just love anything that flies!!
I almost have the same set up. Mavic 3 Classic and Mini 3. I was happy with my Fimi X8SE 2022 V2 but I want a smaller drone to travel with. I got a great deal on the Mini 3 and once I flew a DJI I never flew the Fimi again. Two weeks ago sold it and bought Mavic.
The Mavic 3 are a real workhorse! I have a Mavic 3 enterprise RTK & can't always choose the days to fly, if a client say you must do the work (in this case mine mapping) on a specific date, then it's make or break. I've mapped areas in 19m/s winds without issues. Flying a little slower though...😀 And using much more batteries!🤭
I seriously considered the Air 3 because it has the newest Technology. I Ultimately decided to go with the Mavic 3 because of the build. It is a beast!!!

First time ever flying my MINI 3 (or a drone at all for that matter) 10 minutes into flying, huge wind gusts not only took that puppy 100 meters higher than my limit, but disconnected from my controller and died 😂 my stomach was so sick, especially since I got it as a gift. But so thankful for the Find My Drone feature, it ended up being 4 miles away at the literal edge of where the grass and the water met at a water reservoir near where I live, and the gate to the reservoir just happened to be open. Can’t get any luckier, I live in the mountains and there’s HEAVY forestation all around 😩
just today had my M3P in some really strong ocean gusts, i'm sitting here right now editing the footage and you'd never be able to tell how badly that ship was getting whipped around. DJI you guys knocked it outta the pack on this ship 👏👏 the only thing i don't love about my M3P is the gimbal 'bucking' when shooting straight downwards. it's compromised several otherwise-great shots, and wish it performed like my previous Mavic 3. any thoughts/workarounds for this? be glad to share an example clip with you for reference.
In case anyone's wondering, I've a Mini 2 and it can handle the wind. But your gimbal will sometimes dip downwards if you're flying against the wind. And the battery will drain faster than how long you last in bed.
DJI sold me a mavic 3 pro that crashed by not detecting obstacles even though I used the return home button of a drone whose sensors were not working 😂 And instead of a small replacement of a few parts, they charged me for a new device, do you still buy DJI products???
Be careful, all the views, the battery drains very fast in such conditions and even the drone tends to fly away. I have been a professional drone pilot for the past 8 years. Flown almost all dji drones.
These things are so hot and miss. I've flown the mavic 3 pro in high winds and it was super stable, I've also had it fly HARD into a cliff face with no input.
I'm an idiot. After it left his hand and you couldn't see the drone anymore, I thought he lost it. I thought the end was footage of him with his hands up on the ridge, thinking "noooooo.... it crashed to the valley floor below!" It seemed like beautifully-shot aerial footage of a sad scene. 🙈 😂
DJI must find a solution for drone batteries that have not been used for a long time (more than 1 month), because the problem with DJI drones that have not been used for a long time (only stored) will become bloated and damaged. Because the price for battery replacement is quite expensive, especially for older DJI drones.
I own the Mini2, Air2s, Mavic 3 (non Pro) All with the flymore pack (3 batts) Not a single battery has become bloated, you are doing something wrong. A huge amount of people would be complaining if the battery was at fault during storage. They are smart batteries, they auto discharge to around 60% when stored
Even though im surprised, I would never launch my expensive drone under such conditions
DJI care refresh will take that fear away

I flew mine in similar wind. It would only fly 12 mph agains the wind, full power, sport mode. But it still took smooth footage

Sorta the same and now DJI won't cover the fly away that I payed for. The refresh did not work for me at all and I bought the 2 year with it.
