I remember this day well because my mother missed one of the trains by seconds because she'd stopped to put her ticket away. I dread to think what would've happened if she'd rushed and gotten on that train. I remember being in school and seeing it all unfold, panicking because I know my mother takes one of those routes, my teacher allowing me to have my phone on so I can try and contact her but I couldn't because the lines were all busy. Then getting a message through my school's reception and a teacher bringing me a scribbled message on a sticky note.
"I'm ok, I missed the train. Going to be home late tonight, please order food and I will pay you back when I get home. - Mum"
I still have that note in my scrapbook.

I particularly feel for Muhammed Jamil who ran into the tunnel to help rescue the public, knowing that the perpetrators did their deed in the name of his religion. You can see in his face the despondency he feels. I wonder if he suffered any abuse because of his beliefs. I would hope most people would appreciate the difference between the extremist terrorists and those like Muhammed who are people of peace and go above and beyond to help others in distress.

As someone who loves London and the London Underground, this is painful to watch.
It's such a glorious city and such a beautiful place to experience, disrupting it seems like such a waste.
But most of all, I cannot fathom how people can be so influenced by anything, let alone the fairytale that is religion, to randomly go out and kill people. I don't blame them, people are easily pushed to do things. It's the ones that taught them that this is the way to go that are the true murderers.

    • @johnnyrotten8801
      @johnnyrotten8801 5 років тому +2

I get what your saying but I have to disagree ...... They haven't been influenced or brainwashed at all .... They listened to their teachers / preachers and still had the choice and thought process to go out and do it knowing it was wrong ...... To be brainwashed is impossible because at some point you still have that choice like you do in everyday life ...... You have a brain to think and a conscience to decide ....your brain tells you what to do and your conscience tells whether what you are doing is right or wrong ..... All terrorists have a conscience and they all know what they're doing is wrong ..... Being brainwashed has nothing to do with it...... You can be brainwashed as a child but not as an adult.

    • @rollingtroll

@@rollingtroll yes but the german citizens wernt brainwashed by Hitler because Hitler back then was the fuhrer of Germany which meant that he was representing the law of his country (president) so if those citizens turned against him they were logically turning against their own country therefore being traitors in the Eyes of Hitler and the whole country so if they didn't want to end up in jail or killed they had to follow his rules no matter what.... So nobody was brain washed but controlled ...just like north Korea today......also id like to say that from when you are a baby you are born into that sort of environment and your environment shapes your personality this is called nurture ...and nurture and brainwashed are two different things 😉....terrorists know what they are doing and they haven't been brainwashed and alls they are doing is justifying their actions by blaming politics or religion for their actions ...... 7/7 was an inside job:
      1) peter power was running an exercise drill on the same day, 3 station and 1 bus that blew up.
      2) the trains from luton to london was cancelled so they could not have done this at the time it happened
      3) the CCTV weren't working
      4) the 4 bombers were shot dead by police in canary wharf
      5) bombs were planted underneath the carriages
      6) a controlled demolition van near the bus that blew up

Edgware Road has always been my favourite station. The beautiful flowers and plant are especially what I love. It's a beautiful cross of when Underground meets Overground. Watching this and hearing even more backstory about this station has truly cemented my idea, and how I feel an overwhealming sense of nostalgia every time I visit. It was the first ever Underground sation I remember visiting, and anytime I think of London or where something is I always have to picturre in relation to Edgware Road.

Some terrorists blew up 3 tube trains in the morning, and then a double decker bus an hour later.
They were supporters of Al Qaeda, who carried out the attacks because, to paraphrase "the democratically elected British government continuously carries out horrific atrocities towards innocent people in the Middle East, and seeing as you support the democratically elected British government, you deserve to be punished".
