Young Guns and Tombstone are 2 "old" (My daughter's words🤬) westerns that e1 should see. Tombstone (IMHO) is a masterpiece. It’s from Young Guns and it’s the theme song. The producers originally wanted to use Dead or Alive but Jon said he could write a better song for them. Love the lyrics to this song.
Let's not forget "I'll make ya famous." Or my favourite "He was hacking on me." I especially love when they're all sitting around after dinner, reading and Billy shows them all up. Looking back, it's crazy all the actors that were in these movies. Love Young Guns.

What's funny is two-three years later, him and his band (this is his solo project you're listening to) went on a mountain to shoot the music video for Bed of Roses. Young Guns actually one of my favorite westerns this movie has some of my favorite movie lines "I'll make you famous". This movie was a big part to some long careers. Lou Diamond Phillips, Emilio Estevez, Charlie Sheen, Kiefer Southerland, Dermot Mulroney and Casey Siemaszko are the MC's. The 3 amigos another great movie but it's a comedy about westerns Martin Short, Steve Martin and Chevy Chase you cracked me up saying this movie.

The movie: Young Guns 2: Blaze of Glory It was partly based on the testimony of Brushy Bill Roberts who spent his entire life trying to convince people e was Billy The Kid. (After he died, DNA proved he wasnt.) The film was a Who's Who of Young Hollywood of the 80's Emilio Estevez, Kiefer Sutherland, Lou Diamond Phillips, and Christian Slater, and William Petersen all starred in it. Jon Bon Jovi had a cameo role in it.
Emilio Estevez played Billy the Kid. Movie was Young Guns. This was the soundtrack. Jon Bon Jovi played in the opening scene but was gunned down! 😭. ❤️❤️❤️.
"Young Guns"was the start of the new generation of westerns. I'm old, I went to the theater and seen both of these. I still own the 'VHS' versions, and walking 'VCR'.
Young Guns 2. The star of the film, Emilio Estevez, and John were friends and Emilio asked him to write a song for this movie. John also has a very quick cameo (if ya blink ya miss it). Fun fact: John’s real name is John Francis Bongiovi, Jr. (he’s half Italian). The group name is a different spelling, but same pronunciation.
I only got the notification about this a week late, but I’m here now! Thank you y’all for giving me a shout out! I’m sure since I’m late y’all already have found out the movie is young guns
This was written for "Young Guns 2". They wanted to use "Wanted Dead or Alive. However Jon wanted to write something that referred to each character in some way.
The movie was Young Guns 2. Jon Bon Jovi actually makes a Cameo in the movie. He's in the scene where Billy is breaking Doc and Chaves out of the pit and Jon climbs out of the pit and gets shot
Emilio Estevez played Billy The Kid. But alot of great actors in these movies. Dermot Mulroney, Charlie Sheen,Kiefer Sutherland, Balthazar Getty,William Peterson (CSI),Christian Slater......... I could go on forever. Two of my favorite movies.
This was from Young Guns 2 the obvious continuation from the better of the two Young Guns that had a young star studded cast. Emilio and Charlie, Lou Diamond Phillips, Keifer Sutherland, Dermot Mulroney and Jack Palance to name the major names. Fun fact, the beginning line from Warren G’s “Regulate” came from the original Young Guns movie when they were teaching the new boys at the ranch.
Young Guns. Last era of all star casts. The producers asked Jon to use 'Dead or Alive'. He said , no, I'll write a new one for this. I like this song more myself.
Emilio Estevez hear Bon Jovi’s song Wanted Dead Or Alive and called him to see if he could do a song for Young Guns 2 about Billy The Kid and Jon end up doing the whole soundtrack! I love ❤️ Jon and I love the band Bon Jovi, how about there song Bed Of Roses! Jon has wrote a lot a of great songs and some of them were with his lead guitarist Richie Sambora!

It was partly based on the testimony of Brushy Bill Roberts who spent his entire life trying to convince people e was Billy The Kid. (After he died, DNA proved he wasnt.)
The film was a Who's Who of Young Hollywood of the 80's Emilio Estevez, Kiefer Sutherland, Lou Diamond Phillips, and Christian Slater, and William Petersen all starred in it.
I am so happy you guys are reaching to this song and video. It's my favorite song from Bon Jovi
I absolutely love this journey back to being 14!!! I still listen to bon jovi. My kids love it too!!!!
He totally won an award for this album
Best soundtrack fro a movie
Half and Jai: "Whats this movie?"
Bon Jovi: "YOUNGGGG GUNNNS!"
I was thinking the same thing 🤣🤣🤣
The song is in countless films when people don't have a chance but won't lie down that's the meaning even a real life saying from old wars
It's in the lyric..call me " young gun" (s)...good movie!
And this song was the perfect one for it.
As others have stated, name of the song is Blaze of Glory and the name of the movie is Young Guns. There is also a young Guns 2 sequel ..
I love westerns and I do owe it to watching Young Guns when I was little. Been hooked ever since.
That was just too funny that Jon Bon Jovi kept saying the name of the movie repeatedly in the lyrics :)
The movie young. Guns. About billy the kid.
The whole Young Guns Sound Track is pretty good.. Bon Jovi is very talented..
This movie and the songs brought me into the music of Jon Bon Jovi.
I only got the notification about this a week late, but I’m here now! Thank you y’all for giving me a shout out! I’m sure since I’m late y’all already have found out the movie is young guns
LMAO, love it when they are thinking of the name of the movie...and the song immediately says "call me Young Gun"...I get it, but it's just funny
Young Guns is also where they got the opening to Regulators ...."we regulate any stealing of this property......we're damn good too"
This was written for "Young Guns 2".
I loved the Young Guns movies as a kid and had this soundtrack on cassette.
Young Guns. Last era of all star casts. The producers asked Jon to use 'Dead or Alive'. He said , no, I'll write a new one for this. I like this song more myself.
@Sherri2008 I was just the right age where I knew and apprecialted both generations.
My boy won a Golden Globe for this album....little trivia...he also has a small part in the movie! Young Guns baby!
Bob Jovi is one of my favourite bands. This song is awesome and Young Guns was a cool movie, happy you guys are reacting
"I'll make ya famous!"
You forgot "Yoo hoo!" 😜
How about "hi Bob, Bang, bye Bob best dollar eighty I ever spent.
Did you see the size of that, chicken!!!!!!!!
Why arnt they shooting at us.........cause we're in the spirit world asshole.........GREAT MOVIE!!!!!!!!
Youn Guns 2. Jon Bon Jovi, the man, not the band, did the sound track. Y'all keep doing stuff like this man. I love it. 🔥
Jon Bon Jovi actually had a small cameo part in Young Guns. You have to keep an eye out for him, though, or you'll miss it.
One of the best movie lines ever. "Yoohoo" "I'll make ya famous"
Every time I see/hear this I want to watch Young Guns! Young Guns 2 is my favourite of the two.
