Her drinking. Travel coffee mugs, flasks hidden in
Bathrooms. She’s a serious alcoholic.
There is NO EXCUSE under the sun to drink and drive drunk with kids in the car
Kids are in other cars too. Kids walk in the streets. Kids have parents that drive. There is no excuse period. The potential for massive and dire consequences is always there.
In my opinion, alcohol should have been illegal and demonized instead of pot.
"Literally, I'm just like literally [sentence ends]..."
We of the Like Literally Society would like to claim her.
😂😂😂
Yea I hate when they literally say that with every statement they make lol
😂😂Done, she’s all yours
"I haven't hit anything" -> The rear of her car looks like an accordion
🤣 Funny comment terrible situation!
That’s the highest BAC I’ve ever seen! I’d be dead!
Yep - most of us would.
Honestly, the patience these officers have is admirable. Basically wrangling adult toddlers 😢 i hope all these women get help
I love that she has the audacity to try and make demands of the officers after driving drunk with her children.
The patience of every officer in all of these clips is astounding! Addiction is terrible no matter the substance but I often think how difficult it must be to fight the temptation against alcohol because it is so easily accessible. Maybe that sounds ignorant but growing up with a father who was both an addict & alcoholic, every relapse began with alcohol & I believe that accessibility played a huge role. Regardless it’s no excuse!!
I agree. 💯% Considering the amount of damage it causes it shouldn't be legal! I think in some circumstances it's far worse than hard drugs! The amount of lives that alcohol destroys is terrifying!
Prohibition wasn't the answer when it was tried earlier in the States.
Morgan and Morgan, the ultimate ambulance chasers.
It's like literally. You know, literally
School officer doing gentle parenting
“I’m not drunk. I’m intoxicated.”
I wish the cops would stop calling drink/driving a mistake, IT'S CRIMINAL AND ENDS LIVES.
That’s a really common de-escalation technique to keep people calm.
The last one, it really gets me how she was so concerned about where her son was and yet she was going to drive him home whilst drunk, putting both their lives at risk!
Logic doesn’t shake hands with addiction
@@heatherdowhaluk2128 Yes, sadly that is so true :(
"I'm not drunk, im intoxicated..."😂
"Don't let my daughters see me get arrested because I don't want to traumatize her"....
That last cop was awesome. Super patient, super kind and high fived 😅
Melissa's husband showing up in a Brewery sweat shirt was a nice touch!
I recently read a shocking statistic that most people charged with dui have driven 50-80x drunk before getting pulled over.
That’s the tragedy of it. So many deaths because there aren’t really any repercussions from being stopped. They drive without a license, license has been suspended, they don’t have a breathalyzer in their car to,keep, them from driving. It’s really highway roulette.
Melissa you’re not a “recovering alcoholic”. You’re an Alcoholic. That’s not the problem. Problem is endangering others.
First to comment!!! Random note. But why do all DWI arrestees always claim TWO drinks or TWO glasses lol… like PLEASE.. you are stumbling all over the place
It's so true 😂🤌🏽
Statistically it’s true 🤷♀️
Because two is the legal limit.
That lady must have uncontrolled diabetes cause you’re supposed to check every day a couple of times a day.
When will parents realize that the trauma starts when they drive their kids home drunk.
.369 is insane...she is definitely still drinking a lot.
This is happening right now, all over the place. Substance abuse disorder is rampant and it does not discriminate. It’s not just for voyeurism, it’s a sad and serious issue for families that needs dedicated attention and resources.
SHE GOT ONE YEAR OF PROBATION AND LOST HER LICENSE FOR 6 MONTHS?!??!? I know ppl who lost their license for 3 speeding tickets in 5 years. Like what in the actual fck??!?! is going on with the American justice system?!?!?
And she violated it, just like they knew she would when your BAC is that high
“Being late to work isn’t an excuses to speed, I’m revoking your license”
“Look, I get times are tough and we all make mistakes, I’ll tell you what, I’ll just suspend your license for six months just as long as you promise me you’ll never do this again, ok?”
Yeah really sounds logical!!
Horrible mother number one ... I do not understand why three of the child endangerment charges were dropped! Does three of those children in that car not matter!!!!!
If I was the parents of those children I would be filing a civil lawsuit.
These women are NO moms, they don’t deserve such a worthy title !!!!
WOW, she blew a .369 BAC, more than 4.5 times the legal limit. I’d literally be dead if I blew that as a non-drinker. What a LIAR, claiming she only had ONE glass of wine. I’ve watched hundreds and hundreds of bodycam videos here, and that Is the highest reading I’ve ever seen.
If my child was in that vehicle, I would have pursued this.
Ohio is another slap on the wrist state. Suspended 6 month jail sentence? And she didn’t abide by the conditions of her case?? 🤬
The lady at the end who said “hi fives!” and the officer actually giving her one took me out!!! Some officers are so cool and funny. He made her feel like she was rocking it out and she was all the way gone. 😂😂
Who gets hammered and thinks, "I need a salad right this exact moment!"😂
Right?! lol
drunk people 🤣
@@GdGllyMolly and she sloooowly puts it down as if that’s the problem. 😂
That used to be my drunk meal of choice actually… 😣
My thoughts exactly, guess she's looking out for her diabetes that she doesn't test every week.
*Isn't that a daily thing
Not for nothing but eating a salad and driving don't go together for those of us that are sober.😊
People really need to consider the consequences will be more expensive than the Uber they should’ve called
That first lady… She blew a .369!! That’s not a “mistake” as the officer put it, that is a death wish!!😱😱
1:04:45 - she acts as though the police couldn’t care less about her child but she is the one who turns up hammered to collect him, so she is the one who couldn’t care less about her kid.
This is so sick and flat out sad!!! 😢😡
Did that woman just say she has problems with money😂💀
please dont tell my soon to be ex-husband, that I was drinking again and got into an accident with our kids in the car.
Never mind. I just saw her do the breath test. she's a keeper. Though probably shouldn't drive anymore.
Uhh she was .33 in the last clip?? Holy crap man that would kill a non alcoholic
She was actually higher than that even! .369!
During my alcoholism I had a BAC of 3.6 in the hospital after hours of waiting-who knows what it was at the peak.
To be a 0.36 you have to drink a crap ton. College kids who get transported to the hospital are usually around .3
30:48 Just casually eating a salad, in the driver's seat, talking to police.
If they can't follow directions they're intoxicated
The dwi penalty’s are a joke. They are free until they kill someone, then barely any jail time.
“I’m here to help you” 😂😂 What they mean is hun you getting arrested and we’re going to help you rack up about $3k if not more in legal fees and fines
You’re in a terrible place right now.. So that justifies driving drunk? You’re worried about your daughter seeing you getting handcuffed? You’re lucky your daughter is alive to see it and not laying dead as a result of an accident caused by you!
From 21 minutes in I think the police are marvellous. The delicate way they handle the driver is absolutely amazing. Top marks!
Of course driving with kids in the car while you're intoxicated is bad but you also need to assumed when you don't have kids in your car that others do.
0.369 BAC! 🤯🤯🤯 I hope that she's in treatment.
She’s definitely not a recovering alcoholic she’s an alcoholic
@@anonomas6126 💯 I'm a recovering alcoholic and I think that I'd die if I drank that much after 5 years of sobriety.
The first one? She drove drunk again and ended up in jail and alcoholics program.
@@carolsummers8734 I hope that she takes the program seriously and stays sober. My Dad just got a DWI and I'm hoping that they force him into inpatient rehabilitation and never give him his license back. Repeat offenders should only get their licenses back after years of sobriety.
First lady holds her booze really well never would have thought her BAC was that high.
