That's Dorothy Gale all over; she has this amazing ability to make friends. Nearly everyone she meets ends up being her friend, even some characters who started out as bad guys, like Ugu the Shoemaker.
Omg this was so beautiful ❤❤ I absolutely love it, I very much liked how the two weren’t in competition with each other, it was so lovely. I want a movie with this premise.
Playing them back to back, it's clear The Wiz has more powerful tracks. I love both, but I think the wiz is stronger. Edit: Nothing from the Wizard of Oz ever made me cry. And for the most part, I didn't cry listening to The Wiz. But Diana Ross and Stephanie Mills performances of Home did make me cry, and this rendition didn't fail either.
There are other stage adaptations of the story, and I'd love to see some of them worked in. One that I like better than either the MGM musical or "The Wiz" is called "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz," and was created by Joe Cascone and the late James P. Doyle in 2000. This is great, but I wish there was more interaction between the two sets of characters, and certainly more than a token appearance by the Wizards. "But most of it was beautiful!"
Anyone here for Rob McClure (Beetlejuice), Joshua Henry (previously, Ragtime), Brynn Williams (13), Andrew Keenan Bolger (Newsies), or Jennie Harney Fleming (Hamilton)?
Loved it all except Evillene. smdh 🤔 Nope nope nope. Poor choice of casting. I wanted to see a female and not a damn man with a beard and muscles. Totally ruined it for me so I'm gonna have to give this one to The Wizard of OZ team.
I imagined that two dorothys met each other than became best friends and hug to each other.
What about the two Scarecrows, the two Tin Mans, and the two Lions?
Keep finding things to love about this. I love both lions first of all. Jitterbug. The wicked witches. The Dorothys hugging

Beautiful! Very moving in their similarites and their differences and in the assimilation of both versions!
Great, isn't it? Now, if they could have just worked in your version. 🙂
Wicked witch of the west: I will get you my pretty and your little dog too
Evillene: I'm gone nope
I am watched this a thousand times
The fabulous Kaitlyn M 5:41 Dorothy gale:JUDY GARLAND? VS DIANNA ROSSSS???
@@zpozuniverse4562 More like Stephanie Mills.
This was a beautiful homage to the different versions of Oz people have come to love. ♥️✨
Only two versions; there are so many others. 🙂

Report to the Wizard for a heart at once!
@@MaskedMan66 Did you read the second part of my comment, post edit?
@@TheNotverysocial I quoted it.
@@MaskedMan66 Here I am missing humor again.
Kate Rockwell has such a stunning voice & fits Dorothy so well. ❤
What can I say? except: BEYOND AWESOME!!!!!!
Omg this was AMAZING! 🥰🌈👠✨
the ending is so sad but mostly because the songe home is sung so good
Not sad as such, but the sort of beauty that makes people cry.
I LOVE THIS SO MUCH
Fantastic rendition

I have heard of that one. I’d like to see it. There’s also Wicked.
@@h193013 Mention that aberration not!
@@MaskedMan66 Wicked is my favorite musical
@@h193013 The music itself is good, but deserved a better story to be attached to.
This video is so very relevant right now.
?
Interesting fusion on both parts
Wow!!! This is so great! 😍
omg I LOVE this!!!😍🙌
The wiz is better in my opinion
BUT NONETHELESS THIS TRIBUTE WAS SO AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL, AND WE'LL DONE!!!
4:40 that judgy state from the wicked witch
Bruh i'm glad i wasn't the only one who noticed. Evilene is the theater friend. XD XD XD
"Judgy state?"
This is GREAT!
I love this
Just noticed Andrew Keenan-Bolger from Newsies at the beginning 🥹
Damn it, I was hoping they'd do "So You Wanted To Meet the Wizard!" Still, this was really good!
Erin Witcraft who wants to do this ozsome project? I do! 0:11-9:29
@@zpozuniverse4562 I'm there! RRrowff!
There are so many projects that lessen the role of-- or worse, completely omit to use-- the title character!
thank you :*:*

The Glinda’s.
Glindas.
I definitely wish there was more to the jitterbug, and was zoomed out so the whole cast was shown
