I guess no one is paying attention to how Diana Ross danced like crazy in those PUMPS she's wearing. What woman can dance like that in high heels without falling? This woman killed it in those heels! You go, Ms. Ross!!!
Ever see a Broadway musical? Most women in those shows dance in high heels -- and while Diana Ross certainly looks like she's having a lot of fun, the steps which she's doing in this scene are actually not that difficult. If you really want to see women in high heels doing difficult dance steps, watch the Can-Can dance sequence in "Moulin Rouge!" -- the reason why they don't fall is because of all the hours, days, weeks, and possibly months of practice they've put into rehearsing to the point that their bodies are almost on autopilot as a result of muscle memory. If you practice something like this enough times -- whether it be an athletic routine, a dance, or a song -- you don't even have to think about it consciously anymore. It's almost as if what you're doing has acquired a will of its own and is taking control of your body. It feels a bit odd sometimes but it's also comforting because there's less reason to worry about possibly getting something wrong.
I'm the OLD dance world we were forced to wear heavy shoes for so many hours...clogs or whatever the dance teacher deemed HEAVY them we got LIGHTER shoes...to be light on our feet??
Briken4L 4 he had to take the pills to preform, and because of his Pepsi commercial accident. Now yes he did get addicted to pain killers but that’s the only thing I don’t accept from his medications, the rest of them were prescribed because of performance issues lol.

For me personally I find this song so uplifting, especially when I’m feeling down. I know the aging up of Dorothy for this film was controversial but now looking back at my 20s I find her so much more relatable, because I feel like at that age many of us are trying to find our road just like her.
Scarecrow starting out stumbling, then dancing in the street with Dorothy is kinda poetic & awesome. For so long, he never knew the potential he had to be able to get off of that pole. The magic was inside of him all along. Damn, I feel so inspired.
Rest in Paradise to Legendary Songwriter, Record Producer, Grammy Award Winner, and Composer Extraordinaire Quincy Jones (1933-2024). Hands down, you are responsible for creating a significant portion of the soundtrack of our lives. You will be sadly missed, but your legacy remains.
I agree. However, realistically speaking: Given the drastic changes to his physical appearance over his lifetime, there weren’t too many roles he could play regardless of his acting skill. One movie I wish he was sought for is “The Return of the Living Dead” as the Black character Spider (played by Miguel Nunez Jr.). Every time I watch that, he seems like a MJ ripoff. And that movie came out in the interim between the Thriller and Bad eras
I remember watching this movie when I was 3. Completely forgot about it! It felt like a fever dream. I was Born 4 months after Michael died so I didn’t know who he was at the time. When my dad told me who he was, I became OBSESSED with that man. Still am till this day even if he isn’t here. My parents told me they’ve met Michael before when my mom was pregnant with me and my sisters ( I’m a triplet ) and told me Michael rubbed and kissed on her stomach. My dad wasn’t mad. He was actually happy cause that was Michael Jackson for gods sake! Love you so much, Michael. I wish everyday I would’ve gotten a chance to actually see you in person❤️

The critics at the time was very hard on this movie. But it's always been one of my favorites. ❤
