I love my 47mm 6 classic, but I have suffered from sleep apnea in the past. I haven't done a sleep study in years, so the new Ultra has me seriously considering the upgrade. I just wish they had kept the rotating bezel😢

I already pre-ordered the ultra trading in my 6 classic as I love it's look and size. I still like my 6 classic especially with the rotating buzzle. I will test-drive it for a few days and might return if not as expected.
I got a really good deal on the ultra, so I'm going to test drive it as well, and decide if I'm going to sell my 6 classic or the ultra after
what did you guys do, returned it or kept it? I got my ultra but battery life doesn't go beyond 24 hrs. still debating if I should keep my watch 4 classic 46mm or let go
@RahulSingh-zq5dg I absolutely love the ultra. I got the grey one, which is more like a black, and bought a no gap metal band for it and it looks amazing. Battery life was probably a bit better on my watch 6 classic, but I can't go back, the ultra just looks and feels so much better. You can always turn off some of the features to get more battery life out of it too, as it comes with everything turned on for continuous monitoring.
@@RahulSingh-zq5dg I totally eco MTobs. No going back. The ultra has way better look and feel. I got the grey with the orange band. It is so cool. Battery life is way better than the 6 classic. I can get 2 days in one charge and I workout daily. Totally love it!
No rotating bezel I'm good I love my 6 classic
I ditched my Classic 6 for the OnePlus Watch 2, way better in all the things I needed it for, that's why the Classic 6 was a trade-in for the Galaxy Ultra in the Pre-Order.
If I wanted a rotating bezel, I could've bought a chronograph watch, but in an electronic watch, I prefer the touch screen.

@ButteredToast_93 yeah I had that one too. My favorites are the s3 frontier and the s6 classic. The 5 pro wasn't bad. Now im a little nervous about the ultra because it's way different but imma try it before I knock it.

As someone that has the Galaxy watch6 classic it's janky AF when it comes to navigating on the OS. The Ultra doesn't stutter like the watch6 classic. Still love my watch6 classic and I also love the Ultra.
Those stutters are very minimal. I've normally experienced it when there's bad signal in certain areas as I drive everyday everywhere and find the maps awesome to use on the watch. Coming from a normal watch 6, just bought the 6 classic 47mm and love it. Would have it over the ultra. That rotating bezel is a godsend.
@@Facu1ty1855 Those stutters are annoying AF. Luckily for me the watch6 classic looks good enough to keep it for now. The ultra run circles around the watch6 classic though when it comes to performance.
@jamesm568 tbh, I've stopped paying full price for sammy goods. Purchased a nearly new S23 ultra 512g back in February for only £500 which was a steal. Paid £160 for the classic new. The Bluetooth version is sold out on sammys website, which can only mean a good thing. I'm sure the ultra is more pleasurable to use with it's fluidity. But would never pay what they're asking. The ultra and classic have exactly the same screen resolution which is not a worthy upgrade. And the ultra is slightly smaller which is mental! I switch my watch off and clear memory every day. It works as it should. Notifications are quick. Wish it was as quick as the ultra but not willing to pay that much extra for the experience, especially with no rotating bezel, slightly smaller screen and same resolution. Many people are sticking with their classic.
@@Facu1ty1855 I only paid $229.99 for the Ultra as Samsung was offering a $350 trade-in credit for the watch5 and the watch6 along with additional promo codes discounts. I already had a watch5 pro and a watch6 classic since the Ultra was the watch5 pro upgrade, I traded that one in for the Ultra. Like you I don't pay full price for Samsung devices as I trade them in every year or every other year depending on the deal Samsung offers. I would never pay $650 for a smartwatch that I'm going to strip every single health feature it has to offer from it. I wanted the bigger battery and better performance of the Ultra to squeeze 5 days of battery life out of it like I did with the watch5 pro.
My smart watch was the 6 Classic. I was sold and all that apps and how they would help my health. Turns out only the steps counter and the time is above 90% correct. All other apps are just there for gimmicks. Wont be purchasing another.

I am struggling right now I have a six classic 47 mm I like to watch but kind of want something new and I like to have the newest better thing you know I still owe on the watch like 200 bucks but T-Mobile has a promotion where you can get $380 24 months bill credit so that would leave me paying $270 which is a pretty good deal I think and my monthly payment would be $27 bucks roughly but my bill is already $222 so it wind up being like 2:50 somewhere around there I'm struggling man I don't know if I should do it where I still owe on the one I got my wrist and I haven't even had it a full year cuz once you go in you're stuck pretty much or you have to pay the full amount if you want to cancel but I really am struggling to I don't know what to do I'm just curious if the accuracy is better with sleep and all that stuff I just want to know more
Your answer lies with how are you using the watch. Most of the features are just there for gimmicks. Only a few activity tracking are at most 85% accurate. Sleep tracking and the rest are way off. I have the Classic and only use it for steps and time. Everything else seems fake.

@@bobby4363 oh so you bought the seven ultra and it's not what you thought it was I haven't bought it cuz I have the six classic 47 mm I love the watch and I owe $300 with T-Mobile so it wouldn't make much sense to add another damn watch line and more bills but I like having the latest and greatest I appreciate you helping me think about things more clearly cuz I would make that stupid decision
Also, Samsung takes on the Hermes H08 42mm $5,850, unlike some think it's copying that mediocrecy overpriced low grade titanium watch.

The galaxy watch ultra should have been at least 50 mm; especially since the apple watch ultra is 49 mm. Samsung never knows how to capitalize on things especially since they copied everything about the awu smh.
I purchased both the 7 and 7 ultra. I have the watch 6. I think it was over kill on my part. I think I probably going cancel the watch 7. Thanks for your review.
Lame decision
If you can handle the lag that the watch six classic has and you still like the rotating bezel then keep it. The ultra runs circles around the watch6 classic though when it comes to OS smoothness. The classic does got old school styling though.
No physical rotating bezel means no purchase. Plus the watch Ultra should have been 49mm in size and available in a golden color. Samsung failed, hopefully next year the SGW 8 Classic wiĺ be great again.
