The guy playing the Irish Bouzouki is Troy - who became a permanent member of Nightwish simultaneously with Floor in June 2013 (officially in October). Troy is a multi instrumental genius - you will see. He can literally play anything - except ice hockey he says. His main instruments are Uillean pipes, guitar, whistles and flutes - especially the Uillean pipes plus guitar with an E-bow. He also sings, and has taken partly over for Marco, after he left Nightwish.
Jukka stopped playing with the band in 2015 for health reasons, he still does work with the band doing more booking and promotion type work. The new drummer is named Kai Hahto.
Kai is Jukkas teacher and probably one of the best drummers around 😈❤️🇧🇻

Jukka is the Managing Director and Chairman of the Board of Oily Empire Ltd, Prime Line Productions Ltd, Scene Nation Ltd, and A Lovely Bunch of Coconuts Ltd which are Nightwish's companies, he runs the business engine.
That silent howl by Floor at 10:59 is the most badass woman I have ever seen in my life!

This is one of my favorites. Saw them live this year in May and this song was a standout. Floor melted my face off singing this. I was right up front center.

Kai Hahto took over on drums in 2014 and Jukka stepped back because of major insominia but he is now in managment with the band , Troy was playing the Irish Bouzouki (like a Mandolin)

I’m a old metal/rock head been a fan of Nightwish for over 20 years. My Mantra for this band that keeps me sane is; MY FAVORITE NIGHTWISH SONG IS ALWAYS THE LAST ONE IVE LISTENED TO!!! Their Albums are masterpieces created 90% by the Metal Mozart Tuomas Who formed Nightwish a little over 25 years ago. My suggestion is check out “ I Want My Tears Back” and” Dead Boys Poem” in Buenios Aires concert. Enjoying your journey and in my humble opinion they have no bad songs! Again their albums, songs even videos are masterpieces but Nightwish shines in their live performances! Rock On Stay Safe!🙏🤘
Emppu is a nickname. His full name is Erno Matti Juhani Vuorinen. Kai Hahto is the new drummer. Jukka (former drummer) decided to step asside from touring due to a severe case of total insomnia. He still works with the band in a management position. Kai is a good friend and was asked to join the band. Troy is actually playing a bouzouki. It is a traditional Irish instrument very much like a large mandolin. Good call Chrissy. I am diggin it!

Marco is a Warwick Exclusive artist.
That's his Warwick Vampyre. His other mains include his Warwick Infinity/Panthera double neck bass/guitar and Warwick Infinity. Customs ofcourse.
The drummer here is Kai Hahto. He was in the finnish band, Wintersun. Jukka Nevalainen was the og drummer for NW but he stepped aside to run the day to day business side of things for NW due to medical issues (severe insomnia). Kai, his replacement is his friend and mentor.
BTW, when you pause, always take it back 10 seconds when you resume. This helps so you don't miss anything especially after a long pause. Great reaction.

The song title is inspired by the Stephen King bool 'Wolves of Calla'. The song itself is telling you to go out and live your life the best you can as the 'wolves' are only 7 days behind you.
Troy gets some camera time in this video. He is from Great Britain/England area. He gets even more camera time at Hellfest 2022 live concert a few months ago. You get to see all the different instruments he brings to the band and he sings with Floor now that Marco left the band. The new bass player is also named Jukka.
You guys are so totally cool. Your reactions are just so genuine which is refreshing. As a metalhead lover of all the great metal bands from the '70s 80's and '90s, I only got introduced to Nightwish two years ago through a UA-cam reaction. In conclusion, there is nothing on the planet quite like them. Their music and stage presence just emotionally affect everyone who listens to them.
This is one of my favorites, especially Floor in the last minute, she literally looks like she is coming off that stage. Always energy, but this one is insanely energized! 💥🤘🤘🤘🔥

Learn the setlist in 48 hours is a documentary (UA-cam) about Floor who replaces Anette who Nightwish fired during a tour in the Usa (2012). They knew Floor was without a band and she said yes when Tuomas called her to come to the States...
It does not get any better than Nightwish live especially with the incomparable Floor Jansen for the past 10 years. This I only discovered 6 months or so ago and am now addicted. I loved watching your faces throughout this reaction. What a transition starting at 6:11 and Floor commanding the audience "Wembley let's go" at 6:47... and GO it did 😍. So many highlights as with all Nightwish performances. This masterpiece is a juggernaut gradually gathering speed down hill before the band bring it back under control. Nightwish doing what Nightwish does. Epic. You are so right... It is a crime against music that this phenomenal band isnt known and appreciated worldwide by millions. That’s a bouzouki, not a mandolin. The guy playing it…Troy…also plays flutes and whistles, Uilleann pipes (an Irish form of bagpipes), acoustic guitar, electric guitar with an e-bow, and he sings, too. You’ll see/hear much more of him as you move forward. Dig it!☮️

As many have told you already, drummer Kai Hahto took over from Jukka Nevalainen, when he had to retire due to severe and chronic insomnia. Kai came from another Finnish band called Wintersun. Nowadays, Nightwish has another Wintersun bandmember in its ranks. Just a couple of weeks ago, Jukka Koskinen, was made an official bandmember. He replaces Marko on bass, as Marko had to step back from Nightwish early 2021, mainly as a result of mental health issues.
The most fun you can have and stay outta jail.

I dont know many people who first started learning about nightwish and ended up becoming their fav band. Welcome guys to the best of the best. Nightwish is every type of art, poetry, opera, classic, and more. There is noone out there like them, neither will there be in future. They are a one in a lifetime blessing, and we are so blessed to be alive in the era they exist

Jukka, had to step back due to health Issues. So, he asked his friend Kia to step in and take over. Kia used to play for a popular metal band called "Winter Sun". Jukka is still involved in band management side.
Troy is playing the electric Irish bouzouki custom made by Fylde in England.
You should check out the video "Sancta Terra" by the band Epica. The Live Retrospect show features Floor Jansen performing with them, as well as a backing orchestra and choir.
Oh boy. Just for starters you have Marcos' vocals, Troy and his pipes and so much more to come. Your journey is going to be sweet!

Kai Hahto is Nightwish's current drummer, handpicked by Jukka to fill in when he needed to go on hiatus for health reasons (debilitating insomnia); a hiatus that sadly became permanent. Jukka is still involved with the business end of Nightwish, but his health simply isn't able to handle the physical stresses of touring anymore.
Kai is not as "showy" of a drummer as Jukka was, but he's arguably better from a technical viewpoint - I've heard him called the Human Metronome for his accuracy. If you'd like a good example of his abilities, I highly, highly recommend checking out his other band, Wintersun, especially the song Sons of Winter and Stars (Time I live rehearsals at Sonic Pump studios) to watch him going completely ham. ua-cam.com/video/Tl5T-glTdXw/v-deo.html
(Coincidentally, Wintersun's bass player, Jukka Koskinen, is also in Nightwish now - Marko announced his retirement from Nightwish in January 2021. They brought in Jukka as a session player for the current tour, and just announced a few weeks ago that he's now a permanent member. Kai and Jukka are both absolute sweethearts - I had the great good fortune to chat with both of them when I saw Nightwish back in May, sheer good luck as there wasn't a meet'n'greet. I just was in the right place at the right time.)
I do believe Kai was Jukka's mentor. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I believe Kai also worked as Jukka's drum tech at some point, which also helped make him the top choice to fill in when Jukka first went on hiatus - because Kai was familiar with Nightwish's music and therefore already knew a lot of what he'd be playing as Jukka's substitute.

I enjoy your dive into the rabbithole that is Nightwish... You spoke of the tilted keyboard and that reminded me of one of their golden oldies... and it is a cover of the song High Hopes, written by Pink Floyd. In this song, the band is without their lead singer Tarja (costume change) and Marko is doing the vocals. They all shine again in this song but to me, The Solo by Emppu Vuorinen stands out. Troy Donockley (multi-instrumentalist) is playing the electric Irish Bouzouki (booh-zoo-key). This is one of my favourites, build up after build up and at the end of the song Floor almost becomes a wolf herself, with that wide open mouth. Kai Hahto is the new and current drummer. In Weak Fantasy at Tampere 2015 you can see his great skills. For me he is a well oiled machine behind his kit.

Once you are done with Wacken 2013, the obvious next song from Wembley is Poet and the Pendulum - but look into the backstory of the song before you listen to it, and consider turning the lyrics on too. It's a powerful one. - More intel from the British Nightwish Light Infantry Regiment. Something makes me think you guys will want to think about a cover of 7 days to the wolves. Seems right up your street.

Always nice to listen to others react to a band for the first time (well, song in this case). Another great song is "Yours is an Empty Hope" featuring a growling Floor Jansen, live in Mexico is the best for sound.

Kai, the drummer came from Wintersun. The first drummer, Jukka, had to step down due to issues with insomnia so he recruited his buddy Kai to take over.
This performance would be live from Wembley stadium. Marco's base for this set was a Warwick vampire.
The is from Wembley Arena. With ceiling other than Wembley stadium.
These 'venues' are easily mixed between the other, meself too occasionally.
