    Such a magical feeling in these clips. I was sure this was a video with a million views, but was surprised to see it was only 300. Keep it up man, you have a talent.

    Some of those shots are mesmerizing. The girl looking at the windows, the dance, the close up of the hands over the wheat... Your oniric style is perfectly suited with the 16mm format, plus the treatment of the film itself is also admirable. I wish you well on your futur cinematic endeavours! (My only complaint would be the music, I greatly enjoy Emil mosseri's music but, we hear that same tune all over the web... And it became diminished with how over used it is)

      I typically overexpose by 1-1.5 stops :) It just depends how you want your frame to look. Generally with film you should overexpose so that your negative receives enough light :)

    so gorgeous - Do you have to put much thinking into focus with these shots or is what you see in the viewfinder reliable?

    Beautiful. I’ve got one on the way, which light meter do you use?

    • @jacobpietras
      @jacobpietras  Рік тому +1

      I actually just use a phone light meter hahahah - terribly unprofessional but it has always worked for me. I have used a Sekonic one before which I liked. If I’m on a commercial job, I tend to just meter with my Sony A7SIII.
      Looking forward to your video brother!

      @@jacobpietras Thank you, the Sekonic is one of my fave I've used. Will have to experiment with the phone app - If it works it works!

    Hey man, looking at getting one. What lenses are you using? M42 or PL mount? Seems to be a lack of wide fast glass, no?

    • @jacobpietras
      @jacobpietras  Рік тому

      M42 bro! Using the standard stock lens that comes with the K3

    Could you technically use the Helios 58mm on this?
