Blackbird is a overlooked modern hard rock classic. I don’t know anyone who doesn’t like that song.
That song is a masterpiece. Lyrics, riffs and them solos back to back... gives me chills every time.

The best singer that Slash played with in my opinion was Rod Jackson from the second Snakepit Album he made in 2000.

I'm sure some of Mark's playing has worn off on Myles. Those guys gel really well.

I believe it. Miles is a badass guitarist, but there's something about Mark Tremonti that makes him one of the greatest guitarists.
@@InsertNameHereCO i would say Myles is equally great, his lead playing is on another level. Hes one of those players that adds significantly to the music by doing as little as possible (most of the time) and for that reason he goes sorely unnoticed

Austin Moser Mark Tremonti and Slash have both said that Myles is the most diverse guitarist in both bands. He was a guitar instructor when Mark called him to join the band.
Blackbird is one of my favorite songs by alter bridge. That song is a masterpiece and the lyrics are so powerful

I could watch these guys noodle round for hours, they're so charismatic without even trying and down to earth. I love seeing rockstars who are musicians first. There's nothing worse than a band who get too gets wrapped up in the idea of being rockstars and forget that they went into the industry to create art. So happy that Alter Bridge never forgot this and it's why they're the best active hard rock band today.
That riff Mark wrote for Creed's song, Bullets, was heavy af... What an awesome tune.
Bullets is such an underrated song. It's honestly amazing and one of my favorite all time songs.

Myles has a voice of the 80s while his band plays rock/metal music. That's a great combination as far as I'm concerned.

I always hear it as a 2/4 or 4/8, something like a half 4/4 but with triplets, I never heard it as 12/8

We all (rightly) rave about the Blackbird solos as being 2 of the greatest guitar solos ever created but let's spare a moment to appreciate the heavy, dirty Blackbird riff which just slams into your face after the intro. Everything about that song is perfection.
