I have mixed feelings on the game, but I love the cutscenes with Alfred. In many continuities, Alfred is the glue that holds Batman and the family together.
this version as well as Gotham (CW) and The Batman (2022) are my favorite versions.
I like when Alfred has actual personality outside of "butler with sarcastic comments"
This Alfred is honestly just a wise, caring Grandad and I'm all for it

Nahhh they know how much we love Alfred. I was sweating bullets when the punk pulled a gun on Alfred and Kane. Then the dude breaks the 4th wall by looking at the camera and saying "I wouldn't want anyone to worry" cheeky lads
I wasn't. Kane and Alfred could totally kick that punk's ass into next week.
If you play as anyone other than Jason he will call the player and say “Alfred went out, I told him to be careful and he called me a “mother hen. Me! Can you believe that?! I think the “I wouldn’t want anyone to worry was aimed in the direction of the Belfry or maybe even a member of the BatFam that followed him off screen.
Alfred is literally the grandpa that's seen it all and knows everything about both lives Bruce lived

i cannot unsee all the clipping and glitching like at the end there with Jason's jacket strings
in some of the scenes elsewhere in cutscenes capes glitch right through people and stuff. sorta crazy

@@thephoenix4093 There's comics sources that say Alfred was 22 when Bruce was born. That's a little young in my opinion, giving him only a few years for his pre-Wayne backstory at most, but yeah. And there's comics that show he was in his prime when Bruce was a child (for example, the father's day comic). In The Batman Bruce is 26 and Alfred can't be older than 54, so he would be 28 at the oldest when Bruce was born. So yeah Alfred was definitely in his 20's when Bruce was born, not old.
Alfred is so pure in this game.

The story of this game is incredible. Best story for a video game I've seen in a long time.
