Your knitting video is a fantastic addition to my post! '31 Quick and Easy Knitting Projects for Beginners' wouldn't be complete without it. Thanks for sharing your knitting expertise!
Thanks so much. I've made a number of garter stitch headbands dividing them in 3 then platting and different colours. A great way to use up yarn and looks super with summer or winter outfits
I found this a bit confusing to watch at first, then I realised that you’re holding the working wool in your left hand. I am new to knitting (having abandoned it a couple of decades ago!) but was taught to hold it in my right hand. I love seeing that there are other ways to do things! Great video!
Thank you! I'm glad you liked it. Yes! There are so many ways to hold the working yarn: throwing, flicking, continental, english style, american style, norwegian style, combination, portuguese style...and those are just the terms I've heard! It's a fun UA-cam rabbit hole to get lost in😂
Just made one for my aunt for Christmas! For my two strands I used two different colors and I love the way it turned out! Thanks for the tutorial! (P.s. I love how stretchy it is!)
I've recently decided to start knitting and selling items as I've been knitting for years. I needed some ideas of things to make and this was so easy to follow. I had to remind myself how to cast on and off but everything else was a breeze. Took me about 4 hours total to finish one headband just waiting for the tapestry needles to arrive. It seems a little tight to me I used the exact same wool but maybe I knitted more tightly than you? Anyway. We will see if it fits me when I finish but thank you so much for the knitting pattern ♥
Thank you for the video! This is my first project. I don't understand how to add the yarn back to the headband to make the second thinner section. Is there a video that teaches you how to do that?
Wonderful directions thank you ❤. I do have one question if I wanted to increase the width on my next headband would I just make sure it cast on ends in an odd number? Thanks in advance for any repliy.❤
I have been trying to figure out how to continental knit and purl and your video is the first one that I have seen that actually makes sense and I was even watching it without sound in bed! Lol! Thank you - I can’t wait to make one of these!
that's great to hear! I can actually get a little self conscious about my purling sometimes 'cuz I feel like its a little different! It's very reassuring to hear it makes sense to someone else😂😂😂
I have been knitting for over 70 years (UK) and cast on and knit purl and plain in an entirely different way! Also is this wool ‘double knitting ‘ or four ply or cotton.. In the U.K. this is the terminology. This one plain one purl is called ‘single rib’ in the U.K.
I can't get my brain to understand how you do this XDDDDDD working yarn in the left hand, I just started learning using my right hand to wrap the yarn around the needles, this is like trying to learn to ride a bike that turns left when you pull right XD hahaha I'm still taking the challenge! XD
okay people as a knitter of 5 decades seriously using a yarn that has no ease is wrong. Ease is the amount of stretch the yarn will give in a finished product. Paint box is not a yarn that has ease she's young I understand. I would suggest Lion Brand Heather or a Merino Wool. Please do not use just any worsted weight yarn. My grand daughter has been taken to Markets where people make there own yarn accessory products. So many her mom has bought her have not held up to the yarns I use. IF SOMEONE can NOT give you the yarn ease inches in a pattern even on video stop and think how much do they really know about yarn.
This was the first knitting project I’ve completed. It doesn’t look quite like yours but I’m so proud of myself. Thank you for the making this

Thank you!! Last winter I bought a kit for this pattern. I needed to see someone knit this pattern. I’m a visual person.😎
Nice headband and great detailed instructions/video!! Thank you for taking the time to make and share both.

I am in class 6 and i am learning to make turban headband by watching your video we are just beginners you please upload more knitting design
I'll make one myself today, and I'll show you on Instagram ❤️ thanks for the tutorial!
Thanks for thè tutorial in a easy way
Do we need to use 2 strands for it? Love this by the way
it will be much more delicate maybe even too flimsy if you don't. It comes out great with bulky also, very dramatic looking.
Wonderful directions thank you ❤. I do have one question if I wanted to increase the width on my next headband would I just make sure it cast on ends in an odd number? Thanks in advance for any repliy.❤
So glad you enjoyed it 😊 yes, any odd number of stitches will do
Thank you so much. And do take care🌾
Thk u for making it easy to knead for beginners

Thank you. I made my first turban headband although it was not that perfect. 🙂
Gonna make this for my friend's birthday! Thank you!
Also, how many yards in total do you recommend?
Thats great! It'll be about 170 yards😊
@@TheSnugglery thank you!!

XD
What size yarn did you use please?
What will the total length for a normal size gents ear warmer ...
Do I really need 2 strands of yarn ? Or will 1 strand of yarn will work?
You can use one strand if it's a thicker yarn. Like a chunky to super chunky weight.
The Snugglery thank you 😊
Thank you very much
Thank u i could make it 💖💖
Kniting. Heat
Thanks :-)
Slipknot 😀
teehee😁
Cast on 15
Ik wil in nederlandse taal
6:11 just realised i did the whole thing wrong cause i’m right handed
I join yarn the same way
The movements are way too fast, and speeding up the video while demonstrating stitches makes it impossible to learn.
Your knitting style is very complicated
There are 2 common ways english way and american way if u google and find ur way itl make more sense i use Uk version and im from the uk
