But we do not have a concept of CL and PL in the company (the one based in India) on whose payroll I am on. We just get 15 leaves a year, i.e., 1.25 leaves per month on pro rata basis. These leaves do not get carried forward to next year. We cannot encash them either. The unused leaves simply lapse once the financial year ends. We work on all Indian National holidays. We get one holiday on Ganesh Chathurthi and one holiday on Diwali. Apart from that, we are off only 5-6 US federal holidays. I am not sure if these leaves and holidays are fair as the HR is not at all helpful. Please advise.
@@zomoto9577 What is 8 for in your calculation? I feel there are a lot of companies in my city who have full weekend off and more than 30 PL & CL and all major Indian holidays plus state-wise holidays. That's a lot more than what I get.

Minus 365 days -127 holidays=238 less than 240 days your getting more leaves compare to other companies in india
