Jessica Vosk played Elphaba on Broadway (2018-19). and if you didn't catch it in the credits, the OG Wicked Witch was played by Kathy Castellucci, Geoff's wife.
This cover is real insanity. If Jessica got, finally, into the storm, well, we can now understand how the thunders are made. This woman is really a force of Nature. I'm impressed.
I’ll say it once I’ll say it again! Layne and Tony and Pattycake should make big bucks/acclaim in Hollywood for their productions. Everything is so incredibly detail orientated and their lyrics and arrangements are insanely good.
Also I love Patreon! I’m so proud and grateful to have my name in the credits tied to something as insanely good as this! Being able to give even the tiniest amount to help keep the boys doing their epic stuff is worth every cent though if I could afford go top tier I would in a heartbeat. 😂 if I won the lotto there would be signs - top tier memberships on all my faves haha
Jessica has amazing control in her beautiful voice. Layne and Tony are amazing creating original music and then producing videos of this quality. Thanx for reacting to it!
This is so good and I’m glad to see somebody finally reacting to it. When VoicePlay released their Thriller, I added the comment about this being released to as many of the reaction videos as I could hoping that somebody would actually pay attention. In the past, they also did the evolution of Cinderella and the evolution of Ariel which were both fantastic but this is a whole different level. But I do encourage you to go out and watch them for your own entertainment if nothing else because they are truly so creative. The first wicked witch besides Jessica’s was channeling the original wicked witch done by Margaret Hamilton and was played by Geoff’s wife Kathy. I only knew it was her because they hinted at it before they issued this. She’s pretty good at being unrecognizable. If you haven’t watched VoicePlay’s cover of Thriller, she is the floor zombie. In addition, the woman who played Theodora with the flames shooting out from her hand also plays the character of Cinderella in PattyCake Productions series the Villain’s Lair. She was also in their video of Villains at the Haunted Mansion where portraits of a lot of villains from live action films of Disney properties come to life sort of like in the Harry Potter portraits. These include a Return to Oz movie, Regina from Once Upon a Time as well as the Narnia series. (That actress bears a startling resemblance to Tilda Swanson.)
Thank you for your comment! Their video actually showed up in my homepage feed and I knew I wanted to react to it the moment I saw the title and thumbnail. Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of reactions done to Pattycake Productions, and I don't know why, but that won't stop me from creating them. My reactions to their music videos typically get an average of 500-800 views. I plan to react to more of their productions as there's a LOT to discuss when it comes to their high production value with each music video.
Hi Jeffrey. I am late to the party as always haha. I am a patron of PC and the other two parties associated haha. I am an oldie and very new to music production, arrangements - well all of it 😂I guess I would be classed as a casual listener to music from bands all the way from Sabaton to Voiceplay/Geoff and a few bits in between. I am learning though and I love it, I will never pass a music theory exam 😁but I am having fun along the way. I really like the way you break things down, I know what you are talking about is probably way more complex, some reactors are great but loose me with all the technical terms, way way too technical for me at this time, you, however, seem to understand that not all of your audience are theory trained and I love that about your reactions. I am subbed to you, I cannot remember how long ago I did, I subbed and watch because you make it a joy to do so. Thank you Jeffery for your insightful but what seem to be mindful reactions, I appreciate that very much. If there is one thing I could wish for ( on this New Years Day ) it would be that all the hard work, time and effort that PC put into their epic productions would be appreciated and recognised far more than it is out there in the world. Happy New Year Jeffrey 😀

Very cool! Jessica's voice was absolutely stellar, so that would make sense. I hardly recognized Kathy 😂
Wow dope

She very much is! Everything about her in this music video is amazing ❤️

Who knows, maybe an opportunity might come their way!

They really are! When I see what they do in the credits of these videos, it really surprises and amazes me. They're more than just phenomenal singers.

So much talent both in front of and behind the camera. Love this!
Yes! Such a talented group of people and a great production

Thanks for reacting to Pattycake Productions. They're fabulous ❤
I'm happy you enjoyed the video 😊 They create great work!
Kathy Castellucci is the perfect 1939 Elphaba.
Haha, yes! Very well done
Very beautiful work both the video production and the performance in vocals and everything!❤❤
Agreed 😊
Wow - beautiful! 💕⚘️🕊
I'm glad you think so too 😊
