- The Legend that is American Singer/Songwriter and pianist extraordinaire Antoine "Fats" Domino who is of French/Creole descent is seen here in very good times for this New Orleans local who had five albums selling over one million before 1955 and had thirty five records in the U.S. Top forty!
These two certainly seem to get along like a house on fire which makes this even more enjoyable to see!

I first saw this more than 20 years ago, and I loved it, especially that moment at the end when Fats calls Jools 'baby' ('Fats Domino called me 'baby'!!)... you can see Jools practically melt with pleasure. Sometimes it's good to meet your heroes.
A lot of people don't remember or realize that Fats Domino was such a big star that Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and even Elvis opened for him.
Yeah and Elvis even said he was the real king of rock n roll if I’m not mistaken!
Fats is so happy when he sees Jools imitate him so perfectly. And Jools is even happier.
Fats was truly a class act in every respect...
