I have owned a cosmetic company by the name of Very Veelo Beauty for some time now and

with these easy amazing steps you too will be able to start your cosmetic/lipstick line.

Color/Pigments- When choosing any color additive when making your lipsticks with the intent to sell, all of your color additives (pigments, micas, lakes etc) must all be batch certified! I know in my video I mentioned purchasing from tkb, you still can but they sell their batch certified lakes only in larger quantities. I found an affordable company that sells Batch Certified color additives in smaller quantities and also at a more affordable rate! Here is their website:

I hope more consumers start appreciating the smaller business community and start spending their money considering who they are investing in. See this is a company I would be glad to spend money on instead of some big sketchy company or Kylie trying to rip us off. You are an example to the rest of the beauty community. No egotrippin', no backstabbing, just informative eductional videos everyone can appreciate. The fact that you just show everyone how your lipsticks are made automatically eliminates anyone trying to come for your brand.
Thank you love, The crazy thing with me uploading my formula is that honestly I gave up on my cosmetic company and God wouldn’t allow me to just sit on info that could bless someone else 😌 I had no intentions of selling again until I started mixing for the recording! While I won't be doing this myself, I greatly appreciate the fact you gave a tutorial that wasn't about crayon and coconut oil lip balm calling it "Lipstick". I love that you put up a tutorial for people legitimately looking to either make this for themselves, as a gift, or start a business with it. And that you went into detail and took it seriously. Bomb! Really appreciate the transparency. Companies act like everything needs to be secret but you know 99% of us aren't about to start a lipstick lab in the kitchen. Also, if you use a scale to weigh out the powders, it's going to save you so much time from batch to batch. Good Luck!

I love how relaxing this is compared to most of the DIYs I see that have bouncy up beat music, and the person doing it seems so rehearsed and so overly peppy that it comes off as fake.

Its so great that you're willing to give us some tip and tricks that we can in turn use in our own applications. So many people would've kept this a "secret family recipe". But you're so wonderful to share with us all so openly. P.S the little legs swinging off the chair in the background brought a big smile to my face and made me like you 20x more lol.
Hey love, instead of using your spatula to put it in the syringe, put a plastic bag inside of a cup and scrape the product into the plastic bag then you can use it like an icing piping bag by just snipping off the corner and you can easily squirt it into you either your tubes or the syringe. It's much cleaner and you don't waste as much product.

Or pour it in the tube while it’s still hot
The problem with pouring it in the tube while it's still hot is candelilla wax can take as long as 24 hours to set up totally and the texture will change so while it may be a gel texture when you pour it in the tube, after 24 hours it would harden slightly and aesthetically each time you pull the tube out it would look chunky.

Lol yes. The crayon version was a cute diy intro for teens but nothing you could sell more like a sleepover project. 😂 not gonna lie I wore my little eos sheer restaurant kids menu crayon lip balm though, with pride.

This is truly a cruelty free product!
(However when purchasing pigmentations always be sure what’s in your pigment as some may contain bugs or other animal products)
(Your red pigments are usually the biggest culprits, stay away from carmine, cochineal extract and natural red 4)

Cruelty free beeswax existsn
Jaime Ketchum that’s very true, however, sometimes it is hard to find that and it may be more expensive.
Bees are such endangered insects it’s unbelievable , so honestly if you can get around using beeswax and use something else, it’s so much more beneficial for the environment!

oh my goodness, this is heaven! I'll have all the cities... I'd say Miami, I don't know how what pigments goes in it, I'll try to find it if you made it.
I've being mixing Shea Butter unrefined that has some of wax in it, it's a medium soft butter that become hard has Cocoa Butter once I mixed pigment into it(I bet I put too much 🙄)but it does the job. I needed Yellow and Blue to mix to the general Red base lipsticks, Black and White those aren't too bad to find.
When they are finished I'll try to follow your recipe, I'm not careful...messy really
