The misty light of the morning and the glow of autumn trees,
that fill our eyes with wonder and quenches the soul with ease.
Reflections from the water, golden abstracts in their view,
rather sit quietly now and ponder what nature means to you.

I think that if you can get photo's of the swans from the water level, I believe you'll get even more amazing shots. The water level shots some how transforms the photo's into extraordinary pictures.

If the sawns stick around and lay eggs, then you are in for a treat if you can capture the Cygnets riding on their mother's back.

That elusive Scotch mist. Didn't someone have the idea to sell it to tourists in cans?! Seriously, thanks for sharing with us some delightful moments. Like you, I just love being a quiet observer of the changes going on around me. Swans are my favourite birds, which I often encounter on my walks by Loch Lomond. So graceful and photogenic.

Fantastic location Kim,some awesome shots there 👏👏im a big fan of mist! I managed to capture an authentic tsunami event in the mountains of the canary islands in my latest video..(early morning cold air and sunrise cause it to cascada down the mountains like water)

Kim, you appear to be on the cusp of flipping to the perspective of the items at this location consider you to be the visitor to them versus they (e.g the robin, the swans, the mist) visiting you. Just a thought. Bill

That places you in WA! Such a great state. The black swans are gorgeous. There's a heap of them not far from where I live now in Tasmania. Although finding somewhere safe to park to go and photograph them is a challenge. The spot is currently busy with bridge construction and a load of cars crossing and navigating a main thoroughfare and roundabout. Maybe when the new bridge is finished . . . ..

Awesome! That place reminds me of a park that I used to frequent before I moved back to my hometown. We don't have swans, but we had lots of geese, blue heron green heron, killdeer, and pipers along with a multitude of song birds. Thanks for sharing your experience with us.

It's not all about the photography for me. It's the tool that gets me out, but what I see, feel and articulate when I'm on location is what I love most about photography. The images are simply a bonus and only created once I'm connected. That's where the meaning comes, for me anyway 😊

For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities-his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.
