In this video, I had to Skomer Island, just off the coast of Pembrokeshire in Wales. This island is home to thousands of Atlantic puffins (one of the most iconic species of seabirds). I spent a couple of nights here with my Mum to enjoy time on the island and, of course, spend some time out with my camera too in order to film and photograph the puffins.

Brilliant video especially the Puffin footage they really are such an iconic little birds. I visited the island for the day yesterday and even that was what I consider early but I did want to see the Bluebells and Pink Campion.
The wildlife did not fail to deliver though as plenty of Puffins and other birds to photograph its definitely a must place to visit if you love wildlife 😀

Yes she is super patient! Probably the only person who can come with me, and sit for as long as I can without wanting to move on! She loves it, so always take her with me when I can :)

Gorgeous. Can I ask please we are visiting Skomer for the 1st time in 5 weeks andd staying on the island for 2 days. What lens were you using, I'm not sure whether to go with my 150-600mm or 100-400 and my 24mm for some wide angle.
Also what food do you reccomend?
You say you dropped your Mum down by the beach, how far can you drive down? The scenes at golden hour were so beautiful. I'm so excited. Tia

Great production Roxy, I follow the 2 live feeds daily. Such unique expressions on them, eyebrows etc. Kinda reminds me of a white English Bull Terrier I once knew.

Really nice vid, I am going to Skomer soon and if my pics are anything like you have done I am going to be very happy, I have subscribed and liked for you. I am taking a 150-600mm and a 70-200mm will that be adequate, what clothing etc would you advise I take? I am going for the day, any advice would be really really gratefully received

Yes, this was filmed on the 400 f/4.5 and 70-200 f/2.8 - no, no teleconverter was used.
