The level of how good a boss Conan is has always amazed me. Even though there are ppl under him who sound fireable, he doesn’t do so but instead turns them into comedic gold. This way everyone, including his show, miraculously benefits.
Someone pointed out in a comment that it would be very hard for Conan to fire Sona. It would almost have to be publicly addressed, and Conan couldn’t just say “well she wasn’t doing her job” because everyone would get mad and go “well yeah, she’s Sona!” She’s have to key his car or something specific

@@brianmorton9419 I mean now yeah, but he could have fired her for years with zero consequences. I get the feeling that Conan just doesn't care though, he's set for life and can afford to employ people who do nothing as long as they're enjoyable to be around.

They do! It’s impossible to replace Sona, we (the avid Conan podcast fans) love her SO much, but David is doing really well. It’s hard to follow in the footsteps of greatness, but they look like they’re finding their rhythm.
David's doing a great Job but I miss Sona's delightful laughter...

I feel like sometimes gourley's comments ("what r u in preschool??") caught conan off guard and it's so fun to watch haha
I still think it would have been funny if Sona named her sons after Conan's two siblings that were born directly after him, even if those were his sisters, just to poke fun at his fear of being replaced on her priority list.
That is extremely complicated

Whole Foods is not really wholesome for either customers but especially employees. You may be relieved to know it says it stopped using prison labor in 2016. Before that, I hope you didn't eat things like their goat cheese or tilapia. It is now owned by Amazon, so you can make Bezos happy if you give him more money.
