Sorry to hear you guys couldn't make to Vancouver. So far the 2018 forest fire season has been the worst in the Province of British Columbia surpassing 2017. The smoke was affecting Metro Vancouver (its since cleared out) however the region (and the city) were not on fire. Hopefully you guys will be up here in the near future.
In short, simplicity is they key to an efficient use of your time :)

Aaaaggghh, these fires have kinda sucked. But all the smoke cleared out on that Saturday. You guys do need to come up here though and hangout with Levi Allen.

I'm in love with @moment lenses... Have the whole range, apart from the Anamorphic. I totally agree with you guys, this gear on your phone is a game changer. Of course it's always about the story first, but if you have good gear readily available in your pocket, that makes the world of a difference.
To anyone thinking of buying Moment gear, don't hesitate, just do it, it's worth every penny. Also their customer service is second to none. And if you wanna take this even further, get a Movi from Freefly, because those camera shakes are the difference between pro and amateur looking shots.

What if the barrier to creating is self-esteem? Someone have told me personally that I am not that good enough and that I will never make it.
While I am still learning everything and willing to try out new things.. that statement actually shattered me which ultimately made me stop creating. Coz I don't know whether it will be good enough.

quality at 4:55 is terrible, or is it out of focus? At 3:00 it is still crisp.

I hear ya about simplicity... But at the same time I see "successful" Instagram photographers with super edited pics. If I want to get paid (sponsorships and the like) to take pics how can I be successful without editing the pic so much. Maybe I'm not the only one that feels this way? 🤷🏼♀️
