books are the best, I never throw out a reference book even when I stop doing whatever the book is about. Most of the books I bought were specie specific. Undergravel filters are the best filters and the only reason they are not still around is there is no ongoing cost, once set up that filter will last for 100 years with nothing more than water changes and light grave vacuuming. I have seen them around but very hard to find, awesome in little tanks.

Justin, you are so right. It just seemed so much easier to keep a tank going well back it the day, using basic filters like the under gravel.
