When it comes to Kiss I sure know this their track " Sure Know Something " is my favourite. I was a teenager learning guitar and bought a bass amp borrowed someones bass and this was the first bass line I taught myself in my Dads garage back in 1979.
It's a little hard to "hate" Kiss's disco period, since that was their *breakout* period. (What's to "hate" about disco anyway? My fave music is heavy/prog rock BUT my memorable high school years *were* the disco period.)
Damn Scribe. Did you do this one for me? I requested this the other day when you went live and some ppl requested some disco all in a row. I didn't even put up no dough, though. You the best, girly. I thought you might get into that. "When KISS went disco." it's a classic. Thanks.
I thoroughly enjoy your reactions. The fun you seem to having is contagious. Now I'm going to give you something to respond to. Sade, pronounced Shah-day, has 2 terrific videos. The first, Is it a Crime? The 2nd is a personal favorite. No Ordinary Love, which sounds like two peoples heartbeats pressing against each as they reach out for each other. She doesn't sing as much as she breathes. But the emotion is there.
All the kiss songs that were played back in the 70des where asome and I love the song l was made for loving you because it is the love song of me and my girlfriend
This is from 1979. I remember this when it was out. I don't think Gene Simmons really liked doing this song, but he did it. I love this though. Rock 'N' Roll All Nite and Detroit Rock City I think are their most iconic songs. I think this was their attempt at Disco. Those days were really a lot of fun. I think would have loved it back then. Radio is where we got all our music from back then and there were only like 8 channels available on cable if you had it. No internet and we did so much interacting with our friends back in the day. I MISS THOSE DAYS!!! Thank you for making this new again. I haven't heard this one in a while.
I would say the songs that were picks off of their solo albums when they made them. Gene Simmons Strutter Paul Stanley. Hard Luck Woman Ace Freely Back in the New York Groove Peter Chris Beth Dr. Love Take Me Hotter Than Hell God of Thunder Heaven's on Fire Love Gun Detroit Rock City (album version)
I love your reactions so much!!! I miss watching them on a regular basis. Hope you're doing great. Happy Holidays to you, your family, and all your subscribers... Merry Christmas, Happy Kwanzaa, Happy Hanukah! 🎉👾🐿️🎄🎅🦠🎉
From a KISS fan (of the original line-up), thank you Scribe for checking them out. I've loved your reactions to their songs. Ace Frehley's (guy with the glowing guitar) solos are absolutely on hit! Please check out 'Detroit Rock City' soon. God bless.
hell yeah, paying attention to the background harmonies of any song kind of gives it fresh feel if you heard the song alot. Because yeah some don't pay attention, I'm guilty of that lol
Ha, most of us in the the KISS ARMY were not pleased with this release. That is they did not admit to liking this song. KISS ARMY was like WTF! KISS playing DISCO? It has now since become a classic. It just proves KISS can play anything and will play anything to make that money, lol.
People who request, "I Was Made For Loving You," or, "Rock and Roll All Night," are not the Kiss fans you want to get advice from. Try songs like "100,000 Years, " "I Stole Your Love," and "Deuce."
This song and album was the end of anyone taking them serious as rockers. Disco...? The Gods Of Thunder and Rock N' Roll playing disco. No thanks. Now, the song Deuce, that's when Kiss was Kiss, not this.
It seems you reactors all follow some sort of lead from each other. Not sure that's the best route to take as by the time you get a reaction up for the same song, there might have been so many others ahead of you, that the song has grown monotonous to hear and you don't get the best response from your subscribers that you might have had you waited to play this song. Just a thought.
i defy any rock band to make a disco song in that era to be that good -go on make the track that makes you hardcore disco ,fuckin hard isnt it -so dont hate on a fucking good solid gold disco song, end of rant also she coud care less that this song existed had to put this out there -she coms off as one of he poeple who likes a genre of music most likely soul and r&b but i have to react to this nonsence
She just knows a good groove when she hears it!! IDGAF what the old KISS heads think about this song...it rocks!!
Agreed.
yes it does!
According to Paul Stanley it was inspired by dancing at Studio 54.
“Nothing like chest hair and face paint” so adorable

Love that song. First heard it on their MTV Unplugged back when it was originally televised and was an instant favorite.
kiss did this song during the disco era...my favorites ars Beth, Hard luck woman, Lick it up
Featured in that great classic movie, Scooby-Doo and Kiss : Rock and Roll Mystery.
Girl you better stop saying kiss like that....lol you just made this song 10 times sexier lol where would we be without the wonderful 70's yall lol
@@cirtapseven3742 ofcourse ...but still nothing like the 70's
KISS' brief foray into disco on the Dynasty album. KISS fans either hate this time for the band or love it. LOL!
I remember I got this album at a supermarket as a kid when it was released. I loved the song.
It's a little hard to "hate" Kiss's disco period, since that was their *breakout* period. (What's to "hate" about disco anyway? My fave music is heavy/prog rock BUT my memorable high school years *were* the disco period.)
Love it!❤️
Best reaction video I've watched! Made me laugh a couple times. Keep doin you, Shawty!!

Kiss- Love Gun
Great reaction. Love your singing at the end and your laugh.

I love hearing a musician’s take on this song!
Would love to see you do some Pearl Jam. Black from MTV unplugged. Jeremy uncut video. Porch from Pink pop 92! Anything from the 10 album!
More Kiss ,more History 💋😘 grazie 🎸🎸😈🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸!!
hell yeah, paying attention to the background harmonies of any song kind of gives it fresh feel if you heard the song alot. Because yeah some don't pay attention, I'm guilty of that lol
GROOOOWWWWLLLLL! hell yeah!!!!
This is like reacting to number nine for your first Beatles reaction.
So number nine is one of Beatles best? Cool.
@@Moctop Ha Ha. It doesn't represent the type of music they play.
This was one of those ‘divide everyone’ tracks back in the day
Glad you liked i! I'm not one for the edited version, all the same,it's good. Plus, you're cute!😉
Keeeeeeeessssss
Its metal baby.Hellish hell 80's

It's weird for me to watch kick-ass KISS doing what sounds to me like a disco song.
Another song I recommend by KISS is " Sure know Something" it has a cool Bass line.
You are great !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kiss is awesome check out rock all night party every day
Check out Ace Frehley solo album!!! Songs: Snow Blind, Ozone, I’m in need of love.
Dope!
Check out our reaction to this video! ua-cam.com/video/GZituX6P2z0/v-deo.html
Tu cantas muy bien!!!
It better to see them live
OK, UA-cam...you need to STOP posting reaction videos to this song COZ YOU GOT THE BEST RIGHT HERE!!! ScribeCash ROCKS!!!
People who request, "I Was Made For Loving You," or, "Rock and Roll All Night," are not the Kiss fans you want to get advice from. Try songs like "100,000 Years, " "I Stole Your Love," and "Deuce."
I disagree. This is a good song. Kiss or not.
Why would you want all their songs to sound the same? What's wrong with some diversity in their song styles?
Do you know the George Harrison song, "My Sweet Lord"? I think you would enjoy it.
🎉
“Let’s Tap in to It” Girl you’re Freaky. Would love to party with you.🥂🥃🍻🤫🌹.
Saw them live a few years ago. Amazing show.
The only shame is that Paul's great voice... well it's basically gone :(
But as a whole, great show.
Scribe best drummer
Dont be afraid of gene Simmons tongue.😊😊
ultimate glam-rock
You're there for the guitar lighting up? Most chicks are there for Gene's tongue!

DISCO METAL
Disco Kiss, as a Kiss fan when I was a kid it was disappointing. A lot of bands did it back then. Just never really dug this song.
This song and album was the end of anyone taking them serious as rockers. Disco...? The Gods Of Thunder and Rock N' Roll playing disco. No thanks. Now, the song Deuce, that's when Kiss was Kiss, not this.
Reaction a "Sure Know something"
now go watch STSanders version of this!
Sure Know Something would be the far better choice
Song 🔝 you 😂
Stevie Nick's sampled this song.
When you paused the first time , some how the video is not running with the sound

I have asked more than once. Why the hell is the 409 bottle out EVERY single video??

Isn't haring illegal?.....lol
This is Kiss at their most embarrassing!
More like the last 20 years.
Kissing time USA might be
Bubble gum pop :) ...deep ... Good tune, but costumes? 🙄😒
When Kiss went Disco and broke our hearts....💔
✌😎
Why would you do crap KISS songs? Deuce, Detroit Rock City, Black Diamond, Hotter Than Hell........
Instead of do do doing maybe you could get the video your reviewing a bit more in sync? Yeah mabe?
This is not classic Kiss.
Who is recomending this?
Check from Kiss Alive 1 " Duece, Stutter.
Love Eric Carr Kiss not a fan of Peter Criss
Luve yo but kiss sucks lol
Disco kiss at their worst ! Pure comic band
this is some of Kiss's worst music. seriously.
Stevie and Beyonce sampled this. This came out in 80s
