I have MS and fibromyalgia. I've been playing almost daily sine 2008 (Burning Crusade). I started out with a Logitech G-13 keypad, wore out 3 before they stopped making them. I've moved to the Razer Tartarus Pro. I have my main six or seven spells on the keypad, then I mouse the others as needed. Never touch the computer keyboard except for an escape key. I've never made macros because I don't understand them (if they're complicated, I can do a one-two button). I've mained a mage since I started but recently I've found I love playing Ret Pali and Beast Master Hunter. So my mage is going to third place and I'm going to be playing the other two for TWW. Because the keypad has a place to rest my hand, and I can program it to whatever I need for the spec, it's a lot less painful on my hands. Of course, I've had a few "twitch oops" with the spacisity of the MS, but I try to keep my hands off that pad until we're ready to go. And I agree, I would love to have a Blizzard group with those of us who need different ways to play so we can give feedback on things.

The hardest thing about elemental shaman, unfortunately, is trying to get into m+ pugs and convincing your mythic raid's leader why elemental shaman isn't a wasted spot (it is). Always a fun spec to play as an alt though.
same as enhancement shaman... we shamans have like no defensives, they gave bloodlust to other classes that always have at least one meta specc that everyone invites, our totems dont have many things other classes dont have at this point either and we are like never one of the best dps in the game or raid buffs. at least enhancement got wf totem which can get us a raid spot, but for m+ enhancement is even worse to get into groups than ele. they really have to give us something that shamans are wanted in groups again like in tbc and wotlk for example. every raid wanted at least 1 enhance and 1 ele because we added so many things to the raid.
I don't want easier. I want less buttons. It's why I completly support adding more action target and hybrid ability in game. To put some of the difficultly on moment and aiming and not just clicking button in a specific order. Litterally every plunderstorm spell felt awsome.
I don't want an easier specialization more than I want the specialization to match its difficulty. I also feel the problem with harder specs is that you end up battling the specialization more than the dungeon.
Elemental Shaman is just so damn visually pleasing to me. I love the lighting especially. The feel of controlling the elements. (Would like a better earthquake visual tho)😅 Its just a total vibe to me. ✌🏾

I'm turning 57 in a couple of months and have grandchildren. Bring on the grandma specs! I'm thinking of trying ret pally for something new.

@@corihulet739 Yeah, I haven't picked mine up yet either. I just started playing again after a break a few years ago; currently trying to level a Warlock and a few other toons before I give Ret a fresh spin!
Spec needs a complete rework, mastery is bad, ramp up is insane and screws balancing for literally any other content than "when mobs live long enough you are in upper half of DPS". Eclipse needs to go, sunfire should be removed (it adds nothing to the game, it's recoloured moonfire, if moonfire got double damage and spread to all targets in some 15 yards nobody would miss sunfire).
That version of SP was also super fun in the last season of BFA with corruption. It’s the only spec I’ve ever loved enough to put in the work for 99 parses. Since then, I’ve been searching for the voidform high in different specs, and nothing comes close
I want my elemental shaman to be my main again so badly. It was my main for a bit during BfA and during that expansion is when I started to play other classes as my main character. It really should be a much simpler class to play considering its concept. AOE = Chain Lightning and Earthquake (not multidot crap), single target is elemental blast (maybe), lightning bolt, lava burst and earth shock. I hate frost shock and any talents or other abilities that support it.
Yeah, multiDoT for Shaman makes literally zero sense for me and it kills my desire to play it. I also hate Frost Shock, so I feel your pain. If it weren't for those two things, I'd honestly probably main Elemental.

Hey I’m quitting mage for priest and I maimed frost mage so cool seeing shadow and frost at the same level. I like shadow a lot more than frost and what is all this bad mobility coming from? I finally found the macro that lets you cast feather at your feet so my mobility is great.
Btw, I don’t know if you meant probably playing Stormbringer for Ele or not, but if you play Stormbringer, you don’t take Lightning Rod bc it’s given to you by the hero tree
Affliction and frost mage my favorite. Specially affliction. Its the best warlock spec atm and as we get harder content you see how powerful it will be. Its allready powerful in boss fight and when mobs dont instantly die by ret paladins and other melee it will dominate.
I haven't play retail in years. Im playing cata fire mage now. What class should I play in TWW if I want a ranged class that is around the same difficulty or easier than cata fire mage?
Interesting takes on the difficulties. I personnally rank Affliction warlock way higher because I can't do DoTs management without WeakAura, while I never needed it for demo to click. Beside that, I can't seem to get Destruction's AOE rotation. Arcane mage got quite streamlined and is a lot more accessible than before, so as a fan of the class fantasy who never couldplay it right, I like it.
For how easy BM spec is, it's shocking how many pug bm's I end up with who don't know how beast cleave works and just don't press multi-shot. I've had explain it to random people 6 or 7 times in the beta already. I dunno if they're classic players crossing over or what.
Awesome video, any chance of doing this with the tanks? I appreciate a lot of them are quite similar in difficulty, but would be interesting for your expert opinion nonetheless.
After being a ret pala main since TBC I'm going range as my main. I've been playing lock in the beta and it just seems so much fun. I have been playing casually that I'm no longer about meta builds, classes, etc just what is fun. I've been debating going hunter but summoning demons seems more fun than the pets.
Really, BM Hunter is the best class for a casual player that just want to come home from work and chill both for PvE, PvP, solo world content etc. You just have so many quality of life things that other classes dont. Its very relaxing actually. The only downside to playing Hunter is they are everywhere, its the most played class
Hardest thing about Affliction Warlock is that their dots don't tick fast enough. Instead of every 4 seconds it should be every 3 seconds to offset the major dps loss they've received since things die so much quicker.
Well the rework isnt yet here for ele but in retail M+ Ele is super handicapped and provides a totally annoying rotation for a minimum return when it comes to AoE a warlock just outdps'ses you just by pressing rain of fire
I can’t help but disagree with ele being “very hard” purely because the lack of buttons they have to press. Spec is kind of a meme in my opinion and I’d put it closer to a frost mage in terms of difficulty.
I mained DH in Legion and had enough of it, only dabbled with it in SL and DF, but what i can appreciate is that it's a well designed spec. If you look at the damage breakddown of your abilities, both in PvE and PvP the damage is very nicely split across your entire toolkit instead of you having a million little things that does nickel and dime damage and then 1 ability that does 80% of your total damage, like Ret's, Unholy DK etc.
Shadow Priest is a mess =/ Feels like way outdated spec, which was just patched over with new shiny things to cover the holes. Like .. why do we even still have Vampiric Touch and Shadow Word: Pain -- those are currenly like "token debuffs", which are there more to trigger other effects rather than damage itself. You can't use your big boy spell untill all the "tokens" are up and running on target(s), and then play maintance mini-game against tank. In dungeons if tank wins and manage to dodge your Shadow Crash - you are 20 sec of DPS behind others.
I don’t think aug evoker is easy. I mean rotation-wise it seems easy. But every Ebon Might window, you’re trying to extend it as much as possible. Which reminds me of playing Surrender to Madness mini game every 30 sec. Every gcd you spend not extending ebon might feels punishing. Like when playing some other class, you feel bad when you use defensives/cc/utility gcd things when you’re in your burst/cd rotation. Aug evoker feels like you’re constantly in that kind of rotation. You don’t have a single gcd to spare constantly. I don’t play it anymore, the spec actually overwhelmed me(Also i didn’t like the feel of dractyr as a whole)
bro... I main MM hunter and even new MM hunter is easy to play. Very straight forward rotation with not a ton of buttons to worry about hitting within that rotation. You have extra buttons to worry about for higher level gameplay but lets be real there is no world where MM is HARDER to play than aff or demo.
Haha you say braindead, yet 90% of all elemental shamans are complete garbage because they are not able to play the piano with all that haste and flame shock management to be able to dps significantly. Braindead because of you literally spam lavaburst but setting it up correctly in trash packs (lower keys are horrible) is not that easy. I would never suggest to anyone playing elemental even though its my favourite spec.
@@chronix9784 Definitely agree, I'm an ele shaman main, lightning build enjoyer and spamming Lava Burst is easy and in some cases it's good. But in other cases your dps will be trash if you don't plan accordingly. I've been struggling myself at times to play the fire build correctly and it's easy to mess up your dps from time to time (specially when you have a lot of totems to juggle with for example to deal with some affixes)
Ele Shaman is more difficult to play than Fire Mage? What???? I must have a part of my brain that’s wired backwards. Got KSH on my alt Ele but when I play Fire Mage I look like I’ve never played before
Don’t agree with Affliction Lock ranking. Keeping track of 6+ dots on your target and a constant debuff that can’t fall off is extremely stressful. Should be under hard or even very hard rank.
This is why I don't play wow anymore. Too many buttons...I have an mmo mouse with 15 buttons...I had it mapped all 15, with shift/all 15...30 total and i STILL had to keybind a bunch of stuff on my keyboard. Just seems they make the characters harder to play and actual gameplay easier...should be the other way around.
@@pizzazzsnudge7800 I was running 22s and mythic raids...raids and m+ are only difficult because min maxing dps is a pain , not because the mechanics are all that difficult. Any group with adequate damage can clear any encounter. You just run into walls when performing your 200 button presses a second get interrupted by run left or run right. Pvp is just broken, has been for a long time.
@@jeremysumpter8939 if you’ve been playing for a long time it’s easy to lose sight of how difficult this content is. Most wow players don’t even attempt it never mind players new to the game. The amount of game knowledge needed to attempt is already way higher than most other games.
With Mage I have to SUPER disagree, its more than an insult.... Fire Mage goes in between easy and middle, Frost goes into easiest, Arcane in between middle/hard.
I think they need to make something like automated rotation possible for a spec, like you configure a macro (in a way easier way, not like typing a script) with the caveat that it takes a certain delay between each action, so you allow more casual players to roll with that. I personally love Fury warrior and the high APM yet dumb rotation it has, but I cant see myself playing the same spec at 40 years old with a creaky hand. I don't know, I don't think the pinnacle of skill should be having to press 8+ buttons consistently, but then again, I wouldn't force every spec to be 3 buttons either, but giving players options should be the ideal
Yup I’d love to play warrior for the class fantasy but my arthritis just does let me do group content with one 🥲 I have to stick to like 3 range classes with specs I can keep up without hurting to bad
The Kephas has a few videos on setting up macros to do this sort of thing. He is a legally blind WoW player that likes to greatly simplify his ability to play classes. I'm not sure if there's recent ones or not, but I remember seeing his videos on them a few years ago.
I stopped balance druid for exactly the reason you said here: it is annoying to play and maximizing is just braindead target switching and button mashing. There is zero finesse in applying dots over and over and over and over and over ... I hope that get's fixed and boomie will be fun again one of these days.
All these streamer telling people to play this class or don't play this class. Acting like they don't remember that this is BLIZZARD and love nothing more then to screw shit up.
Booking scks , I hate what they did with it, why would I ever play that spec over anything else, it's not juste the damage , it's the core gameplay, it looks like it was made by someone who has never played it. It's mind buggling to me

BM hunter feels more bloated than it was in shadowlands and dragonflight, I can't say it is harder to play but some abilities are meaningless. I hate that it doesnt have a well defined aoe, you need to multishot for your pets to cleave and now they added explosive shot as baseline which doesn't make much sense, at least for me. Same for dire beast which could've been a passive. Also the hero talents are not very lore friendly, and the pack one is not too great.
You keep repeating this and I legit don't understand why, FIREMAGE IS NOT HARD TO PLAY probably one of the easiest specs in the game, i do not know why you think it's hard!
Adding class and spec complexity are the low hanging fruit for the developers. More effort and creativity is required in making complex or varied environments and encounters. Class complexity for players follows a similar path as product choice for consumers. Too little is underwhelming. Too much is burdensome. Both cause fatigue. Perhaps a better way of understanding this impact is by understanding that progression based games are a journey. Like going on a three day hike, you'll want to be equipped and prepared for the trek. Whatever extra you bring will weigh you down and add unnecessary discomfort. The greater the burden, the greater the discomfort, the less you'll be able to absorb or enjoy the journey. Except as a gamer, you have the magic to blink your eyes and instantly return to the comfort of your home. You can stop instantly. For a slim slice of people, pain is the enjoyment. However, most people aren't masochists and aren't going to come along for that kind of ride.

Before dragonflight dh had the perfect amount of buttons it would be nice if every class has a limit of 24 buttons max before macros are included etc
Absolutely loved DH in SL and mained it for the whole expansion. Kinda put off on the class nowadays sadly.
Is ele realy still very hard? Tried it on Beta and it feels like a normal caster specc now?!
Ty I needed this
Shadow Priest is a mess =/
Feels like way outdated spec, which was just patched over with new shiny things to cover the holes.
Like .. why do we even still have Vampiric Touch and Shadow Word: Pain -- those are currenly like "token debuffs", which are there more to trigger other effects rather than damage itself.
You can't use your big boy spell untill all the "tokens" are up and running on target(s), and then play maintance mini-game against tank. In dungeons if tank wins and manage to dodge your Shadow Crash - you are 20 sec of DPS behind others.
Interesting take, Void Crash fixes the issue right?
@@MarcelianOnline yeah .. one issue ;-) Still leveling my priest on beta, to really check how it plays in on Max level and M+
I miss legion shadow💔
Me as well, my friend. :(
Arcane feels amazing in Beta!
Sure does!
pretty sure its bugged, dont think it will stay how it is
@@arcane3419 yea I just looked at it again today the talent rework was f*cked
Here's hoping for an ele rework so arcane can go back to being the most complex spec.
for meele coming too ?
bro... I main MM hunter and even new MM hunter is easy to play. Very straight forward rotation with not a ton of buttons to worry about hitting within that rotation. You have extra buttons to worry about for higher level gameplay but lets be real there is no world where MM is HARDER to play than aff or demo.
Hi! What is your rotation?
Loved the tank one
Blizzard: reworking things daylie
Marcelian: Here's your daylie video that is already outrdated when I publish it...
Augmentation has a easy rotation yes but it is not that easy in a raid scenario because of the cd managment.
beast cleave is the only thing that matters for bm.
What?! Arcane isnt the hardest anymore?! Instant quit! :1111
(But finally no more headache from it xD)
As an ele, I'm gonna miss my braindead meatball spamspec! Now I have to think again? Oh naaawww :')
Try a tank class they are brain dead af. You're a dps but you're invincible.
@@gohomehero ah yes thats why I have a bear tank too. Theyre the dumbest out there
Haha you say braindead, yet 90% of all elemental shamans are complete garbage because they are not able to play the piano with all that haste and flame shock management to be able to dps significantly.
@@chronix9784 its easy compared to last season though. But yeah going into a trash pack without magma totem or primwave sucks bigtime
Ele Shaman is more difficult to play than Fire Mage? What???? I must have a part of my brain that’s wired backwards. Got KSH on my alt Ele but when I play Fire Mage I look like I’ve never played before
I like complexity and I love current Ele
Don’t agree with Affliction Lock ranking. Keeping track of 6+ dots on your target and a constant debuff that can’t fall off is extremely stressful. Should be under hard or even very hard rank.
My definition of complex is very different than yours. For me, button bloat is what makes something difficult, proc based gameplay is easy.
100% agree.
Is Balance getting another rework? Looks very underwhelming
Gameplay is only easier if you choose that, there is plenty of extremely difficult content in M+ and Mythic Raids and high ranked PvP
skill issue
I totally agree. For me the fun is playing mechanics and not worrying about min maxing my Dps, even though it shouldn’t be too easy.
aka list of players i can still flame if they parse higher than me
With Mage I have to SUPER disagree, its more than an insult.... Fire Mage goes in between easy and middle, Frost goes into easiest, Arcane in between middle/hard.
do the same for mele dps please
Mage 2 buttons map burn job done 🔥
I think they need to make something like automated rotation possible for a spec, like you configure a macro (in a way easier way, not like typing a script) with the caveat that it takes a certain delay between each action, so you allow more casual players to roll with that. I personally love Fury warrior and the high APM yet dumb rotation it has, but I cant see myself playing the same spec at 40 years old with a creaky hand.
I don't know, I don't think the pinnacle of skill should be having to press 8+ buttons consistently, but then again, I wouldn't force every spec to be 3 buttons either, but giving players options should be the ideal
Yup I’d love to play warrior for the class fantasy but my arthritis just does let me do group content with one 🥲
I have to stick to like 3 range classes with specs I can keep up without hurting to bad
The Kephas has a few videos on setting up macros to do this sort of thing. He is a legally blind WoW player that likes to greatly simplify his ability to play classes. I'm not sure if there's recent ones or not, but I remember seeing his videos on them a few years ago.
ele shaman least easy??? lol maybe arcane is the hardest ele shaman is one of the easiest dude
I stopped balance druid for exactly the reason you said here: it is annoying to play and maximizing is just braindead target switching and button mashing.
There is zero finesse in applying dots over and over and over and over and over ...
I hope that get's fixed and boomie will be fun again one of these days.
pretty accurate for me
Amazing video
J'en vois des tiers list inutile mais celle là ... C'est tellement subjectif et avec une variance tellement énorme ...
Give Demo Metamorphosis back blizz.
We out here
Where we belong!
Cant wait for this same vid to be released 3 more time b/w now and TWW release lol
swap Fire with Aff and Dev Evoker to easy and all good
#BringBackThisIsLiving
Saying Dev is harder than Aug is like saying Frost DK is harder than Unholy DK 😂😂
aug evoker should not be on easy
it's one of the class with the higest skillcap in the game
Ele sham is definitely not very hard, it is currently one of the most braindead specs in TWW.
Aug is a not a dps class! its a support class! :)
You keep repeating this and I legit don't understand why, FIREMAGE IS NOT HARD TO PLAY probably one of the easiest specs in the game, i do not know why you think it's hard!
Why is it easy?
Arcane Hard now ? 😅 its easy
BM hunter most boring spec in the game
We've had worse :D
I reaaaalllly hope survival is fun. I’ve missed it since legion. Never tried bm because of its brain dead reputation.
@@leftyzappa So true, I've mained survival since BFA and from what ive seen it looks really promising in TWW. Not a fan of the sentinel build tho
Nobody holds a gun to your head and makes you play it
@@jinks_hates_things no shit.
Love your content but i sincerely hope the guy at 4:41 was joking....
demo is significantly more difficult than aff imo
that tier list looking sus at the end, just saying xD
In what ways. Genuine question because I’m looking to get back into it
@@GabeRateliff nah the tierlist is good but the form of the tierlist is sus if you know what i mean
