Loved this course and learned so much! Do you ever seal your pressed flowers with anything after they’ve been dried/reconstructed to help with longevity? Or do you keep them all natural?
It varies depending on climate and whether or not they are in direct sun. Some flowers fade more than others. we have a piece from 1998 where some of the flowers still have their color and others do not. We love how flowers look as they age and change. We always say this: tattoos fade, watercolors fade, people age and we love them all the same.
@@flowerpressstudio i had no idea that i need to do that. can you consider in the future for a free courses.try to enroll is so expensive.than you for the free tip
Ha. It’s on our website. The teaser was a very crude teaser. It’s about 2+ hours of no fluff on the course. It’s all about getting down to business. 🙂🙂 you don’t want to be paying someone for a course where you are listening to their life story 🙂🙂
@@flowerpressstudioI'm really tempted to take this class. I've been pressing flowers for a few years I grow all my own flowers, I saw bouquets at the market but have recently gotten into pressing flowers but I have a lot to learn as far as thicker flowers etc and retaining the color!! Going to have a sit-down with the hubby tonight and mention that I want to take this course🎉🎉😅

We haven’t done that. We let them fade au natural style 🥰 and thank you for sharing your thoughts on the course. Always good to hear
I love this “teaser” - but did I miss something? How do I see the full course? Please let me know - I love your work!
Oh it’s on your website. It should be in the description I think of the video. 🙂🙂
Soy cubana y no puedo acceder a ningún curso por la forma de pago y me encanta este arte, habrá alguno gratis.
Sorry about that. If we have time to make more videos we will put them up but right now we don’t have time to make many videos.
How long before they loose color?

What a teaser! I need to know how you press your flowers whole and mold. How do I sign up for your class? 😅

You don’t tell us how to sign up for this class!!
Hi there! It's in the video description :)
why they get brown?
Probably because your technique is wrong honestly. Maybe you are not changing paper enough
