I use biscuits and pocket holes. Biscuits for the face frame and pocket holes for the carcass.

Love that, any time you increase more surface area for glue/adhesion it’s a good day

@@SupernalPaintingUSA Biscuits are really only good for alignment. Not much structural difference.

Love it. You feel it makes alignment easier than clamps and pocket screws?

I saw you say in another video comment that you use an industrial grade product to prime/spray your cabinets before painting them. What type of industrial primer do you use?

Hey Justin! We do. So for Industrial Grade Coatings we really like CIC Coatings 1108 and 1107 primers, their new Primer 1111 is a mix of both and is a great hybrid of both worlds I think

Quick question. Is that prefinished ply? If so, do you have any tips on prep & paint on pre-finished ply?

Hey there! Yes this was a UV 1 Import Birch, so is the purpose to paint on the inside of the cabinets or outside of cabinets? my thoughts would vary pretty greatly depending on what part of the cabinet is being painted

@@SupernalPaintingUSA I was looking at painting the uv cured side.
Nice work on the channel by the way! I think this channel will blow up.

Okay sweet, so painting UV coated side on the outside of cabinets is pretty simple, scuff sand it (but don’t burn through the UV coating, the surface will already be almost perfectly flat to begin with. Then like always prime it (we use industrial grade coatings for that but you could use architectural paint), scuff sand again and top coat. If you play your cards right you could be done with coating/painting it in two coats instead of three
