Thanks Lacey. I walk at least 10K steps a day. It is mentally relaxing as well.
That's awesome! I agree - walking is such a mental health boost :)
Yes love my walks:)) especially walking the dogs, I find when I’m camping/vacation I walk enough to where I’m able to add xtra calories and yet not gain weight👍thanks for all your videos!
Walking is great for keeping those extra pounds off, especially on vacations. :)
I can barely walk these days so I do miss all the walking that I used to do. I just keep gaining weight because I live a sedentary lifestyle.
I'm so sorry to hear you're not physically able to walk as much as you'd like. An alternative to walking that causes less pain could be swimming, which is a great exercise, too - even walking in the water! Perhaps that might be a good fir for you?
I haven't watched you in a long time, you look amazing!❤
Awwww thank you!! Welcome back :)
Ok I'm sold. Besides my Dog would love that!
yay! for you and for your dog :)
I wish I could walk. I have osteoarthritis in both knees & my surgeon said to not walk but to bike or swim. I'm in the process of weight loss so I can get new knees so I can walk. lol
Not now in Germany😰 rain, wind and cold 😢
oh no! well you can work on increasing your NEAT inside where it's warm :)
I walk a lot too. I am back to my high school weight but I don’t look it now that I’m older. I have more body fat but I weight the same. How do I get rid of the extra body fat?
Great question! Body composition can definitely change over time, and the same weight can look very different, which means it's likely your body fat percentage. The best way is to start strength training to increase you lean muscle and that will also reduce your overall body fat.
Should I weight lifting more or cardio more trying to build muscle maintain my weight
For muscle growth, weight lifting is the best option. You'll want to focus on a consistent work out program and consistently add more weight to increase your total load in order to train your muscles to grow and get stronger. :) Strength training and walking are a great combo 👍
