I am thoroughly enjoying learning from your excellent tutorials. Thank you so much. I’m discovering so much more what the KORG PA5X is capable of. I know we have the manuals to learn from but your video tutorials I find much easier to follow. I’ve had a Yamaha Genos since its release and recently purchased the KORG instead of upgrading my Genos. Best of both worlds! The KORG is superb and certainly a learning progress that will achieve excellent results. Thanks again Qui for all your efforts.
Wow, what a keyboard. It makes the Genos 2 look a bit naff and cheesey. At last an arranger keyboard and a real synth in one. Nearly bought a Genos until I saw this. Love all your tutorial videos, many thanks, you saved me a lot of money wasted buying a same old Genos 2 😴
Qui, thank you very much. I have replicated the QR Platinum correction in my Pa5x and, man! It sounds sooo good now! Much better than the standard waves settings! Now, with the 1.3 update there is a new Chord sequencer, a much needed feature in my opinion. Could you make a video about it?
Can you please make a video explaining how to create a 16 track song from scratch using real time recording with built in sounds? I don’t think anyone has made a video on that yet. Technically this thing can play back 32 tracks with cross fader in the middle so you can write big sounding songs was so happy when I discovered that! Love the other tutorials so far thanks for explaining things thoroughly and in a way beginners who never used korg before can understand
Thank you very much for the excellent tutorial. I wanted to ask a question. I wanted to know how I can get the oriental samples to add to my pa5x keyboard. Could you please give me a clue? Again I must say thanks for your great tutorial. I will be waiting for the next of your fantastic sessions ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🙏 Best regards Jakob 🪻🪻
Matrix: Just for info...I use also in the "USER" menu shift and press a free key to enter the "Drum&Bass mode" from the menu to mute all except for Bass, Drum and Percussion. Press the button again and you have all back again. I use also the Matrix on the screen (nr 4)
Hi, I'm interested, when you make a combination of 3 uppers, is it possible to control their volume with a button or a pedal, but without the influence of the lower section. That way you would have true right hand control when the keyboard is in rhythm mode while using the split button. Tnx
Hello QR, First, congratulations for the videos on your channel and your advice, I have a PA5X and your videos have taught me a lot about this keyboard. Since the 1.3.0 update, the Matrix is no longer the same as under OS 1.2.1. Did the KAOSS change everything? When installing the latest update, I had to reload my backup only from my USERS and not in HALL as I did before because that deleted the contents of the menus in the KAOSS. Did you have this problem?
Hi, when you upload a midi project to a synthesizer and record it to a computer by pressing play on the synthesizer, the mix sounds a little better than recording from a program using a midi external instrument
Is there a songbook that will give recommendations of different songs that can be played to a particular style? Example: The style September, are there other songs that would fit this style?
they are the same, if you play a lot of piano sounds then I would go for the 76, if you only play keyboard songs with the chord with your left hand and the melody with your right hand then the 61 is enough.
Sorry to bother you about this again but you had a small segment with piano and a korg wavestate layer you created, great sound, wanted to watch that again, can’t find it
@@quirobinez thx,but this wasn’t the clip I was looking for,I asked if it was a stock sound and you said it was pa5x and wavestate combined,I’ll keep looking appreciate it,it was a short part of one of your vids, very brief.
I googled your name and found a link to your shop, but it seems to be offline. What a pity 😢 Is there a chance to get your sound and style creations anyway?
That are sounds I created myself on the Pa5X, when a sound starts with the characters QR then it's something I created myself, I use these two capitals so I can recognise my own sounds on any keyboard
Hi qui,my pa5x88 just arrived can’t get Yamaha sustain pedal or onstage pedal with polarity switch to work, what sustain pedal do you use or any help?thx
I use a korg pedal, but you can use any pedal. Press the setting button - press the controllers tile - go to the foot tab on the right side of your screen - press the calibration button for the damper and follow the instructions. After that your pedal should work
What an incredible tutorial Qui, I am learning so much about what the Pa5X is capable of. Thank you so much for showing us what we can achieve.
I purchased a korg pa5x 88 a day ago. Get him at home about 3 or 4 weeks. I just can't wait. Thanks for this kind of tutorials. Keep them comming 😊

Many thanks for this video. Hope day to be good to play like this 😋
Nice video. Thank you. Have you ever find how to trigger songbook entries via midi using an external pedal, such as the Nektar Pacer?
Nice video. Where did you get the the sound "QR Floating through space" ?
that is a sound I've programmed myself on the pa5x

Hi, what do I need to do to make the lyrics in Lyrics display on the connected monitor and scroll automatically as the song plays in SongBook?
The syle changes on the song book but not the voices how do I put this to work ?
Very helpful. Thank you for doing these videos. This keyboard has a high learning curve-- especially if you've never owned an Arranger keyboard before

I think it's the bladerunner demo, that one uses a piano and a sound on the wavestate i;ve added to the pa5x ua-cam.com/video/_K8ORl1gWOk/v-deo.html

Aun le falta sus sonidos muy basicos
Why don't you show us how to record song in sequencer...you can't because they didn't put feature in!!! Shame on Korg!!
Thats why the yamaha Genos 2 is the king of keyboard arrangers
