In the Netherlands, it is Barok. Derived from Barock, which is German and probably old Dutch too. A lot of composers were French, but same you can say for German and Italian composers. Since we also had some Dutch composers we're entitled to call it Barok in our own language.

Glad Dr.Mix is having a good time. I'm getting a little tired of these workstation keyboards- unless they have something really unique about them they always get out classed by software sample libraries; all of these sounds can be found in boards 5 to 10 years older (and probably have better build quality). If they can bring joy to someone that's great but not for me.
it's a kind of simpler to Kronos , Korg are doing interesting things , I had a long chat with their sales team & there are good things going on. Sales, Refurbished items on their online store at good prices . Picked up a refurbed D1 piano over £100 cheaper than RRP & it's as new . Some years back I had a triton le fitted with new keybed & they got all the bumps n bruises out of the chassis, plus , it came back like a new synth. I love Korg ... but you sold me on a Yamaha reface YC few days ago. so thanks Doc , keep 'em coming.
I have a few korg mini rack systems and this sounds close to korgs classic presets in a new workstation. This new keyboard is a lovely piece of kit for covering all those iconic 70s through to 90s classics.
Awesome video Claudio!! I am amazed at your musical ability! I have been a Korg fan for many years and own a Kronos 76 which has been my staple performing instrument on stage and in my studio. This new Nautilus sounds like it has a lot of the great sounds the Kronos has plus many new arrangers/sequences. Thank you for posting this video and congratulations again on the new studio!

It is apparent that I have been away from synths WAY too long! Way back when, I used to entertain myself with a friend's Poly-800 and we both drooled over the DW-6000 that was set up at the local music shop. Kind of boggling that I wound up with a Roland Alpha Juno-1, haha! Anyway, one interesting feature that I noticed about the Nautilus in another video is that an existing sustain will continue playing out when you switch to a new patch; it's not like the old days where any sounds were immediately cut off as soon as you changed to a different patch.
Claudio, I have a question. With your experience, and testing the keys. What keyboard? I have a kronos 2 73, and a krome 88 first generation. I want to exchange my krome. Actually I play alone, singing and playing. Producing in my home too. My mind think in 2 options of workstations: change krome in Nautilus or Roland Fantom-0. In live musice I play with midis, like a playback, doing a piano parts. - What considerations do you have for me and others that thinking in Nautilus or Fantom-0? - The missing controllers in Nautilus change the level of playing live music? - The Fantom-0 have a big difference for a big Fantom? - I watch your last videos, and I see a big Fantom, what characterists have weighted for your choice? The Nautilus seems to be a vintage workstation: More than 2000€ /£/$ and no aftertouch. Back to the late 80s with a synth without aftertouch at the price of a 2dn hand car. And made in China.

Somehow the fascia design is going back to the 80-90s grim black minimal, korg M1/T3/Wavestation/01W times.. Maybe the state of global economy to do something with it
It has no aftertouch and no keyboard tbh will ever sound as Kronos because that keyboard is probably the only that has the SSD in it. But the nautilus sounds good for pure PCM. And no aftertouch, that sounds really great. It could be compared to montage and the new fantom.

But the price is just wrong, unless it's not supposed to compete in the midrange market.
Honestly, I like the synth action feel on the 61 key Nautilus, at least from the 2 sessions I spent at the store with it. I can plug in my Casio 88 keys into USB if I want heavier keys, which is a nice feature.

Nautlus is missing aftertouch, Karma, ribbon strip, vector stick, a bay for an optional 2nd SSD drive, a lot of Kronos 2 expansions from 2015, and a lot of buttons and knobs. If you want all of that, just pay $3400 for a brand new 61-key 2015 Kronos 2 and STFUSB. Nautilus is only $2200. It has a 60GB SSD in it like Kronos. Nautlus has some of the expansions from Kronos 2. But Nautilus also has a ton of new 2020 sounds that no Kronos can even get. If Nautilus owners wanted every single sound thats in a bs 2015 Kronos2, they can go to Korg shop and pay $399 for the Kronos sound pack, which includes Ambiance Drums, Berlind D, etc. But Kronos owners cant get any Nautilus sounds like Bass collection, vintage keyboards 2, historical keyboards, etc. Face it, Kronos is an old piece of s^%%, from ten years ago. Nautilus is the new s^^^ b&&^^^!!!!!!
Karma is one of the most powerful pieces of kit to ever grace a workstation. So no, it's not a 'pos' whatsoever. I actually just had an a-list artist ask me to rig 2 triton ex boards for a performance in front of some 20, 000 people. That board is VASTLY older than Kronos. It worked fine. Nautilus has a completely different interface style. You may like, you may not. Use whichever and leave people to their business. Insulting each other over a preferred method is childish and asinine.
It's always a joy to watch you having fun in the studio Claudio :) The Nautilus is now available with KORG M1 presets - free of extra charge. So if someone wants to buy me one for Christmas...

Until this video, I never realized how John Legend's "Ordinary People" sounds so much like "My Cherie Amour." Nice playing! That's a nice board. It does so much, I'd need to take a college course to figure out how to use it.
I don't talk either when I hear such a good player !!! (I cry for not having learnt piano when I was young.. but I was 5 and I could not trust that teacher with horrible long nails torturing me with her pen making 'the little train' pass under my hand forming bridge 😂)

By the way, I was so impressed how easily and skillfully you switched from The Addams Family to Baroque music (J.S. Bach?) on the harpsichord. I admire your skills as well as your vibe - and knowing you in person I know that what people see on video is the real Claudio in the flesh too. Disappointed that they seem to have left the "Karma" function out of this new keyboard or have I missed it in my careful reading of the specifications?
It seems like you need to make another video, just to talk about things like usability, keybed sensation, that strange 4 aux output jacks.... Right now I am sold to the idea of a Yamaha ModX as my next keyboard, but this Nautilus seems to be really something to take in consideration.

It seems like you need to make another video, just to talk about things like usability, keybed sensation, that strange 4 aux output jacks.... Right now I am sold to the idea of a Yamaha ModX as my next keyboard, but this Nautilus seems to be really something to take in consideration.

Very versatile in your musical repertoire. I need a real keyboard. Is it better to get something just as a master keyboard for Cubase? You didn't mention what the keyboard touch felt like. Has it adjustable weighting?
