A guy was going to charge me $150 over the price of the head unit for install. Thanks for saving me from that. in my same kit for 2005 f150 they say to use the provided spacers I noticed you did not use them...why?

Question for ya (Great video by the way). I have a 06 f150 and I want to replace the rear door speakers. I know that there is a factory connector which plugs into the 6x9. If I were to cut that connector off, would I essentially be able to solder the wires to the speaker connectors? Thanks.
