I'm such a sucker for these little moments at special performances in which the actor will belt extra long and the audience is just there for it all, damn.
The actress playing Sheila is wonderful. They are all good. I’m not one to say that the original Broadway cast is always the best, but Kay Cole was right when she was interviewed about the high E in this number, she said, “Yeah, that E, that was mine”.
The actor who plays Sheila is flipping fantastic! Everything about her performance is mesmerizing. If she ever reads this, thank you for such a beautiful and meaningful performance. You were real and it was beautiful.

This song becomes so much sadder when you realize that none of them make the cut in the end.
woah sis that never registered with me
Oh shit! Mind blown!
Didn't Bebe make it?
Kasino80 no :(
@@solarvide0s well I've only seen the movie, unfortunately.
Not very often that you get to see the role of Sheila played with the same honesty that Deidre has
I just wish her costume fit her better. She is so beautiful.
She was horrible and not true to the character.
M M shut up
Mysolas She was horrible!
M M everyone has their opinions and i respect that. but what did she do that is so horrible?

The was absolutely flawless!
i’m pretty sure it was their closing night, so i would savor that moment too
Edward Kleban did an amazing job with the exposition in this song. It's the tragedy of three fragile souls grasping at straws to find happiness.
Vocally, this may be the best version I've ever heard!! All three beautiful women!!
I agree

This is the replacement or understudy for the original 2006 revival of Maggie. That high note is Mara Davi’s.
@@oliviafairley4351 I love Mara!
@@montydog1009 Ikr she’s so good
As Cassie said, "they're all special!"
also, Melissa Lone(Maggie) held that final note for DAYS!!!!!
toad455 She deserves that ovation every night for that note 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Oh my heavens - I'd seen this on Broadway, but THIS Maggie was absolutely fabulous.
The actor who plays Sheila is flipping fantastic! Everything about her performance is mesmerizing. If she ever reads this, thank you for such a beautiful and meaningful performance. You were real and it was beautiful.
Deidre Godwin. She's also one of the Cell Block Tango Six in the Chicago movie.
I love that Cassie is being played by the actor who was the original Val in the 2006 revival! thats so cool!
Melissa Lone (Maggie) is mixing those high notes, but damn that’s one of the brightest mixes I’ve ever heard. Great work!
Of all of the roles of Sheila I’ve seen, Deirdre is my absolute favorite
The one in the movie was pretty good too (Vicki Frederick)
I was in tears at her crescendo! That was absolutely beautiful ❤
I utterly adore this show
Deidre Godwin is magnificent.
Horrible
@@MM-tx7gisomeone’s mad
This Maggie is OUTRAGEOUSLY GOOD!
The best version of this song, vocally. Absolutely magnificent
YES DEE! QUEEN OF THE UNIVERSE
Absolutely gorgeous :,) I teared up at the crescendo
if this is not what i see when i get to heaven, im not dying
BRING DEIDRE BACK TO BROADWAY!
In something that deserves her!!!!!!!!
MAGGIE for the Win!
I’m auditioning for A Chorus Line next month and I’m deciding between Sheila and Val...
Abby Beardsley SAMEEE
Sheila...please!
Excellent! My new favorite.
She HELD that note! 👏
Maggie was amazing!
That's how you slay!
“… No Zach, they’re all special…”
Any Steven Universe fans? Wouldn't the actress who plays Maggie (the third to appear) be the perfect Pearl in a live action movie?
DEFINITELY ! She even sound like her
Dena is iconic!!
still my faves
do you have anything else from the closing performance?? Opening? Finale? Montage?
why am i cryingggg againnn
Maggie. Wow!
Sean, in the movie version, one of the three makes the cut.
Yeah, Bebe
aatb7 buddy,
I don’t think that’s how you reply to comments. 😬
:3 so well executed.
Who is the actor here for Bebe? The normal actor for Bebe is a lot shorter.
No sound?
Deidre is perfect!
So many understudies during this performance.
Probably a understudy night
Thats a fucking note!
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Amazing!!!
What beautiful ladies
あに〜〜〜〜〜が歌ってる🐈
That was awesome! Does anybody know where this was?
This is the 2006 Broadway revival, but the Maggie and Bebe are either understudies or replacements. Diedre Goodwin was in the opening cast.
Worse thing you could have ever told me at Ochoa I gave my life oh. Shut
isn't that maggie a bit old
She probably understudied a lot of the women parts
where was this?
Broadway. This is the revival
Go Maggie.

Nan Maggie
what are the actresses names?
Deidre Goodwin (Sheila)
Dena DiGiacinto (Bebe)
Melissa Lone (Maggie)
Who was Zach in this?
Mario Lopez

I cant even see her face
Maggie's crescendo just sounded loud/screaming. Ya. This woman isn't the original Maggie. Also, that's not Charlotte D'Amboise next to Sheila.
nope, it's actually jessica lee goldyn, she started the revival as val but played cassie towards the end of the run.
Yikes, this is awful.
