Thank you. Now I'm not as afraid to do wing cosplay. I've always wanted to cosplay characters with wings but was really intimidated at the idea of making wings myself or having to spend a lot of money to commission wings. This makes wings seem more in the realm of possibility for me!

I didn't have the opportunity to do a shooting of my (pictured) Yue cosplay because of the whole wings issue, but now I've seen this tutorial, I think I have some hope
I can see why this is your favorite costume like you said. The dress is simple and looks comfortable to wear. Then there comes those giant multi wings which made the costume look amazing even the dress is simple.
Hwahhh I just wanted to thank you again for this tutorial!! I’m con crunching rn and I’m just about done with these wings!! They’re so easy to put on, and instead of binding I use a sports bra, and tie the magnet board to the back straps since I added some slits in the board and put some ribbon through lol- and I’m super happy with the way this looks so far!! So thank you so much for making my dream cosplay become a reality 😎♥️
Love the idea of the magnets and they work well since the wings are so light weight. Might i make a suggestion? I think if you had an underbust corset it might hold the structure better. You wouldnt have to wrap the bandages everytime either and maybe even integrate the panel into the corset. Looking forward to your next cos:)

This is really straight forward and seems like a much easier way to make wings than I originally thought. So thank you for that.

For an idea I'll be wearing one of the Selkie Puff Sleeve dresses I believe they're called?? From what I know about chest binder safety, I have a liiittle concern about the stretchy wrapping! How tight do you have to wrap it up to hold your magnet board piece in place?
Not tight at all! I chest bind daily so this is something I'm very familar with. It's functionally no different than a tube top.

hey im extremely late but i plan to cosplay him when I go to colossalcon in Ohio, I want to be moveable should I just do the head wings?
So I’m planning on making wings like this, but do you use the same type of foam for the big wings that you used for the head wings? If not which kind of foam?

With what did you glue them in place? I have the feeling thst if I glue them with hot glue they lose strength

I was wonder about your head piece, and how you hid what was holding the wings to your head. As when I’m going to be doing a head piece like that but my wig is going to be much shorter.
I just had them attached to a headband the same color as my wig!

Just hot glue
