- Today, let's explore the deep bond shared between John Ritter and Henry Winkler, uncovering a touching moment that occurred just an hour before Ritter's passing. Remarkably, Winkler, Ritter's close friend, was present on the set of "8 Simple Rules" on the very day Ritter passed away.
He was such a good actor. I miss him
Yes I agree John Ritter a awesome actor sad he passed away May John Ritter RIP 💐 is missed
I do to. 😢
Same here😢
Google Ritter's rule. He died from Ehlers Danlos that was diagnosed too late. Aortic dissection.
He was terrible. Extraordinarily melodramatic.
Rest In Peace John Ritter 🙏🙏🙏🙏
I wonder what he was about to blow the whistle on...
He is at peace if he followed Jesus Christ
Amen. You are missed my friend.❤
🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
❤a Great Human..he definitely was❤
I loved John Ritter from the time I watched him on Three's Company every week without fail, when I was really young and still love him. He was one of the nicest and down-to-earth celebrities.
He was one of the best comedian and I love three's company very much and I still do we will miss him
When I was little, he was the pastor in the Walton's series. He was always great.
Me too! 1972!
I still miss John Ritter. He was real funny, real, and down to earth. "Three's Company" is still funny like the "I Love Lucy" shows. R.I.P. John Ritter and Lucille Ball. ❤❤
I loved him as Jack Tripper. He did a wonderful job and I loved his physical comedy too. Even though it’s a very small part, I love the character he plays in Badder Santa. 😂
His last words were "I love you" to his woman before he was wheeled back in the ER. She responded "I love you too".
Wasn’t he gay?
@@joanna.thorntonNo. He was married to a woman named Amy Yasback.
No he said that to Kaley Cuoco

He was amazing. Growing up on threes company. His physical humor was amazing
Losing john ritter was a major tragedy he was an icon to television.

How totally true!! ❤
Rest in peace John Ritter 🙏 🙏❤️❤️
I’m still sad about John Ritter passing away.😔 He seemed like such a good guy.😊
If you grew up watching three's Company, this one hurt. Absolutely adored the guy.
I remember when John Ritter played Ben Healy on Problem Child.😊 He was the ideal father every child should have growing up.👍🏽
From what I have read he wasn't a nice person. There are several stories of him being a complete dick to fans (even kids) for no reason. I don't know if they're true or not, I just know that there are more that a couple stories floating around.
Never heard any bad rumors about John. Hard to do in Hollywood. Miss 'em.
No it's not hard, just stay in your lane and live by your principles.. People wanna blame everyone and everything for their actions..

Otherwise, know that slander is one of the greatest sins I know of. The murder of a reputation. And you just played fast and loose with a man's needlessly. An indefensible action.

His passing took us all by surprise. Still miss the man.
I love John Ritter. Miss him. Till this day , 5/18/24. I still watch "Threes Company".❤
Though that show was prior to my birth I used to watch the reruns and started watching it again since we can now stream. He was a sweet and talented man.
So do I. I like to remember those memories.
Such a likable guy lost too early

I wonder if Thelma Ritter was related to tex or John Ritter
I never knew 😀 thanks for the additional information
Jason Ritter (John's son) is married to Melanie Lynskey.
I have an extremely large Abdominal Aortic aneurysm 6.8. Surgery was supposed to be done but my heart decided to try to blow up instead and had to have emergency surgery for that. Recuperating from that 4 weeks now. All the doctors involved with me are conversing in when to fix the aneurysm before it is too late. 😮 Wish me luck
God bless and comfort you and good luck to you as well!
They found both problems and prioritized them! Count yourself fortunate and I’m sure they believe you’re going to make it to the next surgery

My problems and worries seem so miniscule compared to others, wishing you the best, stay positive
Good Luck. I hope everything goes well for you. ❤
I loved him so much that I mourned his death as if I’d lost a best friend. What an amazing man he was. This post brought me more tears 😞😢😢
I felt the same way, grew up watching 3s company. 😢
I cried so hard too
RIP John…. was actually upset when i heard about it!! Loved watching Jack and Mr Furley ❤
John is still sorely missed :(
RIP..Such a good actor and he seemed like a really awesome guy. He is missed! ❤❤
It’s weird red that you say that. Who knows what he was really like. Look at all the disgust in Hollywood today
Yeah well, he may have been a good guy in his late years but, he cheated on his wife multiple times with guest stars on three's company. According to his co stars, he banged almost every one of the guest stars on the show. So yeah, when you watch the show, and see one of the many hot guest stars, just say Johnny boy smashed that in his trailer. 😂
@@2815Juanalthough I do agree that Hollywood has always been a cesspool we usually hear the truth of how people really were in their private lives after passing. I remembered being sooo disgusted after watching Bob Sagets stand up routine! He was definitely part of the cesspool. But I've never heard or seen anything negative about Ritter whatsoever, from the time he played the Pastor on the Waltons to his last episode on 8 Simple Rules. He really seemed like a good guy that avoided all of the nastiness of Hollywood. At least I hope he did.

R.I.P to them both

One of my favorite Slingblade quotes! Karl is so sweet to Vaughn & doesn't think just because he's gay, God won't throw him into Hades because he treats Frank & everybody so kind. 😢
Karl (Actor Billy Bob Thorton): I don't reckon you have to go with women to be a good daddy to a boy. You been real square-dealin' with me. The Bible says two men ought not lay together. But I don't reckon the Good Lord would send anybody like you to Hades. That Frank, he lives inside of his own heart. That's an awful big place to live in. You take good care of that boy.

Vaughan Cunningham ( Actor John Ritter): I will. Karl?
John Ritter The best comedian ever . He makes the world laugh out loud every time we watch Three’s Company. The best sitcom ever created in television history.

Your comment makes me think their is more to the story.. in the past blood sugar levels were hidden as a cause of death
I thought he died from an aortic rupture.
@@cherylkoenig5509 sounds right
@@cherylkoenig5509That is correct. Is not something most cardiologists randomly test for. Could even occur in very fit individuals. However, strict control of blood pressure and regular vigorous exercise will go a long way. Also, any diet without oatmeal is a plan to avoid.
Always liked John, what caused his death was a very difficult thing to spot. Luck of the draw if the doctors, surgeons can spot it quick enough.
my dad went in for an emergency while he was there they did blood tests and felt some thing was up. They did a scan of his Aorta and saw it was enlarged to 7cm.. they had im in surgery within a Couole if weeks ,,in the morning out the afternoon full aortic stent. Shoved that thing up a leg artery and opened a new aorta. The following he had 3 minor stents put in ...went in The morning and out the afternoon...it was a world wind.

Ritter had an Aoric Dissection which is almost always fatal unless treated immediately.
Richard Biggs of Babylon 5 died of that at 44 in 2004.
Yes he had an aortic aneurysm that dissected and is almost always fatal if not caught early. The emergency room missed the diagnosis and he was in good enough shape that they could have performed life saving surgery. I had a golf ball sized (ascending) aortic aneurysm that was only discovered during cancer treatment this year. Probably would have burst within in a year or two with no signs or symptoms. Had successful surgery to replace a section of my aorta and supposedly now at 61 can expect a normal life span, so my cancer actually saved my life.
@@alanaldpal950 Thank goodness.

It's a tragedy what happened to John, he died a young man, i'm now the same age as he was when he died, he was a great actor, and will never be forgotten, May he rest in peace.
Remarkably.Resist the Devil and he will flee from you.
Yes, I was condemned in my sleep,by a dead man.
I won't be disrespectful.
I saw 2 mulustful men in my sleep.
One had humility and he let the cats in.
Some of them had already been dead.We were talking and getting along with each other .
Then l saw the other man and he was against my ex husband and my relationship,l believe it was because he done his granddaughter wrong.
If l can speak to these men after them, looking at me, and being nasty.
The Bible says to let the filthy be filthy still. One man would curse the name of God, and everything that he spoke a nasty word in every sentence, that he spoke.
They both were nasty to my Grandma.
You won't do this in my presence.
I am lead to speak about this.
My ex husband family, would go to church and come back home cursing God.
Then it turned into verbal abuse, and were sometimes too rough on me and my children.
My exhusband never spoke up for us.
So ,l thought God help me.
I don't want to live with people abusing us, like my Momma , abandoned me and stayed with her husband.
So, God what do I do in this situation.
Some man had been talking to me, so God was you want to get rid of this man?
Just act like you are wanting the other man.
He doesn't spend time with you and the kids.
So there was a fight and he left.
Later other men were not right, and I wound up with my husband.
Now men are wanting after me, when I am married.
One of the Men was hollering at me about the nurses were killing him and l didn't know how to respond.
So he could be against us.
I was in my cousins house and we were making food, and she was gripping about cleaning up.
So we were done, and I cleaned up.
God has been revealing stuff.
I have no bitterness to anyone, today.
But I am allowing God to comfort us.
Sounds like the Fonze slipped him a mickey, just saying
