Hi interesting to see, personally I’ve just been fitted for callaway ai 300 against g430,it was obviously my choice as on the Monitor the callaways were 5/6yds longer BUT…..and it’s a big but I only hit them on the monitor! On the course I couldn’t hit/get along with the Callaways bizzarely I know. I also hit the Callaways on another monitor and the yardages were only the same as my old g400’s! I’m very confused and obviously frustrated at this out come. I’m going back today to see the Pro….. I wondered what your thoughts were?
From what you’ve said I would advise dismissing the Callaways on the grounds that you’ve tried them outside and it didn’t go well, the G430s should go fractionally further than G400s mainly based on being 1 degree stronger in loft. They should be a little bit more forgiving aswell as Ping do develop properly every time in this area. Potentially G430s could feel a bit softer also thanks to internal changes. Sounds like maybe dig a bit deeper into G430 trials.
got fitted for the i530 , tried all the other brands and the g430, have a slow swing speed and high handicap, the i530s just were so consistent felt so good and look amazing too, playing with recoil dart 75g reg graphite at standard spec ,had them at power spec as fitter thought might be better but found flight too low so Ping changed them to standard for me , can't recommend enough
Good to hear and shows they are indeed a close competitor to G430 in terms of who can use them. Power spec is potentially a step too far with these though, very strong lofted to start with.
I tried the 430s and 730s and the 430!s worked best and are cheaper the 530 seem much smaller which could be a good thing but again as you show quite a bit more expensive
The G430s are really good. Especially considering how much cheaper they are, not exactly give away prices themselves but a meaningful saving. The suit a lot of people .
Would love a comparison between the current ping irons vs their irons from 15-20 years ago
Yes, I'll see if I can find one somewhere.

Cheers,really appreciate your thoughts.👍
How about AI Smoke, HL & Max Fast as Callaway options?
@ I tried the Smoke didn’t like the look of them so I’ve been back to my Pro today and I’m changing back to Pings G430🤞👍⛳️
Great video, i have to say those I 530's are nice clubs to have in the bag.
Yes, they are, think I'm probably going to end up with a set myself.
