    Recently I have installed it in my Volvo s60 T5 2015, easy to plug in, Not only I can feel the quick response of the car now, its seems to have more horse power, love it

      Hey Motaz that is great! Super glad you have had a good experience. I am still using my GAN GT every car trip three years later. I still give it a full recommend based upon my experience. I hope you enjoy!

    That is a good jump. I am glad someone finally did a dyno run with one of these. I have been thinking about putting one on my Audi RS5 and have been looking for a dyno review. Thank You for the Video!

      Glad you found it helpful! I continue to be very satisfied with the GAN GT. I will be providing a video update soon focused on my first six months of actual use.

    Thanks for your review! You convinced me to purchase the Gan Ga+ for my '15 Infiniti Q50 S 3.7 L which is an NA engine. So far it's been great! Throttle response is way better and I feel that it pulls harder especially driving on the highway and from a dig.Wish I could get on a dyno though and find out the hp&tq gains! For me, I say it was worth the purchase 👍

    Did you finish the tuning adaptation for 120km for fine tuning the ecu before run on dyno after plug in Gan Gt?

    • @DoubleD9947
      @DoubleD9947  2 роки тому +1

      Hi Ibnu, yes I did. Once I had the GAN GT installed it was 29 days between dynos and during that time I put over 300km on the car to ensure I had a valid test.

      @@DoubleD9947 so how is your car now still using Gan Gt? What modification that you do after plug in Gan Gt..from what i know if you change to perfomance air intake and exhaust you can get more hp with Gan Gt..suppose turbocharge car cam get higher hp and torque rather than NA car..

    • @DoubleD9947

      @@smgees I am still really enjoying the GAN GT; it has been a great modification to my car! My next upgrade is a performance air intake, which I have recently installed and am working on a video for it now. According to my research the air intake can provide a nominal HP increase, but I am excited to share my findings. So far I haven't done anything to the exhaust.

      @DoubleD9947  2 роки тому

      Unfortunately according to the GAN website it doesn't look like they have a tuning module for a 2021 Hyundai Sonata 1.6T. You could make a purchase inquiry via email at as a double check, but at first glance it doesn't appear to be available.

    Any difference in terms of performance between this one and the OBDII (GAN GA+) model? I'm looking for a plug & play expereince.

    • @DoubleD9947
      @DoubleD9947  Рік тому

      Hi @theuncanspan. I did not try the ODBII (GAN GA+) before I purchased the GAN GT, so I can't comment based upon user experience. I can tell you the GAN GT isn't particularly difficult to install. It does go under the hood, but full instructions are provided. There are some installation videos as well as online instructions you can review before you make a final selection.

    Did this help you with gas ?

    • @DoubleD9947
      @DoubleD9947  Рік тому +1

      No, but I bought the GAN-GT with the goal of improving performance knowing that it would likely compromise my gas mileage. Of course gas mileage is highly influenced by how much you hammer down on the accelerate pedal, but when I was testing for gas mileage (same road, same speed, same distance) I noticed a reduction of about 2 miles per gallon in my fuel economy with the GAN-GT active.
      I haven't checked fuel economy in a while, so it might be interesting to run it again and see what I come up with. Thanks for the idea!

    Worth the money? Would it improve my Renault Megane IV 1.6 16v 115hp? Looking for performance improvement and mpg as well! Appreciate ur feedback. About to get one, still hesitating. Is it German made? Thanks!

    • @DoubleD9947
      @DoubleD9947  3 роки тому +2

      Although I am not familiar with the Renault Megane IV 1.6 16v 115hp, I am assuming this is NOT a turbo charged engine. The GAN GT primarily changes the performance characteristics of the turbo charger, which provides the HP and performance improvements that I mentioned in my review. GAN does make a chip tuner for engines without a turbo charger, but my research leads me to conclude that the performance gains by chip tuning (regardless of the chip tuner brand) a non turbo charged engine might be small. However if you are still interested in chip tuning your Renault the GAN website recommends the GAN GA+ for your vehicle.
      Based on my experience, I have not found the GAN GT to provide any improvement to MPG.
      I can confirm that the product is German made.
      Let me know if you have any other questions. I hope this helped!

      @@DoubleD9947 yes GA + is the one I'm looking for, and this link have the product for my car: www.gantuning.com/chiptuning/renault/megane-iv-2016-/1-6i-115hp-156nm-156nm/ I was hoping that this GA+ combined with my current fitted induction kit can make big diff together! Mine is not turbo charged.

      @@DoubleD9947 between GA + and RaceChip, both are German but RaceChip has more popularity on UA-cam, but the cable must be attached to MAP and MAF sensors and connected to the device in the other side. Not familiar with this setup, also afraid from it! I'm basically a Mechanical Engineer working in Automotive quality field but I have no experience in chip tuning boxes and how they work (only re mapping) also the setup type that attach two connectors to MAP and MAF sensors sounds like trying to trick readings! And send false signals to the ECU. Don't know, afraid of it! What do you think? Thanks man!

    • @DoubleD9947
      @DoubleD9947  3 роки тому

      @@TuningLovers When I was looking for a chip tuner I ultimately selected the GAN product over the RaceChip product due to its affordability (lower price) and the fact that it included the ability to control it via my smart phone. The GAN also claimed a greater HP gain than the RaceChip for the Alfa Romeo, although I did not find the GAN lived up to it’s marketing claim of a 48HP increase. I only achieved a 23HP gain. However in your case the RaceChip claims a larger HP gain, but it is at a pretty significant price premium.
      Even if you have limited mechanical skills you can install a chip tuner. The toughest part is just getting the cables zip tied and looking neat. Based on your background I am sure you could do it!

    • @DoubleD9947
      @DoubleD9947  3 роки тому

      @@TuningLovers I don’t think that chip tuning is trying to trick any of the sensors because doing so would probably cause a bunch of error codes and warning lights on your dashboard. Chip tuning is just a way to extract a bit more performance out of your factory power unit.
      Another point to consider is that both GAN and RaceChip have a warranty on the product as well as the engine on which they are installed. That should help give you some measure of confidence in the quality of the product as well as the fact that it won’t damage your car.
      I can only speak to my experience with GAN and my Alfa Romeo, but so far I have had zero mechanical issues since installing the GAN GT.
