I built a small camper, starting with a scratch built aluminum trailer, then 5/8 inch hardwood plywood for the exterior, an inch of polyiso insulation and 1/4 plywood for the interior. I covered the frame with black Monstaliner and the cabin with desert sand Monstaliner. One thing I noticed in this video is that he didn't do the base coat prep work that Monstaliner says is critical. We (my wife and I) started with sealing all of the wood with spar urethane before we assembled anything. Then the frame was painted with automotive primer (all of the metal parts of the camper that were covered with the Monstaliner were primed first). For both wood and metal, we covered everything with the 'required' coat of Monstaliner's 'chassis saver'. Then we rolled on the actual Monstaliner top coat. I'm not sure that leaving out the base coats will result in a long lasting finish.

Great show of patience it’s looks great. I have used this stuff many times on Jeep bumpers and trim pieces. They need to address the roller issue. The rollers fall apart during the second coat almost immediately due to the thickness. Word of advice clean once ever 4-5 months with 303 protectant spray it makes the paint pop again.

I got some black monstaliner to roll on for my new bumper but I think I'm going to see how much it will cost to have it sprayed on for the body. Good job though for doing it in a parking lot.
