Honestly got more shinny drops just doing it regular 10 waves on matchmaking. 50 is too long honestly gets boring.

Managed to get a dope roll on a variant version of the Falling Guillotine. The first column has vorpal and relentless and the second has whirlwind and surrounded.

Ive gotten so many shiny weapons by just playing the playlist
that math is completely inaccurate, except the fact that 50 waves chances of choking in 30plus and 40plus becomes really high. regardless of how good you are going one tiny mistakes in those can just wipe you out. not too mention it doesn't really increase shiny drop so why bother unless you want to do it for fun or emblem which is of course great.
If you have a good team its extremely rare to actually fail wave 50 runs

@@weeaboojones7713 if you get back to back tormentor/demo rounds or those rounds in close proximity (later in the run) you're usually gonna wipe cause you can't get enough hp back on the ADU no matter how good you are
@kaifajdiga4667 that's why o. The tormentor rounds you're not supposed to be near the ADU because the tormentor doesn't care about the ADU. It's after you.
@@adarkwind4712 I'm aware. The tormentor round also has heaps of ads which ARE in fact going for the ADU. So if you get tormentor round and demo round back to back, it's incredibly difficult to persevere.
I feel like onslaught is the best way to get tokens but if you're after the shiny weapons it's a no-go

Idk if you figured it out but I'm pretty sure its an opacity setting so you can make it more or less see through
My luck the first 2 weeks was amazing, as soon as I started going for the Hammerhead shiny godroll, my luck became non-existent, I've gotten about 70+ regular Hammerheads but got both Rampage + Killing Tally and Envious Assassin + Killing Tally on the regular Hammerhead. It's insane...
Just doing 10 waves I focused on Midnight Coup because I want no other gun and was averaging 1 every 40 minutes or after 2 hours on 3 different occasions I had 3 each time for a total of 9 and but only one of those was decent while none were the roll I’m after.
The game became much more generous over the last few months during the “troubles” but the GRIND is back and sabotage or entourage or whatever it’s called can - my - while I play some other games until next season.
Wish this activity actually gave a decent amount of materials, as someone who only started again in season of the wish im always out of mats and getting like 2 cores is absolutely insulting.
Wouldn’t even worry tbh. Shards about to be removed and you can slap on mods to the ghost to farm prisms and cores. For shards harder activities like legend and master anything. Alloys seem to drop waaaay more then they used to
Legend lost sectors are a good source of cores. Wait til it's a fast one and then go ham.
I mean it's made for getting weapons not cores
@@ShadowOfEntropy that's what I do but they're boring as fuck, I wish the core activities actually gave you a good amount but I know it's to drive up player retention ect. I have good gear but am constantly at 0 ascendant shards a handful of prisms and like 50 cores because I want to try new weapons.
@@Wesleysnipes87 literally no reason it can't drop both other than to make you endlessly grind, especially considering the final shape is on its way it would be nice for returning players to get more materials now to gear up.

I farmed kali last week and got 1-2 trophy of bravery tokens each time. Back to back each run took about 3-4mins (loading in took longer than the fight). So over 20/h
I did normal onslaught and got a shiny recluse in 3rd run I think it’s totally rng so legend or normal play whatever I’ll stick to normal and probably get more drops then grinding out legend.
Shiny is rng but legend 10 wave farm is better because you get 2 chests at the end of boss wave instead of 1 so you have more of a chance of pulling a shiny

Here’s something that is actually useful: you can repair decoys and turrets by throwing a battery at them a few times!

I have been playing onslaught since it launched only have gotten 2-4 shiny weapons and that was on the first 2 days and haven’t gotten one since.
That’s ducking insane, I swear I have good bungie drop rate cause I’ve gotten over 20
i prefer to farm 50 wave normal while being semi afk. Its just half the loot of legend but i can use 99% less braincells. I dont care much about the "shinys" cause the only one thats worth would be edge transit and the destiny team already did a post about the other cascade point bug where they mentioned that they will look into the envious/cascade of edge transit and will probadly nerf it. I dont get the point about having a weapon with multiple rolls cause switching a single weapon infight is faster than switchting the entire loadout to switch the perks. I dont get the point of having 2 rolls on 1 weapon when i can simply have 2 weapons with the different rolls
Yep. Finding randos that are actually somewhat decent is nearly impossible in legend, so I'm just going to farm regular unless my clanmates want to do it.
Seriously though, I run Cenotaph Gjally and my teammates ALWAYS hold onto their heavy and never use it. Even with the free heavy crate, they still don't use heavy.
"Oh, you're using Gjally? Imma use Leviathan's breath and not shoot it a single time!"

Y do u have to use braincells in legend?? There's no real change from normal to legend other then we r nerfed and the enemies r bullet sponges that hit like tanks... That's bungies "difficulty" its a joke. But yeah i do agree normal all the way legend is to time consuming.

Nope,you can just play Normal mode !
You can play normal or legend, no difference. The only difference is the amount of loot you get.

Yes, but again, RNG. Make sure you attune the weapon you want first.
I just do the normal 10 rounds Onslaught. So far, I got 1 shiny
Got 5 shiny 2 recluse 2 elsie 1 jury just from normal 10 wave not bothered legendary once
I have attuned to Recluse since tuesday. After so many hours i can proudly say that shiny weapons are a myth.

@@shaunmacready701 It's hard to tell. I was farming legend because it was easier for me personally and quicker than master. It wasn't A LOT of coins but, once I got my load out set and how to run it efficiently (about 90s on the perdition the other day) I was getting coins almost every run. I ended up with like 80 coins when I was done farming. I'd have to check again though.
@@iconic8986 to be fair, I don't think it's a lot of coins in a single run but it adds up when you can speed run it efficiently.

Nice job. For me, as soon as the "attunement" feature turned out to be complete bullsh!t, I added this to Gambit, Trials and all of Crucible, i.e., my Sorry-Not-Interested list. For all the recent hype, BUNGiE still knows how to completely fvck up what could otherwise be a really good thing.
I attuned to Recluse and have been getting Recluse a lot more than everything else.
Completing 50 waves on Legend should drop a shiny weapon everytime.

50 waves should legit yield more rewards, they're not just harder and take longer but also require more coordination and the chances of getting shiny arent even higher apparently!

Does the chest by Shaxx and brave engrams have a chance to drop shiny weapons, when I completed a tier 3 bounty I got a shiny.

Weapons can randomly drop as engrams during Onslaught too, average of 1 every 100 waves. So around 29 to 30 weapon drops for each 2 wave 50 clears.

Take your pick, it doesn’t affect drop chances.

They drop from Normal and the chest beside Shaxx. I don’t think Bungie wants to ruin its community more by gatekeeping shinies on Legend especially if you’re a solo player not bothered by LFGs or Fireteam Finder. It’s just the drop rates are very bad.

If you are farming the first 10 waves, please don't do it with random teammates, especially in Legend verson
When I do this, I usually put in farming for the listing titles. I usually also type in the team chat farming the first 10 - 20 waves.
