In this snowboarding at Cardrona Resort in New Zealand and giving a local snowboarding Nivea a few tips for riding switch, Ollies and carves. Thanks for watching! - Спорт
Yes I know her she's one of my friends and she's such a great snowboarder and friend!
That’s amazing!
@chewiesocksfor09sharkboy55 that's what friends are for you are amazing!🫶
Yo Kevin awesome video as always!! Can you do a tutorial on how to get off gnarly 2-3 person chairlift that launches you at the top with a steep run off?
Yes I can, those things are tough!
Yeah switch isnt easy for some as others , my youngest son can’t do the tricks I do but rides switch likes it’s natural, if I hit a jump I can’t do 180s it has to be a 360 otherwise I lose momentum bringing the nose around and it looks like I’m at the beginner stage again 😂
What I do to practice is when I’m teaching my friends or riding with my son I’ll try to ride switch most of the day. I think it sort of helps them see that I’m also trying to do something difficult as they are. Also keeps me riding at a slower pace with them
I hate when people say "loading up the tail".. it does nothing to explain to a new person actually how.
Weight shifting, by nose poking your board forward does a better job to engage the flex of the tail to spring an Ollie from.
But what would I know, only been riding for 23 years 🤷
I’ve got ya beat with 27 years. Start loading up that tail 😉
27 years and you ride like that...@@SnowboardProCamp
Well that's a dick response. Congrats. @@SnowboardProCamp
