Accu-Stats, can't thank you enough for these great matches. Outstanding contribution to the sport.
Thank you! Thank you!
I m very pleased to learn that Parica has pioneered the Pool players association & that he is publicized as the pool player that Efren Reyes emulated. Thanks, & keep up the good work.God bless you! Mabuhay, Philippines!
Thank God, finally a video without Danny slurring on the mic
Thank you as always for sharing/uploading these entertaining classic matches & players!!
Glad you like them!
GREAT vid. Thanks. I have dozens of old accu-stats VHS.
Ive been away from pool for about 7 years. I used to binge watch these kinds on videos. Thank you for posting these. I really hope to get back to the table.
You are so welcome!
heh, same for me.. I haven't been inside a pool hall in about 10 years.. I miss it, just not the crowds. Still love watching pool though. I bet I could still run a rack or two, just off muscle memory.. ;)
That shot where he was straight, and the way he made the ball move is unbelievable
One of the best shots I've ever seen. Couldn't believe it and not sure how he created the angle. When Keith was rolling....
Thank you accu-stats. A fine match and great shooting by Keith McCready.
it's a shame that it took Jose Parica many many years to get into the hall of fame.he is a great player and should have been in there a long time ago
"Don't choke now, It's not that hard of a shot" Keith McCready.
Thank you Accu-stats!
My pleasure!
bruh became one of my favorite players instantly
People don't realize how good Keith was when he was rolling. Some of the shots here are amazing.
Keith came into the pool hall injured one week he had crushed his finger with a hammer or something. He was playing the tournament and playing pretty well… he made a good out and then yells out to the crowd “here I am injured playin in the tournament most guys would be at home crying for a glass of milk”.
Idk if he used that line often but I always remembered it
A nostalgic and pleasant return to the former generation of Pocket Billiards elites.
My two favorite players to watch are Keith and CJ.
On my short list of all-time favorites: Keith McCready.
Gotta love the old school, no break cues for McCready. ✊
38:35 my lord what a clean hit!
Seriously. He has a laser straight cue action. Which you wouldn't expect just looking at his technique.
@@jasonparker6138 genius. part of that genius is the setup and stroke though. if you set the tip on the right spot the stroke doesn't have to be very complicated.
Drago plays the same way.
just hit the spot you lined the tip up at.
Great match thanks for sharing
Glad you enjoyed it
The Earthquake has the shortest backstroke but he knows all the tracks, the master of inside english and banks. "How ya doing Effy?". .950, OMG
Great match, keep the uploads coming!
More to come!
Always a pleasure to watch Keith play.
Fun to watch. Great interview w Keith at the end.
thanks for this one!!!!
My pleasure!
Keith is certainly a crowd pleaser. His sidearm stroke is a bit unorthodox but it works well for him. I haven't seen or heard much about Jose Parica in recent years. Fun and entertaining match to watch. Thanks for uploading another treasured video.
Jose is still playing. Looking for action a race to 1000 for 100,000.00. Pretty impressive for a guy his age!
A legend of great magnitude.
..apparently Keith didn’t spend any of his vast winnings on dental work 😂
Coke head, crack head.
When you've got the talent the money and the women you don't need em.
Keith has come back from a major addiction. Props to him for beating it. The facial ticks he has gives it away.
You sure he still wasn't on that sniffy stuff
@@DarianG98 could be. Lol
He is truly a legend.. A legend in meth... :)
Beating it? Looks a little coked out to me🤦🏽♂️
Always love watching Keith win I remember when he told everyone why he shoots with his wrist like that.. him and Jeannie living the good life in DC
Keith is amazing. love this video. he's so far beyond what most people can understand.
Great match , more McCready please
I'll extremely enjoyed the match. Keith played really well. Thank you Accu-Stats.....
You are welcome!
He wouldn't have played well if it wasn't for meth. :)
@@evanb.4308, we all have demons.
Accu-stats should be embarrassed of this clown. Fucked up teeth that he keeps showing, bad complextion, fidgeting constantly. When drugs and booze is a part of your life from day one this is the end result.
@@AccuStats What were their ratings then?
He uses that side arm action because when he was very young the tables were too tall for him.
That and he was very small and weak he could swing the cue harder like that and stuck with it.
p
After winning a world tournament in Las Vegas, my very good friend Jimmy Fusco came back to Phila. and brought Billy Incardona with him, and they came to the pool room on Cottman ave for a $10 entry fee winner takes all. There were 100 entries so I went up to the sheet on the wall to see who I drew and it was Billy Incardona. It was a race to 9, I played him and beat him and who do you think had to play next: my very good friend Jimmy Fusco, he beat me 9-7 and said Ronnie I can't believe how great you are playing, he passed away and there will never be another like him-Ron Cerelli The Legend
Bit of a legend yourself there Ron! Thanks for the story..
What a difference from then to today. No silly shirts. Players having a smoke. McCready takes a pull off a beer.
Yup. Now we get robots sipping on fruit smoothies. Sucks
“Back in my day”

Legend is back 😁😂
Old but GOLD
AWESOME
Jose Parica vs Simon Cowell
Know Keith from Hard Times in So Cal. People don't realize just how good Earthquake really is. Where are you Keith?
ive heard hes in DC
And the stagger inn he can talk some shit but his stick speaks pretty loud to
Me and Kieth used to be roommates back in the 90s . We both lived in Berle Gabbards house in Knoxville Tn. I worked for Berle at Knoxville Billiard club and was hangin out in the pool room and took on anybody that would play him . We would play 6 ball on the snooker table with regular size balls. Played a lot of golf on the snooker table too. Anybody ever play golf on a snooker table ?
Golf on a snooker table! You bet. That was back in the 70's. Damn good betting game.
Idiot comments on here piss me off. I guarantee none of you ran a rack in your lives
I bet ur mader have nice crack 🎉
You're correct. Most are probably bar table warriors who couldn't list a great player other than Reyes. If they'd do their research, they'd understand that McCready was one of the greatest natural talents the game has ever seen.
This is a man with a great beer buzz playing a sober guy.
This probably has to be one of the most painful times in Parica’s career
Respect to the leader of u. s invasion Amang parica.
Amang Parica opened the gate for filipino billiard players to invade US pool.
@@rogieramilo8574 sir saan na po si amang parica ngayon
So many haters here yet none of them would stand up and bet this man a quarter a game
I’ll do a quarter a game, lol. What’s a quarter... ? I do it just to say I did it. I been losing all my life, what’s one more time, lol
I’d definitely play him for a quarter a game. I wouldn’t expect to win, but I’m not a hater either. He’s definitely an interesting character though.
Incardona is wrong about the years. McCready was at his best about 1977 thru 1982. Earlier than he said and not very long. After that his lifestyle took its toll.
I thought that was Grady Seasons. Lol
When Bill says he knows Keith well, that's an understatement. Around 1990-91, they were both at a tournament in Memphis, Tn. McCready talked a local furniture store owner into backing him for $500/game against Bill playing banks. Keith hardly made 3 banks in any game and spent the entire time complaining about everything from the table to the lighting and the music being too loud. Bill wound up winning 4 games straight and the secret later came out that Keith agreed to dump and they'd split the money. It was something to watch.
Two brothers and a stranger.
They are kinkis idiots, pretending and stealing money to everyone.
Good match.
please upload the final
For all the knockers, Keith wasn't a tournament player , he was a gambler, big difference in many aspects, . His personna was to make people want to beat him so bad , that they lost a lot more than they meant to trying.
The gambling life takes its toll on everybody, no exceptions.
And his stakehorse for many years Berle gabbard lives here in Knoxville TN talked to Keith the other day when he was talking to him he lives in DC now with his girlfriend jeannie ann sitting to his right I believe and is doing extremely well.used to watch him play a lot when I was much much younger never missed and was always a very cool person
so was parica, and a feared one too. and parica is almost ten years his senior. i think we all know what the difference is here, william
Yes but a great life when nine ball is at its finest hour
@@chriscripplercruz1833 I remember Berle, I haven't seen him for probably 30 years.
@@pechinma Glad to see some knowledgeable people. That way the game never dies
First time knowing keith's personality. This is fun
The most fun ever. Amazing video out there where he runs over Effren and is hysterical.
When are we going to get a match with Incardona playing?
Seen him play, got skills..
Everything says 2003 except Keith who says it’s 2004.
The reason he plays sidearm is because when he was a little kid he couldn't reach the the table so he sat a milk crate on the floor so he could reach the table and he still had to shoot side atm just to reach the table and it always stuck
Reyes came in and just took it all, only Strickland and Mike survived the onslaught
godbless us all amen🙏🏻❤😘
hey guys
Yes we do
@ 38:40 an awesome power forward shot by McCready
One of the best runouts on vid. The cut prior also awesome.
I can watch Keith all day. Paricas slow play, is agonizing.
38:47 McCready got instant respect. Monster shot
one of the best shots ive ever seen. incredible to create that angle and get position.
I didn't know Simon Cowell can play pool.
hahahaha!
😂
Hahah 😂😂😂😂
Keith is the Jim Carey of pool 😋
LoL you better keep Kieth off the beer and on the Color of Money shooting. Love that Earl shot Billy was calling to the draw and Keith shot the follow 3 rails out of the corner via Earl the Peril Strickland rails around the world LMAO 🤣
When was that shot ?
@@davidmcvay5096 38:29
Lmao it's lights out Kieth great shooting Kieth what's up?¿?😎😎😎
I used to play Keith at Hard Times in So Cal. Fun guy. Definitely beatable. Lol
"the Dypsy doo", was an extreme force follow shot on Grady's tape. Incardona never watched that tape, wink. "The dypsy doo"
I bloody miss Mr. Matthews! A finer pool commentator there's none!
Is there anywhere that i could find the finals match at?
This was the year that Jeremy Jones played Jose Parica in the finals. That match has not been posted on our channel yet.
@@AccuStats i would love to see that match
Parica has too many mistakes, I think he has passed his prime. McCready is still making some spectacular shots and lesser mistakes, deserves the win. Thanks for sharing.
Do you have to be so critical of a man who could. also exhausted. I loath the {age) comment.
Keiths body movement on his breaks look so slow and delayed 😂 but he does it so strong no idea how
what's the purpose of steel square around the table?
It was yet another dumb promoters idea. It helped the players NONE.
LoL Does Billy realize that if any player is in the chair means he isn't shooting and can not win if not shooting 😂😂😂 I wish I could have thought of that win if the other person does shoot genius pure genius's.
The Dipsy-Doo!
Keith, earl, mike.....love the vocal players who domt give a damn
I used to own this match, I've seen it many times it's a fun one!
Same here. We used to have a hub where we would share the videos. All before UA-cam was there
*MCREADY WAS 45-46 YEARS OLD IN 2003. BUT LOOKS OLDER. KEITH BANKS GREAT. WAY BETTER THAN ANY PLAYERS TODAY. WATCH KEITH PLAY ONE POCKET. HIS SIDE ARM, WE WILL NEVER SEE A PLAYER SHOOT LIKE THAT AGAIN. KEITH MCREADY IS A CLASS ACT AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN PUT IN TO THE BILLIARDS HALL OF FAME*
Nobody on Earth could beat Keith in the 80s, Fact, not for the cash, Nice comments by the way
Earthquake, whole lotta shaken going on. Don't dog it, and you're a daisy to win. Shoot em in like they got eyes.
29:52 lmao
So amazing that 13 years ago Mccready got to so far in the US open.
just an average pool player not just the likes of strickland, archer, morris, rempe, etc to name a few...
I watched McCready when he beat Efren Reyes in the 88 US open. He may be cocky but he backs up his mouth with his stick.
awesome watching the legend of old play pool. but i just notice from technical players like Parica, they tend to over think and that's why most of the time they missed out on positional plays or miss shots.
Keith is moving alot
Keith and W.C. Fields sportin' that gin blossom.
HA HA HA HA! AH
HA HA HA!
That feeling when you've got a lot to say and you know you shouldn't speak any of it.
éven alex higgins cueed straighter then keith lollll amazing this
watching this keith guy is hillarious, cant believe people can play so well like that lol
gotta understand the game to understand Keith :)
@@jgallagher1359 if you understand the game he just makes you scratch your head
@@paxconsciente3352 haha you may be missing a piece kid. there's a lotttt of ways to do it.
@@jgallagher1359 probably couldnt make a ball on a snooker table, the maniac.
@@paxconsciente3352 snooker's not really that hard. it just gets a rep for that bc the British are so into it and proud. If you can play pool like Keith you can do anything in the cue world.
I'm not much of a pool player, but i do love to watch pool matches. And somehow this McCready guy isn't as graceful as the others, but seems to be a good potter. 😂 That is a strange strange form
Does Billy ever get tired of being wrong?¿?😎
He shot a 935 not too shabby for a guy that quit for many years
@3:05 the fossils stop talking and pool begins
Jose Parica vs Simon Cowell..lol😂
*EVOL!*
jose parica is our president now in Philippines
Parking "whitie" in the middle of the table lol
Keith deserved to win this Us Open, He played better pool than anyone in Virginia, He roasted Alex early, a shame he only got 3rd
What happened to McCready? Looked and acted like he'd spent the last few years living out of a shopping cart. Amazing how he could play so well with that chicken wing stroke of his and all the body movement during his shots.
He is really hard to watch. Imagine Ouschan or Shane against him. The game is on a different level now.
crack cocaine
@@georgesotiriou7051 When Keith would get on he'd run over anyone. Think that's pretty well known and understood at this point, at least by people who know and play pool. Shane and Albin are great. Would take Keith over them for the money and if it matted iin the same era. Not joking.
oh no, he has CLASS! just ask accustats. hahaha (i'm being sarcastic. he probably lives in a homeless shelter).
@@jgallagher1359 🙄
I´m sure I saw McCready once, standing outside my local pub in Scotland drinking a can of Carlsberg Special singing Irish songs. I gave him a quid.
The amount of touch and feel Keith has can confuse people as to his ability or technique. When you know the right shot to play. And the right spin to use. And have a good feel for the table...it doesn't require using what is considered "normal" technique.
Lay the cue tip right where it needs to be. Hit it. That's about it.
Drago has a similar idea.
These guys are geniuses.
Alex higgins was kind of all over the place too, I tend to think dragos technique is actually pretty bog standard.
@@dzarren Drago is very standard for snooker. But his pace and approach is very different than pool players. Pool fans could learn a lot from it.
To see a talented n player execute the improbable
Bad technique leads to inconsistency, which is what stops players like McCready from being a top pro. Yeah there are some outliers, but repeating technique in any sport is what gives you the highest chance to excel.
@@joemac999 You don't have the first clue as to what good or bad technique is.
All you're doing is saying if the style in which someone shoots looks like the majority of other players or players you like.
