Keith McCready has such an unorthodox, nostalgic style! With that "body upright, side-arm, palm-facing-downwards-towards-the-floor" style, one is reminded of the early century three-cushion billiard greats like Willie Hoppe and Welker Cochran. Does anyone else get this same impression when watching Keith McCready shoot?
He reminded me of the guy in the commerical who took johnny archer's cue. Lol just kidding. Keith was a hell of a talent, back from an era when pool was a lot tougher of a game because the players were tougher
It was a good idea but never really worked. The table cloth would get dimples after a while and the balls would just roll into them. Like the commentator said, it does even out the racks so everyone has a bad rack.
That blimp is very annoying to me, like what you would see in some children's game. It's enough to watch the girls holding the rack number walk around the table like in a boxing match. I would just like to see professional pool without trying to add something to it that only takes away from it.

I used to be a big McCready fan until I watched a video in which KM called Efren Reyes "my little man." Reyes is the greatest pool player of all time. He is the Babe Ruth of pool and deserves utmost respect for his talent and his humble ways.
Efren was just coming up around that time, and wasn’t winning major tournaments. McCready was well known, unlike Reyes at the time. If that match got played a few years later, he never would of made that comment. I personally don’t have a problem with what was said. I like that “fuck you” attitude.
Calm down man, don't be so sensitive about it. McCready talked a lot of BS but he could back it up and it was all in fun while entertaining himself and the crowd when he plays. He respects Reyes as a person and for his skill and accomplishments in pool.
Efren is the best all around player I’ll give ya that , but Efren isn’t close to the best 9 ball player or finals player , accolades and records speak for themselves , Efren always fell apart in the finals , don’t take my work look it up , where earl took his game to a higher level on the biggest stage . As far as 9 ball goes , earl/svb that’s the standard
His stroke looks like that because he could not reach the table when he started playing. Then Ronnie and Richie took him to school. The rest is history
It seems like a miracle only because your mind can only process what you consider a regular stance. In reality it doesn't matter how you stand or hit the ball, once you're consistent in hitting it where you desire. Efren and Bustamante both have bad stances and strokes too they learned as a child same as McCready and never learned "right". There is no right way other than winning tournaments
