Important update: As said in this video, official transcripts are now required for this application. You will be asked the question “Do you have an official letter from your school that confirms you’ve completed your study program, as well as a copy of your final transcript?” in your questionnaire. After visiting the Student Service Centre links, you will see the official proof of enrolment letter can now be issued to you by email (you can use the free self-serve letter on Quest: uwaterloo.ca/quest/help/stude...) and official transcript can be issued to you through MyCreds online.
Important update: As of February 23, 2023, IRCC is resuming the collection of biometrics for individuals in Canada who are applying for temporary residence: www.canada.ca/en/immigration-.... Anyone applying for a temporary status from within Canada will need to give biometrics if they had not given them already within the last 10 years.
There is a question in the eligibility questionnaire that asks, "In the past 10 years, have you given your fingerprints and photo (biometrics) for an application to come to Canada?" Be sure to answer this honestly and correctly. If you’re unsure, you can use the Check Status tool to find out if your biometrics are still valid: onlineservices-servicesenlign.... If you have not given biometrics before (or if your biometrics are expiring soon), you should pay the additional $85 biometrics fee and you will receive a Biometrics Instruction Letter with further instructions shortly after applying online.

i wanna ask you, i was creating ircc account but i need to fill last name which i dont have on my passport.
On passport there is only name Manpreet singh in the given name section.
So without fill out last name i cant proceed so what can i do?
I have done 2 post graduation courses so i have to put both courses in education box ?

I have a question. I have read that we can apply our pgwp application with unofficial transcript, and after we get the official one, we can attached it later after submitting it.
Now my question is that, I have submitted pgwp application. Now I have my official transcript. I want to upload that one. How can I do it?
I checked under the application status/sublimed application, but there is no option to upload a new document.
Can you please help me.

I have one problem filing IMM5170e form. I don't have a last name but the form has Last name as a mandatory field. I tried putting '-' in there but didn't worked out.

11:35 - the form I downloaded doesn't have the pgwp option. The only option that allows me to skip the steps is "open work permit". Should is choose it?
Reason for 1st refusal was my language incompatibliy, academic and many more things but not one and for second tym reason was that they doubt about leaving canada after study

It says that after you click to validate the form- a barcode has to appear, however, I didn't for me. I left the "job" part blank and the "validate" button keep highlighting the part I left blank. What to do?

Hi, my question is regarding the PDWP application receipt. I have received the Application Submission Receipt in which it says valid till Oct. 09 or till the decision is made by IRCC. But one of my friends also applied two months earlier, he said he did not receive any validity date on the letter. If you have any idea about this then please guide. Thank you!

Hi i have a question. I paid for biometrics in 2020 when I was applying to extend my study permit but because of corona virus I have not been able to give my biometric. Now I am applying for my PGWP and the system automatically charges me for a biometric which I have paid for but wasnt able to give because of current situation. Is there a way I can get a refund or avoid paying for the same thing twice?
In the initial questionnaire, you suggest putting "no" as to whether I have a written offer of employment or not, but what if I am applying with my husband and I must have a job? should it also be placed in that place?

Hello there, I'm planning to take administrative assistant course, which is a one year course, could you advise if this course is eligible for PGWP. Because some UA-cam videos advice that the course need to lead to diploma but I'm not sure if administrative assistant will lead to diploma.
In the question where it says is work a part of your studies and we have co op in the course we still select no as we need to work work permit ahead? Or we can put yes as it was part of course

Hi i have i am a student recently completed my study. I have 3 questions regarding to the form: 1 - What if we don't have family name printed on the passport . Then what should we type in that for an answer? 2 - What if we have two passports and the previous passport is expired and i get new passport, so in document checklist do we have to provide details (like first and last page) of both passports or only details of new passport is enough because my personal details on both passports are same. 3 - I am unable to access my old gckey account which i made while applying for study permit, so can i make new Gckey account and apply my work permit from that account?
