An oldie but goodie. I’ve tied this about 15+ times over the years and still have to come back to this video (as with many others) from time to time to refresh my memory. Still one of the better illustrations on tying multi-pass Spanish Ring Knot. Much appreciation Marko. D

I really enjoy your videos, however it would be great if you could show the final steps which involve cutting and then melting and most importantly, hiding the ends of the cord please?

Yes, I also need help with hiding the ends. A brief video would really help.

Why don't any of the ring knot tutorials show what to do with the loose ends, how to tie off, and how to finish the knot?

It seems that you mist have an even number of nights in the first 3-pass turks head for this to work.

Please add a 'warning' about needing two mandrels :-)
    (And about 2m of cord).

hi...since I work with leater I'd like to use those knots in my projects...I've tried a few but I'm stuck at the "closing" point.
I mean: once I've tied the knot what do I do with the standing and the working end? Don't know how to have the knot fixed..can you help me??

I sewed the ends of mine together with a thread that matched the leather and hid the join in the braid. I have not found any tutorials on doing these types of rings with leather. Let us know what you come up with.

It's beautiful, but what do you do with it. It's too big for a ring and too small for a bracelet. Thank you

      Hey!
Usually this would be used to decorate a handle, as part of a project. You could also tighten it for example around a coin.

      Hey!
I would suggest using type 1 paracord in that case.

      what is type 1 paracord ? I can't find it anywhere .

    • @Paracordguild
      @Paracordguild  7 років тому +1

      Hey!
Type 1 paracord is basically thinner paracord. It has a diameter of about 1.85 mm or 1/14 inch. I dug it up on Amazon: amzn.to/2tmBFsd
If you want to go even smaller, you could also try micro cord which is 1/20 inch or 1.18 mm. Again, I was able to dig some up on Amazon:

      I hope this helps!

Scouts use it to secure their kerchiefs. You can also use it as a napkin ring. Or just wear it on your thumb

This would be easier to follow with the sound off. I can follow the visual, but the voice confuses me.
